Would not recommend Kenberne Doncaster

Would not recommend Kenberne Doncaster. They state on their website they will price match. I contacted them to price match a washing machine which Kenberne has advertised at £649 and other retailer has it advertised at £399. Kenberne refused to price match. I will be speaking to trading standards.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. Sean was particularly rude and clearly in need of some training. If he represented my company he would not be working for me anymore. If you happen to have ordered something from here I’d cancel straight away and save yourself the inevitable argument and attitude you will get from this individual. Dave (boss) needs to reconsider the type of people he employs to go into peoples homes. I try and local support businesses as I believe in doing so, however in future, I will spend my money in curry’s instead.

Excellent company with first class…

Excellent company with first class service. I needed a drain filter for my washer. They didn’t stock the filter but within 20 minutes they had identified the part and got one for me. Excellent service. Thank you

Terrible after service

Terrible after service. Supplied and fitted wrong door seal on washer, took 4 revisits to rectify. By which time kitchen Lino was sodden and ripped due to copious amounts of water being dumped from the washer on each wash cycle after it was “fixed”, Company did replace the Lino but 6 and half weeks of inconvenience, mess, costs incurred, which have not and will not be reimbursed tells me never to use this company again.

Poor customer service

Couldn’t fault the company’s service at point of sale however after sales are a different matter. We bought an American style fridge freezer from them but after just over a week the ice machine stopped producing ice, I telephoned in the morning mainly to just ask for advice, the chap that answered the phone was polite enough but basically didn’t want to help & told me the person I needed was out on a delivery & he’d get him to ring me when he got back, by 4.30 I was annoyed that no one had bothered to ring back so I rang them, I explained the situation again & that at the point of purchase we’d been told by the owner not to register it with the manufacturer for a year because if there were any issues he would sort it & therefore we would get 2yrs warranty effectively, the person on the phone told me that he shouldn’t have said that & had I done the trouble shooting in the booklet, yes I had, was there a problem with our plumbing, no there isn’t, after a fractious telephone call he eventually called the owner who apparently said that he’d register it with beko & arrange a service call, that was the end of the conversation between boss & employee, however when I was told this I couldn’t remain calm because this wasn’t what we were told when we bought it ie any problems he’d sort it, I was also told that if the engineer couldn’t find anything then we would have to pay, when I reiterated the conversation he told me he was ending the telephone call because I was talking over him & he was trying to help, he never at any point offered to help & patronisingly kept calling me my love !! Would a male customer be referred to in the same manner ? in the end I ended the call because I was getting no where & more & more annoyed, I asked them to ring back today & talk to my husband who is a lot more tolerant of fools than I am, unsurprisingly no phone call from them but we’ve had one from an engineer that we neither wanted or requested, they are rude & customer service is seriously poor, I will not use again or recommend

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service - an initial error on our part meant there was a delay in organising another washing machine for us. However, after THREE months of waiting and a myriad of excuses, the person with whom we were dealing failed on numerous times, to keep in touch and was not willing to talk about a discount for the way we had been treated: he took it upon himself to cancel the order. Very poor.
Their subsequent reply on the shop's website confirms their appalling attitude - it is inaccurate (I did not ask for a refund, just some compensation and I was not the one who cancelled the transaction, they did. No mention of the THREE month delay either or an apology). Looking at other reviews, when they are good and there are no problems, they really are good but when it goes wrong (plenty of evidence of that, btw), it's everyone's fault but theirs.

Appliance purchase for new project

I called Kenberne after browsing their merchandise online to seek advice on the products before I bought. I was truly heartened by the amazing service I received from their staff. They were so accommodating helpful and informative. They addressed my questions which helped me find the right appliance for my needs and made the whole experience very easy and gave me peace of mind.
Thank you Kenberne for a fantastic caring customer service. I will definitely purchase again as service is everything to me.

Absolutely great service from a local…

Absolutely great service from a local company. Denise the sales lady advised us on dual range cookers and all the choices. Was not pushy at all left us to browse in the shop and was very very helpful. Ended up buying a beko dual fuel cooker and the 2 lads who delivered it were absolutely great. Very pleasant and polite. Brought new cooker in where we wanted and removed the old one. Great company. Great people and great local service. Would certainly recommend.

Excellent company, brilliant fast delivery. Lovely lads delivered and plumbed in our new washing machine.

Good price great service.

Washer conked out. Looked online and found a like for like replacement here. Rang up, ordered it, and it was delivered and fitted in two days. Including the cost of installation, and removal of the old machine, it still cost significantly less than the item only price from that place named after an S Asian lunch. Brilliant.

First Class Service

Next day they had engineer remove old one & fit new
Freezer 3 days later they collected old Freezer.

Having been let down by 2 large…

Having been let down by 2 large companies I rang about 10am to be told they had something similar to what I wanted on the showroom, he talked me through the model and it’s functions, and said it would be delivered late afternoon. It was only just lunch time when they arrived. And plugged it in (others charge a tenner just to do that).
So so happy. Thank you.

Do not use this company

Bought an electric hob on their website which claimed delivery within 7 days - they took the money immediately and no hob arrived. Tel no. on the website is for their shop - no customer service or ownership of the problem other than no action. After a month of phoning and emailing I wrote a letter asking to cancel the order and a refund - nothing. I had to get my money back through the credit card - lucky I used one. Do not use this company!
