Product delivered - by PostNL - but arrived completely broken. I got a refund, but Jysk refused to take the product back. I was told to dispose of it myself, which would cost the same or even more than the product itself! Not good service. Never again.
Let me save you weeks of frustration: DON’T BUY FROM JYSK.
What was supposed to be a simple order for a 180x200 bed and mattress turned into a logistical farce. It’s now been over a month, and I’m still missing a part of my order, and that’s after receiving the WRONG items not once, not twice, but THREE times.
Here’s what happened:
First, they sent me a 160x200 mattress, even though I clearly ordered a 180x200.
Then they sent another completely wrong item.
After weeks of useless email ping-pong and empty apologies, I finally got the right mattress.
But guess what? No protective cover.
I followed up. They sent me a top-mattress cover that has nothing to do with the main mattress.
I asked again. I waited. They sent me the wrong item AGAIN.
And yes, even after clarifying, sending photos, explaining it over and over they STILL haven't sent the correct cover with handles for the main 180x200 mattress.
JYSK's customer service is completely incompetent, borderline non-existent, and clearly doesn’t read what you write. It feels like I'm talking to a wall or worse, bots trained to give irrelevant, copy-pasted replies. No ownership, no urgency, no solution.
To make things worse:
I had to call their Dutch-speaking call center, because the French line is a black hole, unreachable most of the time.
That means international phone charges just to chase them for their own mistakes.
I had to reorganize my work, explain to my manager why I’m stuck working from home, just to receive the wrong item again.
And I’ve been sleeping for weeks on an unprotected mattress while they play customer service roulette.
This is not bad service, this is a company that fundamentally doesn’t care.
Their logistics are a clown show. Their support team is disconnected from reality.
And their treatment of paying customers is shameful.
JYSK should be ashamed to call itself a retailer.
Unless you enjoy chaos, being ignored, losing time and money, and yelling into the void : STAY AWAY.

Went to Leeuw St Pieters store to buy a Kastbjerg chair. They had it in stock but not in the showroom. The two girls at the counter said they could not show me the chair or even open the box. Useless service. Left in disgust. Won't go there again. Prefer IKEA at any time.

I ordered a plaid on 31 january online so in sales period
Confirmation mail is mentioning that i have to wait a confirmation mail and sms that ready to pick up in the shop
6 days later still no news. Calling shop several times. No answer. Then finally someone to answer my question. Oh should be forgotten. No prob come along there is still one available. Come within 2 days for same conditions.
Same day to the shop and there same girl is telling me that the 2 days are expired because order was done 31 january...and the colour is not available...and the promo price is not valid anymore.
Why not telling me all this on the phone ? Why let me go there 45 min driving there and back for nothing ! Really unacceptable

I ordered a gnome as a christmas present. Pretty sure I received one that was used as it had traces of last years decorations and seemed to be simply thrown in a box without any care whatsoever. Unless the website clearly mentions it is a used item, I expect to get new items. Disapppointed and won’t be buying anything here again. Won’t be making anyone happy with this one.
I am deeply frustrated with my experience at Jysk’s Korbeek-Lo branch. I placed an order for a boxspring bed and headboard on 18-07-2024, but the process has been a nightmare. Despite being told the order would be ready in two weeks, I faced multiple delays and repeated follow-ups. After picking up the items, I discovered that the wrong headboard was provided and the top mattress was missing!!! Even after several visits to the store, I was told the headboard in my chosen color was unavailable and a different option would cost 85 euros more!!! After over a month, four trips, and significant lost time, I still don’t have the bed I ordered. This experience has been completely unacceptable.
I bought a table and a couch at JYSK Hognoul. The table I ordered was “wood color” but I received a white one… And the couch structure was broken when I received it.
I immediately contacted the after sales service… but, one month later, I haven’t receive any new materiel yet, nor got any information on the new delivery delay… and they don’t want to cancel my order and send me my money back !
One advice : do not buy anything from this terrible shop !! You will regret !!
I have ordered and paid for a computer chair over a month ago. I was told it would be delivered within ten days. It has since been 30 days and the chair hasn't arrived yet. I have called three times already and was told each time there was a slight delay and the chair will arrive thay week, then haven't heard from them. Obviously if I had known the delivery would take a month I would have gone to another shop.
I don't know if the customer service is incompetent or bad willed but they give the same standard answer to any question you ask. After a useless exchange with them I went to jysk.nl and bought what I needed from a shop in NL. The same issue was solved in less than a minute. I won't be surprised if jysk.be will close, judging by the level of service they provide.
I made three orders on their website and it was always a positive experience. My orders anlways arrived on time with PostNL and never damaged. Their furnitures are always easy to make and they always put small tools inside. The instructions are very clear and the quality is really great too.
As UX/UI designer, I just wish that they will modernize their website and newsletters very soon.
Nice and helpful staff. Affordable furniture, it would be nice if they had a bit more assortment.
