Jotform is a powerful platform

Jotform is a powerful platform, I wanted to crreate an app for tattoo artists that gives them an easier way of managing their business. All I did was described to Jotform's AI how i wanted my app to look, who my app was for, and what features i wanted my app to include and jotform created my app in less than 5 minutes. It would've taken me months to do this without Jotform.

Helpful Free AI Chat Tool for Handling Customer Questions

I’ve been using Jotform for a while and recently tried their AI Agents feature to help handle customer questions on my website. I sell customized products online, and customers often ask about design changes, customization options, and shipping timelines. The AI chat helps answer many of these questions instantly through live chat, which saves me time and allows visitors to get information even when I’m not immediately available.

Setup was straightforward and it was easy to train the AI with information about my products so it can provide more relevant responses.

One thing that could improve is having reusable response templates or macros for when a human needs to continue the conversation. The AI can already provide most of the information, but templates would make it easier to quickly respond if support takes over. I’d also like to see the interface become a bit more modern and polished.

Overall it’s been a helpful tool for reducing repetitive customer questions on my site.

DOUBLE CHARGED OVER $1000

I got double charged for months for my Gold Membership. Both Jotform and Apple are refusing to take responsibility and issue a refund. Jotform wont even provide credits to make this right. The glitch in their app caused me to be charged on the 22nd and the 24th of each month and the charges total in over $1000 for the months it was going on. I have been paying for my Gold Membership for 3-4 years now but this will definitely be my last month with Jotform.

This went on from around June 2025-Dec 2025

No Customer Service Offered

This company has chosen to offer no real customer support. They have an AI agent that is not equipped to handle technical issues and will lie to you about a live agent coming. Then later after you have been waiting hours the AI will admit there was never a live agent coming. So you are stuck in the same useless circle of the same wrong answers that get you no where, only give up and find a different company after hours of form building. The forms were working, so don't think it was just user error in not knowing how the platform works. They were going along fine and then just stopped submitting forms to users or us, so the data was just floating out there in no mans land, well in Jotform, but you had to log in to find it and didn't know it was there to find.

Paper applications turned digital!

This was a great alternative to paper applications! I was able to create a digital application for free and can receive up to 100 submissions per month. The user interface was simple enough for new users but technical enough to include many helpful features.

Two accounts deleted without reason in one day

I had two active accounts with Jotform, both deleted without any valid reason. I have not violated any terms of service. This action is unnecessary, unfair, and has caused me significant frustration, as I relied on these accounts for my AI projects.

I contacted Jotform support for an explanation, but so far, no clear answer or resolution has been provided. Deleting accounts arbitrarily undermines user trust and is completely unprofessional for a service of this scale.

I strongly urge Jotform to reconsider their account deletion policies and provide transparency in their actions. Users should not have to face arbitrary penalties without explanation.

I have used Jotform for several years…

I have used Jotform for several years now. One thing I have noticed is the Jotforms Status page is a lie. They will record that it is down that day, then erase it so people think they up times are more consistent that they are. A perfect example is today. They were down today and now tonight, it says they were never down, even though they reported a bug in there system and they were monitoring it after the fix earlier. They have been down 3 times in the last 2 weeks but now the status only shows an outage once. They are still down as of right now if you have signed out. If you never signed out, it works.

Jotform uses a load-balanced infrastructure. In simple terms, we have multiple servers behind a load balancer. If one server experiences an issue, traffic is automatically routed to other available servers to minimize or completely prevent downtime. Because of this redundancy, some users may experience temporary issues while others continue working without interruption.
Regarding the uptime statistics shown on our status page, these are automatically generated using widely trusted third-party monitoring tools that fetch uptime data via API. This process is automated and cannot be manually altered. If an outage meets our system-wide reporting criteria, it will be recorded accordingly.
