Not enough words to describe the cost and hassle this company has been.
Constant delays, constant lies. Wrong colours, fires, damages, multiple wasted deliveries either wrong or not at all, glass missing, wrong brackets, the admin alone has cost me a fortune let alone materials to fix and cover so we can continue other work. Avoid this company at all costs. If identical windows are £1k more elsewhere, it’s still cheaper in real terms than ordering from this company.

Please do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs!

Our door / window delivery was cancelled AFTER the proposed delivery date, and was only delivered a week later (delaying the project further) AFTER we had to chase them down.

When they were finally delivered, upon inspection we found a ridiculous amount of scratches, dents and in general the quality was absolutely horrendous. We knew we were getting 'value' doors but this was as if they'd sent us a very old set of doors / windows that had been got out of a skip.

Their solution? A touch up pen. Which they've said is within their rights as the goods are bespoke.

But we know our rights, and goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described — even if bespoke. If not we are entitled to a refund.

They are refusing a refund, and so we will be pursuing through the small claims court.

So please. Save yourself the hassle of a ruined project and look elsewhere!!

I ordered single-pane annealed glass from Just Value Doors on 14th June. I received no confirmation email, so I called them and was told the glass would be delivered on 10th July. That date came and went—no delivery, no update. I followed up multiple times over the following two weeks, and each time was told they were “contacting the supplier” with no idea where the glass was.

Eventually, the glass randomly arrived on 23rd July—again, with no prior notice or delivery confirmation.

Upon inspection, every piece of glass had etched manufacturing codes and logos clearly visible in the top right corner. This made the glass unsuitable for my intended use, which is traditional putty-glazing where edges remain exposed on the inside. Etching like this is not legally required for annealed (non-safety) glass, and nowhere on their website does it say that etched markings will be present on single-pane units.

When I raised this, I was told they wouldn’t issue a refund because the glass “isn’t faulty” and the etching would be hidden with glazing beads and is legally required. That might be true for safety glass, but I ordered annealed glass, which doesn’t legally require markings. They even tried to tell me I should have informed them of how I planned to install it!

In short:
• Terrible communication
• Delayed and untracked delivery
• Misleading product info
• Refusal to refund a clearly unsuitable and misrepresented product

Avoid this company if you’re ordering glass, especially for traditional window restoration or putty-glazing work. They clearly lack product knowledge and fail to take responsibility

I’ll admit when I’m wrong and there is a section on checkout for custom notes (not specific to the item which I’d expect on the customisation page of the item!)

Over the last 2 weeks I actually inspected the delivered glass especially the etching and noticed I was incorrectly delivered toughened glass. (So the glass was correctly etched for what it was and legally required it as it was safely glass) back to my issue bottom line is it wasn’t what I ordered. Just value doors has issued me a full refund based on this.

This whole process has taken over two months!!!

My door arrived and looked great but there was a missing part only visible after fitting. Calls to Simon, Pip and Katie eventually convinced them there was fault and they pulled out all the stops to rectify it. A great recovery guys, well done. First class customer service.

I dealt with Nick Brook who was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Working for a developer I found their online quotation system super easy, but it was the extra special attention Nick was able to give with some detailing which made the experience so positive. I asked lots of questions and he was able to give me the answers I needed. Have no doubt that the products will live up to the level of customer service received. We will return for our next project.

My interreaction with Nick, Customer Services, was top notch. He sorted my request quickly and was most pleasant with it. If all customer service personnel were as good life would be good.
