I used Jumpstr’s distribution service for over a year. During that time, my music was successfully delivered to the platforms they advertise, and everything appeared to function normally. Uploads were processed, releases went live, and there were no major warnings about policy violations on my account.
Recently, I received an email informing me that, due to requirements from their partner stores, they could no longer distribute my music. The explanation referenced store policies regarding "originality"standards or "unauthorised samples". However, there was no prior notice, no detailed clarification about which release triggered the issue, and no opportunity to resolve or appeal the decision.
The most concerning part is that once the account is cancelled, any accumulated earnings are effectively frozen. There is no clear pathway to recover pending revenue. After building catalogue momentum for more than a year, this sudden termination feels abrupt and financially unfair.
I had previously seen other users mention similar experiences but assumed those were isolated cases. Unfortunately, I have now experienced it myself. While Jumpstr does initially distribute music as promised, the long term reliability of the service is questionable if accounts can be closed without transparent review and without proper payout of earned funds.
To improve, the company should:
• Provide clearer, upfront guidelines about content restrictions and how they are assessed.
• Offer a warning system before permanent termination.
• Allow artists to select specific platforms for distribution if certain stores have stricter policies.
• Ensure all legitimately earned revenue is paid out before account closure.
Artists rely on distributors not only for access to platforms but also for financial trust. Greater transparency, clearer communication, and fair handling of earnings would significantly improve confidence in the service.
Worst distribution service ever

Jumpstr team released my song very fast and without any serious issues. I received an email about my song not being released in time, but to be honest, I'm happy it was released at all, because I'm a small artist and new to music industry, so everything I gain is appreciated

The distribution is fast and seamless.
But when Jumpstr expanded their distribution to other platforms other than Spotify, they didn't tell me that they distributed my songs there.
This ultimately led to a 6-month goose chase with both SoundCloud and Routenote trying to get to the bottom of when did it appear there with me nearly copyright striking my own songs.
I only found this expansion out recently so I opened a support ticket with Jumpstr to confirm whether they distributed it and verify whether it's under the same label as cited by SoundCloud.
They only confirmed that they distributed it, but never verified under what label despite my repeated questioning. Instead, they kept on insisting that I "share my account link so they can request the mapping"
Well I'm sorry for not giving the things you guys are asking-- But I'm the customer, you support teams are supposed to help me with my problem, not dodge my question and shoving the "share your account link so we can request this mapping" instruction in my damn face many times in a row without acknowledging everything else I've said!

I originally loved Jumpstr for the quick turnover rate in getting my music onto Spotify and other platforms. However for some reason of late every track I've uploaded has come back rejected with a copyright issue attributed. I've done nothing different than what I've done before when my music passed the pre-release process. What has changed to make this happen I'm genuinely confused

It's perfect. No payment needed and this good. I love it

These guys are great. They posted my song to Spotify and a whole bunch of other streaming platforms for free. If you have worked with any other streaming platforms, you realize this deal can't be beat and you are thankful. Thanks Jumpstr. I am looking forward to many future years of contributing to your community.
