Very solid build, just like you would get in a good gym, works smoothly, good value, very pleased.
Very easy to put together. VERY solid happy days
Excellent bike, gym standard I think. Strong a study and gives a great workout. Easy to construct
The bike seems to be a well built, sturdy piece of equipment. It was easy to put together. The price together with a free three year guarantee was an bargain.
The bike is very sturdy and well built, with instant resistance adjustment so good for hiit. Would be nice to be able to lock the cadence data as it flips between cadence and speed, but that's a rather minor issue and I'm overall very happy with the bike.
Sturdy, well built, relatively easy to assemble and smooth movement when in use. Only downside is the computer which is pretty basic for what is otherwise a high-end indoor bike.
Overall, a very good bike for the price paid. Slight issue with the monitor.
As good as I’d hoped it would be when I ordered it
Perfect very good quality sturdy
Very good, works well, happy with it
Chose based on the spec & it ticks all boxes. Highly recommended.
The bike is easy and quick to setup (but we needed 2 of us for some parts due to the weight). It took about 30 mins to assemble and adjust. Once assembled, it is as solid as any that I have used in a gym and the ease of adjustment for the saddle and handlebars (both height and position) make it simple to set up properly to suit the individual. The clear markings on all of the adjustable sections also mean that it can easily be returned to a known setup after being used by someone else. The infinite resistance system works very well and coupled with the heavy flywheel ensure a smooth and easily adjustable workload. The computer is very basic, but I use a fitbit for heart rate monitoring etc anyway so do not really use it. I have had a couple of weeks with the bike and find it comfortable, stable and solid; it is certainly as good as a gym bike. Overall, an excellent product which is versatile (spinning,/ cardio and endurance work are catered for very well) and very good value.
Not that I'm an expert in fitness equipment, but this bike is really good. The seat is slightly uncomfortable, and buying padded shorts has helped slightly! I'm still getting used to it but am enjoying the 'ride!!
Brilliant bike. Sturdy and well made.
We bought this JTX Cyclo Studio bike because of its sturdiness, British company, and good back-up service - all true. We had some teething problems at first but JTX got them all sorted out, so we are delighted with whole package.
The bike was well packaged and easy to assemble, and is well engineered. Once built, it stays very stable during use, with the included computer offering basic information, but you might want to use another device to get more detail about your workout. Adjusting the seat and handlebars can be a little bit more awkward than some other bikes but the flexibility to reposition horizontally and vertically is very useful. The 'infinite' resistance is easy to adjust and is significantly more flexibile than bikes which use a limited number of discrete resistance options. The only way it could be improved is if there was a way to visualise the current resistance so that it's easier to recreate in the future. All in all, this bike is highly recommended!
Great solid bike as long as you don't care about the computer or heart rate monitors.I measure my workout separately to the computer system and can see that it is not an accurate representation of my work out. Apart from that I love using this bike, it feels solid and well built and I have not worries pushing myself while working out.
Fast delivery and easy to assemble. Very sturdy bike
Excellent, solidly-built machine, short on gimmicks, long on build quality, just what we were after. Comfortable, easy to adjust, quiet (for someone who's used to a bike on a turbo trainer), and very, very stable. This really feels like a gym-quality machine, rather than a home one. Is it perfect? Well no, not quite. There's a slight side-to-side rock in the handlebar column, which becomes annoying very quickly - it's possible to work around this, but you really shouldn't have to, it wouldn't be hard to design out. The position markers for setting up the bike for each user are only on one side of the bike, so if that's the side that's facing the wall (for us, it is), you're out of luck - it's a small and lasting annoyance, and so easily avoidable. Also, the mounting of the computer is less than perfect, meaning you need to unscrew the whole thing to change the battery. These are small quibbles, and shouldn't put you off buying an otherwise excellent machine, but given that this isn't the first version of this model, they should really have been designed out by now, hence 4 stars rather than 5.
