Brilliant walking pad, I’m using it every day to get my steps up and it’s really good. Feels sturdy and good quality, easy to use. It’s very heavy and bigger than I imagined so you won’t want to be moving it around but for me those things mean it is well made and robust.

the Walking Treadmill is ideal for me, having had a Total knee replacement in one knee and arthritis also in the left. It has enabled me to keep up with walking during January when the weather outside has been so bad. I went to JTX not only because the treadmill appeared to suit my needs but because of their excellent after sales service reviews. Unfortunately the first machine I received (on a Monday) did not work the next day. I can confirm that their after sales service is indeed excellent as a replacement treadmill came on the Thursday. All ok so far very happy with the treadmill and it appears really well made.

After researching I identified the JTX walking treadmill as the best option for what I was looking for. I am a mature woman looking to improve weightbearing exercise to support my bone density but I am also a fair weather walker so I needed an indoor option. I am not planning to run so a walking treadmill was the best choice. It has a clear display which shows distance, time and steps (plus calories if that's your sort of thing!) alternating between them. It has a small handheld control which is easy to walk with in your hand. The pause and stop options both slow the treadmill down slowly. The pause option remembers all your counts so if you have to answer the door or deal with something in the middle of a walk you can go back without the counters resetting. Although it does reset after a short period of time to zero if you don't go back. It goes up in 0.1km/hr increments starting at 0.5 up to 6km/hr. I find 4.5km/hr is a good paced walk for me and it leaves a bit of extra if I want to walk faster. You can gradually increase and decrease the speed while you're walking if you want to do this as well. The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to getting used to walking without anything to hold onto. If you lose concentration you can move slightly to the side of the tread but I think balance and stability come with practice. It may be different if you are using this with a desk. This is one of the larger ones on the market but still fits under our sofa when we need to store it out of the way. It has wheels at the top end so you can lift it and manoeuvre it around the room. I place it on the large carpet in the middle of the living room and I can walk while watching TV. It doesn't move while in use is very sturdily built and comes with a two year guarantee for parts and repairs (none of the others I checked out had this level of guarantee) I would definitely recommend this model to other people wanting to walk at home.

It didn’t work for me. I am fairly close to the maximum weight limit for this item and perhaps I was unlucky or did something wrong setting it up. I had to return it. The build quality of the item was really good.

Brilliant, sturdy well made walking pad. Fits in my bedroom and I use it to get in my steps while watching Netflix but you could just as well use this under a raised desk whilst working from home! Made sturdy, worth the cost as cheap models from other brands can set on fire and be truly a hazard plus the warranty + free repairs shows the standard its made to! 5*

Very good quality item. Quiet when in use. Basic functions which is all I require..could have included the batteries required for remote control at the price paid hence the loss of 1 star. East to move around with the wheels at front of machine. I use it along with a mat underneath which was bought separately. Would recommend buying one.
