Highly Incompetent and Lacking Commitment

Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. First my simple item (a nightstand) was delayed 3 times. The third time I asked them to refund me and they issued it and then cancelled the refund because the item was already being shipped. I was sent a fedex tracking number which never issued a delivery date due to them not receiving the package. Then I called them and the representative told me it probably got lost and would reorder it. Today (7 weeks after I ordered it) I called to ask for an update, the reorder had not been issued. Absolute incompetency, will never use this company (or Wayfair by association) again, and will go out of my way to make sure as many people as possible don't use this redundant platform.

One of the worst customer experiences…

One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in online shopping. First, shipping time was around 15 days. No problem, it was a large set of outdoor furniture. Received a text trekking me when it would be delivered. Then nothing. No furniture, no call. Called later on day of delivery. Said would be about 2 hours late. Nothing again, nothing. We had to call again, said it would be delivered that day. Again nothing. When we called them again, they didn’t know where it was. Went through this for 3 days. Every contact had to be initiated by me. In the end, cancelled order. They couldn’t have cared less. Will NEVER purchase from them again. Wayfarer owns them. Need to get them straightened out. BOOOO!

False Advertising

I bought 3 - 12-piece dish sets advertised as white. When they arrived they were a horrible blue-ish gray. J&M will not allow me to return them so I'm stuck with 12 plates, 12 salad plates and 12 cereal bowls that I cannot use. Will never buy from J&M again.

Ordered a Highboy TV stand "ASSEMBLED"

Ordered a Highboy TV stand, "assembled" . Was delivered promptly,December 28th, in a box, unassembled, from "Wayfair", who uses "Handy" to have someone come to assemble it. Four shedulings, four 'no shows' later, (we're told now that Handy doesn't contact the handyman to do the job, the handyman works independently, they just schedule the 'booking').Today, January 7,9:15AM, we were 'booked' for someone to come do the job, and, of course, no one shows, the 'booking' was changed by them for Jan 10,6:15PM.
I went to 'chat', and "they're very sorry about our inconvenience, will give us a $10.00 credit on our next purchase."We will have to assemble it ourselves or pay to have a local handyman do it for us. Guess we won't be ordering anything from Joss and Main again!

