We asked just gas to service our gas…
We asked just gas to service our gas fire,and told them that the clicker igniter was not working,
They sent someone along,He was the most incompetent person I have ever met,I had to explain to him what a clicker igniter was,he said (how do you light the fire)..WHAT ???There is only one button,
He stripped the fire down,then said ( I have got to go and get a smoke bomb,He left and we never saw him again !!
He left the fire stripped down...and ran,What a Coward !!
I phoned just gas,they came up with a poor excuse...He had to go to another job,
THE FACTS ARE THAT HE WAS AN IDIOT WHO DIDNT HAVE A CLUE !!!
We have been left with a stripped down fire.
DO YOU REALLY WANT THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOUSE AND NO MASK !!! Enough said.

Not a good experience
Not a good experience. The gas fitter arrived late, was very unfriendly and having smelled a gas leak, capped off the meter and went home with no follow up arranged. He proposed replacing a length of pipe which was not the one with the leak. The boss had to eventually sort things out. They were lightning quick sending their bill (within hours) but took multiple prompting over 6 wks to produce the vital gas safety cert. Definitely wouldn't use again.
July 2023 - Trader has just replied to the review after THREE YEARS!
Facts are disputed, and recollections may vary but three years delay speaks louder than words!

We are sorry you did not have a good experience with Just Gas.
In response to your comments, we were booked to arrive between 2pm and 4pm, we arrived at 3.04pm.
We were booked for a boiler service and to remove a gas fire, after removing the gas fire we discovered a gas leak which we have an obligation to make safe, which we did. Unfortunately, we did not have the time that day to trace and repair the leak as this was an unexpected issue which we hadn't accounted for when scheduling our day. We unfortunately had no time available to return and rectify the issue for 7 days, which, we agree is a long time to wait and is longer than we would have hoped as well, and for this we do apologise.
The gas safety cert you mentioned was never ordered, nor paid for, just demanded once we had completed the work. We supplied this free of charge for you.
