I am enjoying the app overall. Right now I am focusing on Spanish, but I love that I have other options. The platform is upbeat and very interactive. I can even set a reminder for my daily lesson. I... See more

The breakdown of the language in the case studies. The repetition of key words & the feedback on your accent.
I have had some issues with the app. Sean from JUMPSPEAK has given me a lot of help mixed with patience & kindness.
So I say thank you and please let me know if you received my screenshots. They are not showing in my sent email.
Thank you

Great support when there is a problem and a good app.
I have been using Jumpspeak for just under one week and I am already seeing the benefits. Comms with the support team have been quickly and effectively responded to.
Signed up for their special pricing refundable plan for a year. Then there were pages of add ons. Those are not refundable as I found out later. So they try to upfront sell so they make money even if you cancel. They bombard you with additional emails daily to get you to buy more. You are prompted to get on the app daily even though I opted out of reminders. The parts like Duolingo are fine. Decent vocabulary and good speakers to teach but the conversations and role play are off the wall. They seem to mostly be unusual topics with rarely used words that you won’t ever use again. I told them my level and it started me at beginner. Just not too impressed. Again the refund will only be for the main program no add one so be careful.
Originally subscribed then immediately cancelled because of the upselling. In spite of the supposed 100 day guarantee and an email from the developer about about the refund, emails are now consistently ignored and the refund has not been forthcoming.
UPDATED: Thanks for the reply suggesting I contact support. I've been doing that for months and you just ignore me. If I could give no stars I would.

The application itself is ok , although I haven’t used it much. I feel as though I was misled into buying an annual subscription when I thought I was getting a 3 month free trial including AI speaking but I ended up paying for the app and AI wasn’t included! I then really struggled to find out how to contact them over the issue and ironically managed to contact them when asked to give feedback!
All that said, when I did finally manage to communicate with them I was offered an upgrade to AI without cost and a £45 reduction on next years bill so all is not bad, time will tell when it comes to renewal and hopefully the AI functions effectiveness will speak for itself, pardon the pun! 😂
Jumpspeak took my money on an automatic renewal. I had not cancelled the auto renewal as they had sent a message saying that the could not get payment from my card so l thought it was cancelled . However they subsequently took the money. I contacted them on the same day to say that l did not want to renew and this was a mistake. They have refused to refund me. I have not used jumpspeak for at least six months and the data would demonstrate that. I accept that l did not cancel (albeit misled by them by an earlier e-mail) , any good company would act with more integrity and care. I instantly responded and l have not used the app for many months. The Guardian newspaper reports that good companies would refund on that basis. I stopped using the app because every time l went on it l had to keep pressing renew the subscription to get it to work properly. In fact, l think l stopped using it because it stopped working. If l could give 0 stars or minus stars I would. I am now having to resort to opening a dispute with my bank regarding this company.

I accidentally ordered the program. They helped me with cancelling and getting a refund.

Jumpspeak is an excellent tool for people planning an holiday or will mostly stay within their own circle. I live 3 years in Spain and know all the daily stuff. I wish I had Jumpspeak years ago but now my grandson is my teacher. A bit more severe though.
On the plus side, you get to speak a lot, and you get feedback on your answers in the roleplay. On the minus side, the voice recognition is a bit iffy, so you're often given "corrections" to something you didn't say. It's also buggy at times: one conversation ended with several minutes of saying goodbye repeatedly in various ways.
A gripe I have is that the roleplays almost always ask you to use words or expressions which haven't yet been introduced - or if they have, maybe there was some vocab learning section elsewhere - but there are no instructions on how to use the material provided.
Another problem with the roleplays is the somewhat irrelevant target-setting, typically of the "use these two words and one word of a certain length" variety. Often one of the target words is also the target length, and very often the target words are used in the opening exchanges, which you don't get to participate in. If that doesn't happen, then the AI-suggested responses don't ever use the target words. These bugs need to be ironed out!
PS I'm something of a difficult customer, as I'm not a beginner, but my knowledge and vocab is very patchy, so I started jumpspeak at beginner level to make sure I didn't miss anything.
I found the application very hard to understand without any information about how it worked. At times it was very easy and then words in Spanish that I didn’t know and no translation. In the end I was doing the same exercise over and over.
Having paid for a year initially the app frequently crashed so cancelled via the app. Beware..this does not cancel your subscription and then they auto renew your subscription at €99. When you flag this they refuse to refund as cancelling via app doesn't count in their world. You have to cancel via a portal which is not made clear. Feel totally duped!

This app has been the best thing I have used on my journey learning a second language. I pair it with in person language class and it has been instrumental in helping solidify my learning process
Sneaky rolling contract. No sympathy for students who can't afford to continue even if requeating a refund a couple of days after renewal
The course is good but it was not what I expected. The support team was great and they managed perfectly and quickly my request. They are processing my refund without any problem.
I was using another app but it was too repetitive and i got tired of using it. Jumpspeak was engaging and fun. It was more realistic in terms of phrases that you would actually use in certain situations.