Horrible Service

I first have to say, for me to actually take the time out my day to sit down and type this up, means this has gotten way out of hand. I placed an order for a 9 X 12 area rug on 11/24/18. When I received the rug the following week I realized Joss & Main had sent me the wrong rug. I contacted customer service and they said they could fix the problem by placing another order for my correct rug. I asked them if it would be possible to order the rug I want in a size down (8 X 10) because looking at the incorrect rug on my floor, I would prefer the size to be slightly smaller. The gentleman said I would have to process the replacement prior to processing an exchange. So basically, return the incorrect rug, let him order a rug in a size I don’t want, have them deliver the correct rug in the size I don’t want, then call back to tell them I want to return it and exchange it for a size I do want. He also asked for me to repackage the incorrect rug to be picked back up by FedEx. I told the worker the rug came in a sealed plastic bag which was cut open for me to discover it was the wrong rug. There was no way to reuse the packaging. I was then asked to buy supplies to use. I told them I would NOT use my own money to buy supplies to fix something that was their mess up. They offered me a credit to cover the supplies. Although annoyed with that logic, I went ahead. I went to Lowe’s and bought plastic wrap and tape and re-rolled the 9X12 rug. The CORRECT rug (wrong size) was scheduled for delivery 12/1/18, but did not get delivered until 12/3/18. On 12/3/18, FedEx also came to pick up the incorrect rug. Joss & Main sent me a return label for my correct rug (wrong size) to be picked BACK up by FedEx for 12/4/18. On the return instructions, it specifically states “We’ll issue $XXX.XX in store credit to your Joss & Main account within 1 business day after pickup” which would have been 12/5/18. By 12/6/18, I had not received a refund so I contacted Joss & Main because I was anxious about repurchasing the correct rug in the size I’d like so I could have it by Christmas. The worker stated he would “release the funds” and I should see them in my Joss & Main account as in store credit by the next day (12/7/18). The next day, still no refund. I again contacted Joss & Main. This time the agent stated I was wrong to believe I’d receive a refund the day after the item was picked up from me and that it’s ACTUALLY the day after the warehouse receives it. I disputed that “policy” since I had email proof that Joss & Main sent me stating otherwise. Regardless of the fact I had proof that I should have received a refund days prior, the agent stated my item was received in the warehouse Thursday, 12/6/18 MEANING at that time a day had passed since the item was received in the warehouse and I was entitled to my refund (per their new made up policy). AGAIN, I am told by a worker that he is releasing my refund and it will be available no later than Monday, 12/10/18. Monday rolls around and no refund. I call customer service again. Same story. The refund is released a day after the warehouse receives it but the worker was going to release the hold and it will be available by the next day. Next day comes (Tuesday, 12/11/18) and STILL no refund. At this point, I haven’t had any products in over a week. Joss & Main HAS both rugs but I STILL HAVE NO REFUND. I call customer service. The agent places me on hold for awhile. When he finally comes back I’m informed it’s been escalated and I should be hearing from a “case manager” regarding my refund. He told me it looks like my case is “sitting waiting to be processed”. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!! I’ve been getting the run around since day ONE. I’m mad I’m being forced to receive an in-store credit (whenever that’ll even take place). If I had the option, I wouldn’t spend another dime towards this company. As quick as they are to take peoples money, they should be in returning it when the customer returns the product. Also, don’t false advertise. They made this return process seem like a breeze. Here I am a week later still trying to get my money back. What’s sad is, after reading countless reviews, I’m somewhat relieved to see I’m not the only one dealing with horrible customer service. Save yourself the hassle. Just RUN!

And I bet you what’s going to end up happening is they’ll try to consider what they refunded me to buy supplies as a portion of my refund for the rug. So basically...I paid them to return a product I didn’t even order.

Straight up liars!!!

I have to start saying that this company is the worst I've ever known. Basically they lied to me, I had order a bed (very expensive by the way) and the original delivery date was December 13. I got an email and tracking number on December 3 saying that the bed was shipped and today December 10 I was notified by e-mail that the delivery date was changed to January 4 because the bed was in back order!!! I thought it was shipped already?! So the e-mail I received was fake? What kind of company is this? They lied to my face!! I called and complain and they say that there is nothing they could do! So I will have to sleep on the floor until they decide to deliver my bed. I also have to say that my card was charged the same day I received the FAKE confirmation that my order was shipped. Never ever buying anything else here!!! #joss&main #wayfair

False ratings on their website

False ratings on their website. I never bought anything from them but those reviews on their website are fake!! That automatically makes them untrustworthy. I don’t want to buy anything from a company that posts false ratings on their own site. Did you notice that all reviews are exactly the same? No matter how many ratings there are per item they’re all 4.5 stars. And it’s totally unrealistic. Ikea will have like 3 or 8 reviews for a bed for example and there are some bad reviews as well... But this company only has good reviews, every single item is 4.5 stars, and they claim to have thousands of reviews per each item! Beware. It’s too bad because a lot of stuff looks cute and cheap. But I guess when something looks too good to be true it probably is.

IMO, 4-5 star rating cant be true.

I thought it strange that the majority of items are rated at a 4-5 rating. Then I found this site and am glad I didn't order from them. Ratings turned off on Facebook, shipping partial orders and waiting for months or never getting, never receiving because items are drop shipped and never in stock, items not in stock period?
I am furnishing our 3500, 5/4 bath as a rental, mostly from my bed because of having an ankle replacement. I don't ever want to deal with such dishonesty and shakiness, which is how I see the practices of this company.
The first thing I have looked for it the honesty and believability of ratings; therefore, I never would have searched further if most ratings would have been more in line with other retailers. IMO, no company this large has 4-5 stars on practically everything! Too bad because I really like a lot of this items but don't trust them now.

