I had been let down by another Smith when purchasing a Nagamaki as a gift.
The one I got from Katanamart was sent out to me promptly and was of impeccable quality.

Ordered a training katana, and it’s a solid design with excellent weighting and balance. I’d highly recommend those who may not be able to order a katana directly from Japan; pricing is reasonable and accessible for those on a budget. Importing was also made easy, and the katana also came with a certificate of authenticity. Would buy again.

I've bought two swords from Katanamart and I have to say I love both of the swords that I purchased. They are very well made swords both are beautiful, well balanced, solid, and reasonably priced. The communication between use was excellent they are very kind and thoughtful. Just a great company to buy a sword from I highly recommend this store if you want a great quality Katana. Really struggled to get affordable training equipment for Iaido and Katana Mart was recommended to me. They had a good selection of products covering a multitude of applications, from kata to kenjutsu and for cutting, allowing me to pick a product suitable for what I was looking to use it for, at a price I wanted to pay.

Wonderful pieces. Quality is suburb. They also have a lot of interchangeable options.
