Good service

Good service. Friendly staff. I ordered online and picked up at the store myself and checked the camera before I leave the store. The staff is very friendly.

Unfortunately I can't give 0 star but i would love to. This shop seems like they thrive on scamming. I bought a used camera with them on Sunday, but didn't receive any confirmation email even tho the order was visible in my account. I sent them an email. They replied they already sold it to someone else but if i want to buy it i can buy a not used camera for much more expensive.
I hope they get shut down soon. Scammers.

I ordered a camera support at 27.05.2024 after discussed with customer service about availability. Product was available. Shipment in 2-3 days. Today 03.06 I didn't receive it. Supplier very bad. Cusotmer service also

Reading bad reviews is always a 50/50 thing

The guys over at KameraExpress were awesome. I got everything I needed and the customer support thus far has been nothing short of great.

Before I placed my orders, I made the “mistake” of looking at the bad reviews…🤦‍♂️
It is true that a SINGLE bad review can kill a companie’s reputation and business as well…had the items I ordered not have been relatively low in price, I wouldn’t have placed my order at all. I would have just seemed another business….

Anyway, I recommend them. My customer experience has been awesome so far.

Very dissapointing experience

Very dissapointing experience. Traded my X-T4 for a second hand Lumix S5 at the store and asked them to send it to my address as they don’t have it in the store (Amsterdam). After waiting for an hour I didn’t got any email confirmation or receipt , then I found out after 2 hours of trying calling their customer services that the store staff took a wrong spell of my email address. Asked the customer service to send me a receipt and got nothing so I just went back to their physical store to get it myself. Very inconvenience! It’s like my effort of trying to explain them the problem and calling them for hours goes for nothing! Now it’s been almost 5 days and I still don’t have the camera I traded my X-T4 for. I don’t have any information about it as they aren’t sending anything about it, no track and trace and whatsoever! So I called them about where is it. And they said it will be sent to their NL warehouse as the camera are from their germany store/warehouse! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ I thought I can get it before weekend as I really need the camera for my shoot that scheduled on weekend.

This is my first time doing business with them and probably the last!

I say i’ll stick with CameraNu or Cameraland even FotodeVakman is doing better than them despite being much relatively small company!

Finally a new camera!

Finally a new camera!

The big day was finally there; my wife and I drove to Kamera Express at the Boomsteenseweg in Antwerp to buy a new camera.

We've had some bad luck with our previous camera (Sony alpha 5000) that kept breaking down resulting in disproportional repair costs. That's why we wanted to consult a professional sales-person this time rather than buying a new camera online.

The shop is quite spacious and we noted that besides a camera-shop, there is also a service for rental of professional equipment. The showroom was not particularly fully filled by different camera's (brands), parts or accesoires; it seemed the shop had made a pre-selection. There were three sales-men behind the desk, respectfully taking the time to help out each customer.

After a short wait we were assisted by Paul. He listened carefully to our needs and asked a few questions before recommending us the 'optimal option'; a serious step-up from our previous camera but still suiting our budget. We didn't feel pressured at all and were comforted by the expertise Paul clearly had, answering all questions we could come up with.

After exploring a few alternatives we felt the need to sit down and discuss our desicion. Luckily the shop facilitates this by offering a couch and a (free) coffee corner. We took our time and felt no rush at all. At some point more customers showed up and somewhat of a cue started to form. Finally we made the decision to go for the first recommendation of Paul. We entered in the waiting cue and unfortunately had to wait ca. 20 minutes before Paul was available again; because of our first encounter we preferred not to go to one of his colleagues.

Beside the camera (Sony alpha 6400) and lense (Sigma18-50mm F/2.8), we also bought a proper and sturdy camera bag for protection, some extra memory cards and an insurance for theft and damage. Prices were comform (online) competitors. Again no pressure at all; this was our idea. We left the shop quite excited and couldn't wait trying out. In the following days we've shot the most beautiful photos, experimenting with the settings. Just in time before our baby arrives....!