Shipping incomplete product.

Do not buy any product from Jason & Main. I placed an order on September 24, today it is October 17 and have not receive complete product. Jason & Main ship one piece at a time. When I contact case manager, they are not responsive. Still waiting for missing parts to be delivered. I have horrible experience from this. I give 1,0000 thumbs down for this web site.

Ordered a bed frame

Ordered a bed frame. 2 weeks later, they delivered half of the bed and said the other half is missing and they are trying to located it. 1 month later, still not have the missing parts. Is it my fault that their shipping got lost? NO. Then why the f*** do I have to wait for them to find the missing parts. Why cant they just send me the parts from their warehouse?

Really disappointed in which my order…

Really disappointed in which my order was handled and delivered. Its a pity that you have turned off reviews for your brand on Facebook. I would have wanted to give feedback. The order arrived a week late, and I had to follow up everyday to just get it delivered. I was promised that the bed would be left inside the room but it was left at the front gate, without even a call to me to tell me that it has arrived. On top of that, the item arrived in the condition attached. Box is completely ripped, is this how you treat your customers? I was planning on ordering a bunch of stuff for the living room and bedroom but now am just going to Amazon.

cheap product with cheap prices

i have had several bad experiences with joss and main and their many other umbrella site, like wayfair, all modern etc. lousy cheap product at granted cheap prices, you really do get what you pay for though so dont buy from here thinking you are getting any deals, just cheaply made product at cheap prices. purchase with caution. and forget returning. 8 out of 10 times there is a problem. really i wish all these fake drop ship sites would go away. dont bother,

Once I signed up at Wayfair I started…

Once I signed up at Wayfair I started getting emails from all their companies. No attempts to unsubscribe from the joss and main email list worked.

I finally got to a place to edit my account. I am hopeful I will now be dropped from their predatory notices, as I changed my email to a false one. .

When you get down to the quality of their goods, I can buy what I need for less locally and get a superior quality. I’ve seen so much crap ay all ther sites I want to vomit

Extremely frustrating experience

Extremely frustrating experience. Do not order anything if there is any chance AT ALL that you will need to return it because you will get a run around for WEEKS on where you can submit your return. At this point I'm pretty sure this is a scam and I'll never be able to return this purchase.

Selling what they don't have

I ordered an item, told it would be delivered by a certain date. The day before the item was to arrive, I received an email that there was a delay with delivery. The next day, I received notification that the order had been cancelled - no specific reason except that they "are working with their warehouse to ensure this doesn't happen again". I sent an email to customer service and have yet to hear back.

Will not EVER order from Joss & Main again

I ordered an item and then decided…

I ordered an item and then decided against the color. I went online to cancel the order within 30 MINUTES of placing it . The automatic reply to my cancellation request said someone will get back to you via email within 24 hours . 24Hours ! I get an email a day later telling me that she will go check to see if it was shipped out . 5 days later , I get an email saying it’s too late to cancel as the order already shipped . 2 days later after that , I get an email stating that my item finally shipped .
Then I get another email saying that a free return slip will be with my order so I can return it . Well I opened my package and there’s no return slip .
Most outdated awful customer service from this company.
I will never order from here again or refer anyone to this site .

horrible customer service

I placed an order for a large piece of furniture as a gift with the shipping address being different from the billing address and because of the address difference they would not process the order. I tried to speak with customer service regarding the reason why I was having the furniture sent to a different address and they still would not process the order. I have known many people who have placed orders online with their shipping address different from their billing address due to the purchase being a gift and they never had a problem having their orders processed.
Joss and Main just lost a big order that was NOT FRAUDULENT.
I will NEVER place an order with this website again!!
