So disappointed
Cheapest feeling sofa, overstuffed very hard cushions, nothing like the showroom sofa I sat on then ordered. So disappointed. Wanted to love it, loved the showroom sofa, received something that I’d expect from overstock or a generic site for half the price.

Joybird Holt Sectional
I ordered a Joybird Holt Sectional on September 1, then received an email on September 8 asking me to review my experience. Asking for a review prior to receiving delivery felt odd, so I have waited to submit my feedback.
I watched the production progress on the Joybird website, then on September 28 I received an update that my sectional was done with production, had been transferred to Joybird's delivery partner, and it was time to schedule my delivery. When I tried to schedule a delivery date, I was told their delivery partner did not service my address (Chico, CA).
After some back & forth with Joybird customer service (I was able to reach a human every time I called) I asked where my couch currently was, and was told it had been shipped to Ontario, CA (right next to Chino, CA). It was never confirmed, but my educated guess is that Joybird mixed up Chico & Chino, rather than relying on zip codes for delivery logistics.
I was told it could take another 1-3 weeks for Joybird to transfer my sectional from the original delivery partner in Southern California to one that serviced my address in Northern California. I was understandably not happy, so Joybird offered me a 5-year protection plan and a pair of throw pillows for the inconvenience. I appreciate the gesture, but it still felt like such an elementary mix-up.
Thankfully, my sectional arrived to JB Hunt in Sacramento only a few days later, on October 3 and I was able to schedule my delivery for October 9. The JB Hunt guys assembled the sectional, despite Joybird's website saying that "White Glove Delivery" doesn't include attaching the sofa & chaise with the included sectional brackets. I'm glad they didn't get the memo!
I will leave a more thorough product review on the Joybird website, but this review is solely based on my order, production, and delivery experience.

Gorgeous Couch, but Wears QUICKLY
This couch is gorgeous & perfect for the space, but I have a few problems with the quality of the furniture. The color of the sectional is at least 3 shades different in person than the swatch I received. I know this happens, so I’m not really upset about it because it looks good. However, the sectional arrived at the end of August & now it’s already sinking in the chase part of the sectional. I ordered the Holt with storage under the chase, so I assumed there’s proper support for someone to lounge on but there isn’t. There’s no wood or anything going horizontally across the chase for any type of support for someone sitting or lounging in it. The chase is sinking & it’s very noticeable already. Very disappointing for a very expensive couch.

Great to get the hands-on experience
Really enjoyed my time inside the Joybird store in Seattle. While I did have friends with Joybird couches, I really enjoyed working with their associates and being able to checkout the furniture and fabrics in person. Communication and delivery was easy through the whole process. Shoutout to Yume for the help.

Terrible Experience
I received an email 3 weeks ago saying that my order had shipped and absolutely no communication since then.
I contacted Joybird and got a recording saying leave a message.
Next day I got a voice mail saying that someone (I couldn’t understand what they were saying) had my $3,ooo order and that they would contact me in 5-7 business days. And still no one has contacted me.
How can I get a refund when you can’t speak with a human being?????
Lack of communication and terrible customer service.
I will never order from them again.
In response to Joybird saying that my order was being refunded/ yes it was refunded over 2 months after my order was placed and many, many phone calls and emails.
When I finally got a response from joybird about the refund they said it would be 10 working days, keep in mind it’s been over 2 months that they’ve had my $3000, before the refund would be issued! I of course protested and then the customer service representative said well ok I think I can push it through and you can get it sooner.
1. I had to pay my credit card.
2. I had no bedroom furniture and had been waiting 2 months
3. Why would it take 10 days to refund my money?
4. Check their BBB rating. Pretty scary that I ordered from them without checking.
5. Which leads me to wonder if their reviews are actually customers or fake reviews.

Misleading and VERY POOR QUALITY …
I purchased a clearance sofa for a very high price, and it was broken in 5 months with very minimal use. The website is extremely misleading because the page where you purchase the sofa says "Lifetime Warranty" but if you click twice on small links, you find that a clearance item is not covered. Again, the page where you view the item clearly says "Lifetime Warranty."

Communication is not great
Communication is not great. Bought a couch during a sale, which meant they were going to send me a swatch kit. Two weeks pass and I have received two emails telling me they cannot start the couch until I pick the fabric so I reached out to find out what the delay was on those. Now I find out that, not only is the build on a several-week wait, the swatches are delayed 4-5 weeks as well because of high demand from sales. This feels dishonest! Why not prioritize someone who already paid over people looking for free samples? The customer service person I spoke to just made me feel like I was one of many people stuck waiting for things when Joybird already had payment.

Very helpful customer service
Very helpful customer service wjen I was making a decision on purchasing an ottoman for a Joybird sectional I bought earlier for which a matching ottoman is not offered (Miller). Was recommended one that was close in style and purchased a set of replacement Miller feet which elevated the ottoman to the correct height - a perfect solution and excellent match ! Arrived sooner than anticipated.
