I had previously bought an Iaito, having taken up Iaido. I already owned a Shinken which i had on display for some years.The Iaito took ages to arrive 6 weekd or more.
I believe the manufaturer assembles these to order.hence the delay. My shinken uad been made to order by another company.
Funnily ,in the case of the sharp Wakizashi that i bought, i had to delay delivery as a result of holiday absence.
The wakizashi was delivered a few days after my return. Excellent service. Thank you
