Used this grade of chippings before to make a dressing for a shrub border and was impressed with how well they settled and bonded together to form a semi-solid layer. Now got a second load to use as a top surface for a small patio area and once again they worked exactly as hoped….semi set surface yet small enough to be comfortable to walk on without the ‘give’ of larger gravel……would be great as a top dressing for garden paths too…..
