Isn't it funny how two honest support workers first report on this company and it's truly toxic employees and Directors and then a flood of wooers come in!!

This company of 3 directors (who make me sick) use LAC's as "cash cows". By principle.

Believe me not and it infuriated me so as WTF you would get a message on the group wats app where a new young broken homed person (child) was called a 'package'!?!?!

I quiried this term with my line managers often. It's like the most horrible way you can call a young person coming into these 3 bent cash cow directors bank accounts.

Where do you start?
The level of communication from management is horrendous, the blame game is rife, directors who are: bullies, smiling assassins, no confidentiality, like to judge others on how they look and dress and can not manage a good team if they tried. One director sits on his phone and barks orders but doesnt know Monday to Tuesday, another director who you couldnt trust if you paid her too and the third who like to play the middleman but is just the puppet master.

This business can't hold office staff because of how they treat them, one rule for one and a rule for the other, the work culture is enough to push anyone over the edge - expected to work in silence - if you talk, walk, eat or breathe your pulled in and spoken to like you are 5 years old.

The pay for the job is disgusting and you are not compensated for the eggshells you walk on being in there.

Unable to deal with major complaints and are very happy to cover mistakes over and over again.

Cons of the role: Walk out deflated and poor mental health. Always made to feel you are not good enough.

I have worked on the children & young people's side of the company for over the past year. The properties that the company lets for our young people are of a high quality and are often commented on by Social services, Parents and new starters to the company. The support for staff is second to none. I have done this job role in different company's over the past 5 years, and the support that staff are offered within this company is far superior to that anywhere else I have worked. Office staff go above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure staff and YP needs are met. Cannot be faulted, fantastic company to work for.

Just ONE is a very professional and reliable company. I highly recommend them, whenever I spoke to someone from Just ONE whatever the department they were very helpful.

Iv worked for Just one for 4 years now and have loved it and I have had the pleasure of working in a few of the houses they are supporting and the guys that we support are a pleasure to work with. Love all aspects of their policies always supporting the individuals to enable them to live as independently as possible and to reach their personal goals , so it’s very rewarding. Always someone on call if you need advice and office are very accommodating if you ever have a problem or issue to deal with as they help and guide you. Also Understand the importance of work life balance for all support workers which is great .

I’ve been with Just One around a year now, it’s been a great experience. I’ve always wanted to work in care and I’ve found just one to be supportive in helping me adjust to my new role. The office staff are a delight to work for, always polite and realistic. They understand the work/life balance and very much work with you instead of dictating to you. The clients they have on their books are all friendly and again a delight to support. It’s not the job for everyone but if you have patience and people skills, just one provide a perfect opportunity to thrive in the sector. Easily one of the best companies I’ve worked for and I look forward to many years with them.
