Honestly I was hesitant about ordering from JW Pei due to the many negative reviews and experiences people have encountered with the company, but I realized everyone will have different experiences and as a new customer I shouldn’t judge until I was given a reason to.

I had been scrolling past ads from this company on Instagram and Facebook so out of curiosity I went to their website and found some really cute products that I thought I needed to have. I bought 3 bags of which all I LOVED. Delivery and shipping was quick (actually faster than other orders I made online), however one of the items arrived in the wrong colour. I reached out to customer service; they were helpful and quick to respond to my questions about getting the correct item. They offered to resend me the bag no problem. Overall, my experience with JW Pei has been nothing short of amazing and I will continue to buy from them.

Again, everyone’s experiences are different. I’m speaking from my own as a new buyer, and if you are too I encourage that you read reviews first and base your action on your instinct.

The bag arrived two days after I ordered it!! Everything looks great, nicely packaged, good quality! I'm very happy with my order!

Was very weary of buying from here after reading the reviews below but I took the risk and I’m glad I did! I ordered two bags on the 25th and they arrived today, a lot sooner than I expected! Super impressed with the quality, literally looks like a designer bag, packaging is lovely also. I really recommend this brand and will be ordering from them again very very soon!

It was quite a while ago now that I bought a bag from here. It was pricier than I would have liked but decided to treat myself. When it arrived the quality was awful. It looked really cheap and the gold bits looked almost yellow.
The return instructions were quite a faff, so I never even ended up returning it.
Wouldn’t recommend.

The bag was a gift for my daughter, it arrived quickly because I paid extra for shipping so the order total was $50.55(purse itself was $39.00, plus a "discount code made it $33.15) Then my daughter got a bill from DHL for $51.43 in duty fees to the US on a purse that cost $33.15. So their 33.15 plastic purse will end up costing $101.98 DON'T BUY from them. SCAM

My two handbags never came but I am giving four stars for their services, satisfied with the smooth refund!

I've have order around 7 handbags now. Each time I am been extremely happy with the quality and price. No issue with smell either. I own many high end bags but the fashion changes so quickly these days that sometimes I just want the latest style without spending a tone. When I first order from them a year ago the bags took weeks to come to the UK. However this issue seems to have beens resolved as I order a bag this month ( December) and it arrived in a day and a half! I was so amazed. I have not had to return anything so I dont know what that would entail.
I have introduced my friends to the brand who are also happy so highly recommended here!

This is related to the shipping. I ordered a bag for my partner long before Christmas and they claimed “order now it will arrive before Christmas”. Long story short it still has not arrived. I understand these days things take time but do not promise things you cannot deliver. (Quite literally).

strongly disregard delivery dates. The parcel goes from China for 40 days, while the track number for half a month is not updated. support does not help at all, only writes standard letters that you need to wait. I do not recommend ordering from them.

Ι ordered 2 bags from Greece. I received them 15 days after my purchase, exactly as mentioned. The result was great, i really loved them both and i will definitely buy again!!

I was nervous to purchase after reading some of the reviews but after a pleasant first experience, I've re-ordered from them several times and even bought a couple of their bags as gifts for friends. The quality is great for the price and they look so much better than bags I have bought from high street brands for the same price. Shipping can take a little while (around 2 weeks to the UK) but I didn't find this to be an issue.

I was honestly a bit scared after reading the reviews but I received the bags within 2-3 weeks which isn’t bad during the holidays. The bags are pretty good quality and I genuinely will be buying again.

My daughter purchased from you and the items were marked as delivered. THEY WERE NOT delivered and the company says there is NOTHING they can do other than offer her the opportunity to REPURCHASE the items at a discounted cost. What a crock of BS and what SHODDY business practices. SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY

I bought the envelope crossbody bag in black (with the wide strap) and I wanted to purchase other bags I had my eyes on but after reading mixed reviews I thought I would just stick with one bag and see how it goes.

Pleasantly surprised by how fast it arrived. The website says JW Pei is LA based, but shipping was from China. Ordering it to the UK, I thought it would take a while, but it arrived in 5 days!

The bag comes in a beautiful marbled box along with a dust bag, which is handy.
The bag itself looks so chic! It’s very sturdy, and the quality is quite nice. The hardware is a bit yellow, not sure if it’s the same for other bags on the website with gold hardware but I’m glad I got the bag with the wide strap instead of the chain strap, as I’m not particularly keen on yellow gold. If you prefer a more muted gold or rose gold, it’s something to keep in mind.

Overall I think JW Pei is great, and after a good first time experience I think I’ll be purchasing again soon. They always have sales so it’s definitely worth trying out.

My order was shipped on the 23rd November, and i received it today (4th December) which i think is very fast shipping considering it is shipped from China; under 2 weeks!

The bag itself is absolutely stunning, its the best quality bag i have ever purchased ( i ordered the Lillian bag in black). The packaging feels very luxurious, i was blown away by how high end it looks and feels.

Long story short, if you're considering buying from jw pei, i would definitely recommend them.

Product arrive timely; however, the bag I purchased was significantly smaller than the bag pictured on the website. For the price, the bag was absolutely not worth it. Please look at the dimensions before you purchase - I usually rely on pics but clearly the photos on the site are false advertisement.

I've ordered twice before and was really pleased with the quality. Recently ordered again and one of the bags I received was wrong. I was scared it would be hard to get the issue resolved b/c of some of the poor reviews but I contacted the customer service team and they were super helpful. Really good response times (24 hrs) and they processed a replacement order of the correct item I was meant to receive, whilst allowing me to keep the wrong bag. Can't wait to recieve my correct bag and really pleased with how they handled this!

I was nervous ordering after reading the bad reviews but my experience was 100% positive. I live in London and the bag arrived 11 days after placing my order.
The bag looks more expensive than it actually is and is good sturdy quality.
It came with a box and dustbag.

Update: I have had this bag for 2 years now and I absolutely ADORE it! I have received so many compliments every time I wear it. Looks so much more expensive than it is and I've had no quality issues. Thank you!
I have bought a 2nd bag as well from them.

I didn't have any problems with delivery except when Hermes left it outside my door and did not ring the bell when clearly we're all home all day because of lockdown.
Nonetheless, the bag is really lovely, I agree that its smaller than I imagined it to but its great.

Unfortunately me and 2 other friends of mine ordered in total 4 bags and i honestly never recieved them. It always said on the shipment tracking website that it was delivered, and i was home the whole time, and didnt get anything. So i contacted them and instead of starting an investigation they told us that they are gonna send them again and the same thing happened again. So i dont know if its a trick but i am still waiting on a refund from them and i hope that it actually happens but honestly i dont recommend buying after 40 days of waiting and never receiving anything.
