Tony coordinated my move across London. He was extremely courteous and accommodating. The price agreed upon was entirely reasonable. Two people arrived for my move promptly, they worked quickly, efficiently and safely to disassemble and reassemble my furniture and nothing was damaged. Overall, excellent work. 10/10 would use again.

We contacted Kent Removals with a very last-minute and urgent removal request. It was an absolute pleasure to speak with Tony who was extremely friendly and in no time managed to find a solution to our problem.

Kent removal is a one of a kind Moving Company that cares about their customers and take pride in their work. Dennis is not only professional but also very friendly and responsive. Easy to deal with and excellent customer service. Recommended to all.

After reading positive reviews, I decided to get in touch with Kent Removals. they were quick to initially respond and seemed professional. They set up a Zoom meeting so they could look at my items in order to be able to provide an “accurate“ quote.

On the day of my move, I was charged £600 more than what I was quoted (this is 177% of what I was quoted). This is despite the fact that they had seen ALL my items.

Subsequent attempts to resolve the issue was unsuccessful. The person who had done the survey admitted that I had shown all the items that needed to be moved and said although it was his fault, “the manager was not budging” with no further explanation.

At this point, I looked at complaining to the Removals Ombudsman which regulates removal companies but realised that I can’t take my case to removal ombudsman because this company is not a member of them.

Having seen all the items which needed to be moved before being quoted and being charged 177% on the day of the move, this company at its best is incompetent or at worst they quote less than what the job is worth but on the day charge a lot more, either way I would never consider this company in future and wouldn’t recommend them at all. Please don’t be fooled by what you are quoted as this won’t be what you will be paying.
