Purchased a carpet today and the owners are just all round great people.

I've fitted the carpet this evening and the quality is perfect, especially for the price too. We're both very happy with it.

I have given 3 stars to this company, not because of the product but because of the poor customer service caused by one of it's members of staff The product is very good and worthy of 5 stars but the customer care, or lack of, has left a bitter taste. The gentleman I initially dealt with was friendly, polite and professional, basically everything you'd expect.
Today the carpet was fitted (the carpet fitters were very good). However, they asked if I had door strips, to which I had no idea and just assumed they would be provided. I do remember paying extra for something, but apparently that was the grippers and underlay, which I only became aware of after ringing the company while the fitters were there to ask what I was to do without door strips. (Turned out they had some in the van after all). At that point I thought we didn't have the door strips and asked what I was to do, to which she said I needed to go to the shop and get some (I don't live around the corner). I was taken aback because she didn't even try and offer any help or explanation as to why they weren't there in the first place and actually said as I was the customer I should know what I want, ie, door strips etc. I was never asked about door strips and if I had been most certainly would have ordered them. Her tone of voice and the way she spoke to me as a customer was very inappropriate and I'm sad to say she has let this family business down. Just very inappropriate and not the way anyone should talk to a customer if they want continued business. Very disappointed.

We’ve had James fit a carpet in our old house so when we moved there was only one company we wanted to fit carpets throughout our new house (not including kitchen and bathroom at time of move). We purchased the carpets via James who has so many samples to look at and great suggestions for wear and tear also underlay suggestions . before our move date and he was great in waiting for us to move storing the carpet & underlay once we was able to get in the day before the move James and his team pulled everything that was left behind up as requested and had that all collected within two days. nice decent underlay was purchased as suggested by James and wow glad we did a few friends who have been round have said the carpets “feel bouncy & like walking on clouds” which to be honest I have noticed this when we have returned from being away.
We have had James come back and fit Vinyl in our kitchen again another neat and tidy and a well done job also a coir front door mat as we forgot to measure this before the move. we are due to have him fit Vinyl in our bathroom as the floor is so cold he has suggested a resin coating before the vinyl again always suggesting the best for a good job well done. We will always recommend James & his team definitely 10/10 great price & quality and really lovely professional team

James has laid several carpets for us and my family we needed a new living room carpet as just decorated they fitted us in on a Saturday morning turned up in time and done quickly lovely carpet great prices professional job so polite and helpful James thank

Called James on Monday afternoon for some professional advice and a quote to fit a carpet.

He gave sound professional advice, allowed me to weigh up the options and provided a very reasonable quote.

I had a very short timeframe for fitting and James and the team were able to fit me in at short notice which was a lifesaver!

Arrived on time, very friendly and polite, all done quickly and professionally, very tidy and the room looks brilliant. All aftercare explained clearly as well and came in exactly as quoted price wise.

Can’t thank this family business enough for helping me out in a tight spot and can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking for work done or professional advice.

James provided me with plenty of helpful advice beforehand and then fitted the carpet to an excellent standard. All at short notice. Superb knowledge and experience. It looks fantastic! Prompt, reliable, tidy and polite. Highly recommend.