Overall we're very happy with the service, the recommendation and the sold product. We also feel secure with the insurance and believe the paid price is fair (comparable to online shops). Therefore we give 5 stars in this review. We can recommend this shop and Paul (and colleagues) for anyone seeking professional and independent advice.

Bad customer service

I ordered some equipment online, which would be delivered to my home adres in Amsterdam. Didn't arrive, got delivered somewhere else. I called Kamera express, who said, we can't do anything about this and then shifted the responsibility onto me. When I questioned this, I was told again, that they can't help me, I need to contact the delivery service and sort it out myself. Luckily there are other photo shops around.

Ordered a studio light set with two…

Ordered a studio light set with two lights, but one bulb was faulty. Contacted customer service, and they promised a replacement. After waiting for 10 working days without any delivery, I called again. They apologized, citing forgetfulness, and assured me of a new shipment in a few days. The delay and lack of initial action were disappointing. Not sure if I'd choose this company again.

Customer service quickly fixing issues

Update: the later customer personal contacted me about the issue below fixed issue very quickly, instead of telling me just wait more. Much appreciated!

I must say I was not expecting this disappointment from Kamera Express. First I ordered on Friday but it is not delivered next day as Kamera Express promised and written on the website. It was 29th December. I understood it is holiday season, delay is reasonable. Then 31st December is Sunday And 1st January is public holiday, of course I was not expecting delivery since no one is working. Now it’s 2nd January, I called POST NL asking for the delivery time on my package with the tracking information provided by Kamera Express. POST NL told me the package is not being received.

When I contact Kamera Express about the order and delivery, the customer service on the phone was polite but telling me somehow ridiculous information, first he tried to push the responsibility to POST NL, says POST NL already picked up package and lying to me, I told him I have contacted POST NL, then he started to tell me maybe the warehouse of kamera express is busy.

then customer service told me He knows KameraExpress promise next day delivery, but it’s a promise and ask me should not expect too literal :/

I kindly asked customer service to find out if the camera is really handover to POST NL or what is going on.

I surely was not expecting this when I placed order, the customer services was so kind before I purchase. But now…

Never buy something from them

I called on Thursday to buy a gimbal for my camera. They had it in stock in Gent, so I call to make sure I can pick it up the next day. I placed the order via the website and I called again, to make sure things are done well. After I was assured 2 times that I can pick it up the next day, Friday morning surprise... They didn't even had it on stock. Plus that guy Stijn was very apathetic, didn't care too much and I can say that as a seller he was quite rude. I went from Blankenberge (one hr driving and one hr back) for nothing. I'll never buy something from them. CAMERANU are way friendlier!
LE: I told your colleague, that she said it will reserve it for me, that I will place the order and I pay it on the spot to make things easier. Again, Stijn could have solve easily the problem, but he lacked the motivation or the brain. I tend to believe it's the first. I explain the situation twice I even called customer service, and a lady checked on the computer and she said there were no outgoings of the gimbal in the last days, but how could she or Stijn not see there was one somewhere in the stock and reserved for... Surprise... Me!

I also listened to the conversation you had with my colleague and there must be a misunderstanding. Because she has made the reservation for you to pick it up the next morning, however you also ordered in online. When you order online it can not be in the store the next day. This might be the reason for some confusion in the store.

Super Webshop

Super Webshop, where you can get a lot of infos over the products. The customer service is also very kind and helpful. It is my third time that I ordered a product from kamera express and I was always happy with the outcome of it. Last time I have ordered a Canon Extender RF 2x for my camera. It works perfectly with my Canon 100-400 prime lens, so I am happy with the outcome of my purchase by kamera express.

Good advice and good service

Good advice and good service. Too bad the second hand circuit isn't working well, because they lost track of the camera I was going to get. Did manage to buy another discounted one, luckily.
