We were initially hesitant to go with JustMortgages as they charge a fee, where others may not. However, with them having worked very closely with our estate agent and also the developer of our property, we decided to go with them. And today we received our mortgage offer! These mortgage brokers do not appear to understand the FCA rules .My experience was with South East region & Kent . ,
I noticed that the brokers compliance was seriously lacking and would not put my trust in obtaining mortgage advice from these guys .
I worked for Barclays for 10 years & understand duty of care .
Just mortgages came across as commission motivated & hard selling to the extreme ,

I am buying my first home with my mom with this agency HAART. No doubt they are very professional and my mortgage advisor ARY is so so so good helpful very understanding to what you actually need and does the best to get you thru your mortgage. He goes out of his way to help and he has helped me to get my mortgage. I must say very respectful human and I would highly recommend ARY PRASHER for any mortgage advice best person.

Happy one year & one month anniversary to the time Jonathan Leyshon asked us to pay a solicitor he knows money and said he would help us buy a house. We haven't heard from him or Darlows estate agents since despite going into the branch multiple times, calling and emailing. Last we heard 'there are no properties.'

Jonathan pressured us to pay within days of meeting him and I regret being naive and new to buying property.

Do not hand over any money to him/ solicitors he tells you to pay urgently/ Spicketts Battrick.

I couldn’t be happier with the service Joe Burns provided for me. He recently got me a mortgage on my new property which wasn’t easy but he worked tirelessly, keeping me informed throughout the whole process. He also recommended a great solicitor which proved to be very helpful. I would fully recommend for anything mortgage related.

Ary helped me get my first mortgage and 5 years later, when it came to the end of a very low interest rate, I was anxious and frankly terrified, but Ary helped and guided me through the process and into a 2 Yr fixed rate which I can manage. Ary is very professional, knowledgeable and I definitely would recommend his services!!

Terrible experience with this company, everything was great until I paid the fee they wanted and suddenly all communication stopped. Then after the solicitor they recommended sent me some documents to sign telling me I had the mortgage offer I got an email 3 days later from just mortgages saying my solicitor still needed proof of mortgage and gave me an incorrect date for searches. I emailed back to straight away receive another one saying they get their information from the solicitor so they were not to blame. Then when I sent them the email from the solicitor showing the contradictory information and pointing out that I had tried to get hold of my mortgage advisor for weeks and I was unhappy then all messages stopped again.
I am also dubious about the solicitors they recommended as they seem to be asking for more and more money at every stage. As a first time buyer I am left feeling like I’ve been taken advantage of.
I would not use this company or the solicitors they recommend.

I had a great experience with both my broker and mortgage administrator at JM. Simon Davis moved very quickly and kept me posted throughout the process, making sure we found the best deal possible. Emma Rae was a great administrator who helped me manage the paperwork required and she also kept me posted throughout the process. There was a lot of back and forth with my application and my different sources of freelance income etc so I am aware that Simon and Emma worked behind the scenes to get my time sensitive application over the line.
