I’m a 2 time Rolex owner, submariner date, and submariner 50th. anniversary, purchased in 1996 and 2006 respectively. Both watches were earmarked by my 2 nephews for College Graduation gifts, no problem. Fast forward to 2020, both watches are now with my nephews, so I started looking for another submariner date. WOW, little did I know how much the demand had grown. I called my AD, they pulled my record and said we’ll call if we get one in, but you might want to develop a relationship. What! I said, you mean 2 prior purchases doesn’t count? Basically yes!! Undeterred, I even called AD’s in Switzerland, no luck.

Then I happened upon Kara’s Watches. They had a new, unworn, 41mm, submariner date for sale. Now, I was extremely concerned about buying from a non AD. I throughly checked out everything I could on the company before I called and talked to Shane. Right off the bat I voiced my concerns and worries to Shane. He was extremely understanding and basically put me in the drivers seat. He answered all of my questions, and there were many, and answered all emails in a timely manner and the multiple phone calls I made. I can’t say enough about Shane. When we sealed the deal, I explained to him that I was going to take the watch to the Rolex Service Center in Beverly Hills, for a insurance appraisal. We both didn’t know how long that was going to take, but Shane said no problem. He had told me several times that if I’m not 110% satisfied that this watch was new, unworn, just return it for a complete refund.

In closing, I got my watch back, as most Rolex owners know, if Rolex see’s a non Rolex in its shop, red lights and sirens go off. From the start, Shane guaranteed me the authenticity of this submariner and it turned out to be true. All I can say to whom ever reads this, Shane is 100%, as is Kara’s Watches. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in making a luxury watch purchase.
