Everything worked exactly as it should.

I didnt think it would work because its free but IT DID literally the best free distributor in the world in my opinion. Released very quickly aswell

don't use jumpstr its a scam. they rejected my song twice for "unoriginality" and "unauthorized samples" when i made the beat without using any samples and i recorded my own vocals on it they still rejected it. they didnt even provide links to songs that match with mine so i could identify the problem atleast. they dont respond to emails at all, yet they had the audacity to ban me from their platform. if you're looking for a free distributor, i'd recommend routenote. but you'll have to plan your release a month prior since they take time to approve your release.

Amazing experience with how fast it is released the only the thing is I wish there was a public way to see everyone else on here but amazing and fast 💨 distribution

Warning!
I used this platform for over a year and released multiple tracks without any issues. Suddenly, without any warning or communication, my account was restricted. All my releases were taken down, my balance was frozen and will not be paid out, and I was given no clear explanation of what happened. Not even any hint upfront.
This happened right when royalties finally started coming in, which makes the whole situation feel unprofessional and unpredictable. I was never contacted about any problem, and I wasn’t given a chance to correct anything.
I’m sharing this so other artists know that even after long‑term use, your account can be shut down without notice. I’ve had far better and more transparent experiences with other distributors who actually communicate with their artists.
Edit after reply from Jumpstr:
Your statement is incorrect.
I own 100 percent of the rights to every composition, every sound, every sample and every recording I upload. Nothing in my catalogue contains third party or infringing material.
I work professionally with IP, patents and rights management, so I am extremely careful with licensing, ownership and originality.
If your system flagged my content, it was due to an automated false claim or an internal error on your side, not because of any copyright violation.
You restricted my account without providing evidence, case numbers, claim IDs or DSP references.
If you have specific documentation supporting your claim, please provide it. Why are more people writing on reddit about same experience?

How long does it take you to start paying royalties? I uploaded an album in November and up till now I have not received any royalties

Reply from Jumpstr
I do NOT recommend them, useless support and nothing to trust at all
in the middle of everything, you get suspected of copyright and when you contact support and try to inform them that you own all the material in the song, they don't care and are still suspected of copyright
and support does not answer your questions
so I advise you to take all the info on your songs BEFORE this happens to you because in the middle of it all you can end up there, you can be satisfied before this kind of thing happens, I was too but these guys are not to be trusted

I previously left a review here and received a response from Jumpstr claiming that my account was restricted due to “manually verified audio infringement”.
However, I still have not received any answers to my basic questions. Jumpstr has not told me which track they claim is infringing, what the alleged infringement actually is, or provided any documentation or proof.
I am the creator of my music and have not used anyone else’s music.
Before my account was restricted, I had already earned money on the platform. I received a withdrawal of €1,150 that I had requested earlier, but the full remaining balance that was earned before the restriction has not been paid. I have also repeatedly asked for a final wallet statement showing the exact remaining balance, but this has not been provided.
What is also concerning is that this type of response (“manually verified audio infringement”) appears to be given without any detailed explanation, leaving artists without information about what they are even accused of.
I simply want transparency, clear information about the alleged claim, and payment of the earnings generated before my account was restricted.
Other artists should be careful and make sure they understand how situations like this are handled.

Banned me for no reason I had 59 releases on jumpstr. I cannot get a single dime from any of the 59 releases now. Do not use it.

I uploaded music for a while, until i got suspended (well i got a review on my account). It said it would last 24-48 hours, but it have been like a week and support don't respond to emails.

Very concerning experience with Jumpstr.
My account was suddenly restricted for an alleged “copyright infringement,” yet the company refuses to tell me which track is supposedly involved or provide any details at all. Every response I’ve received has been a generic copy-and-paste message from support, with no transparency and no attempt to properly explain the situation.
Even more worrying, despite their own distribution agreement stating that artists retain full copyright and Jumpstr only has a limited license to distribute, they are refusing to remove my music from stores after I formally withdrew permission.
As the copyright owner, I requested that my track “Accrington Pals” be taken down from all platforms. Jumpstr has refused to do this while also refusing to provide any information about the alleged infringement.
So the situation is essentially this:
• They permanently banned my account
• They refuse to say what the issue actually is
• They refuse to remove my own copyrighted work from distribution
This lack of transparency and control over your own music is extremely concerning for any artist considering using this platform.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise musicians to read the distribution agreement very carefully before uploading anything.
Artists deserve clear communication and control over their own work, and unfortunately that has not been my experience here.

So far so good they are doing a great job at releasing my music and I will recommend them to anyone

They deleted my catalogue for so called "copyright" issieus but that is clearly a lie. But no biggie. Just give me the UPC codes and i move on to another DSP. They refuse to do this. Not only they are making up a bullshit reason for deleting peoples accounts (i read here and on Reddit that this is common now) but also refuse normal requests for people who want to move on. Steer clear from these clowns. They are not worthy of your business.
Edit 09-03-2026 The answer below is nonsense. Although i have received the requested information, all releases are still online. How is that possible with copyright claims (which would mean it was taken offline by the streaming services but it seems it is not)?

Imagine working so hard with a song, you recorded and composed the instrumentals yourself, and then you suddenly got banned for "copyright infringement".
This is exact what happened to me. And I also read countless of other's experience and they also have the same problem!
it's a free distributor, but "you got what you paid for". Frustrating experience overall.
