Khana Prep is the first Meal Prep company that I have honestly found to be a sustainable replacement for those with a busy schedule. The food is not only very well spread in terms of macronutrients but it remains fresh for the full duration of the intervals. The variety in the menu leaves you never desiring more and it is something I see using for at least the next 12-24 months. I would like to thank the team for their consistency, dedication and amazing customer service!

First time ordering, got the delivery today tried the chicken shawarma, was soo good tasted fresh chicken wasn’t dry. Looking forward to try other foods.

Great quality food, guaranteed delivery on the set day. Menu is brilliant large selection to choose from, one improvement would be to add some sort of fish dishes.

This review is primarily for Muslim's (if you're ordering based on the food being halal). This is also relevant if you're ordering based on price.

I was contemplating ordering, however due to a discount, I thought I would try. First order was 35% off. This meant that each box roughly worked out to approx £4.50 to £5. I ordered the "diet" version of the food.

I ordered approximately 28 meals (to my dismay), hoping to try at least 2/4 of each of the meals. The website is a little confusing, where I ordered on a Tuesday, which was meant to get delivered on the Monday following, but came 3 days later (please consider this in your planning).

The food came in nicely packed recyclable styled boxes, however the greens (salad) also come incorporated into the same box and the sauce is in a little tub.

I can honestly say, I ultimately REGRET ordering the food, whilst all the boxes were approximately £4.50 to £5 each, they didn't taste like they were worth £1. Let alone £6-£7 at full cost.

The food is HORRENDOUS, dreadful and tasted bland. The chicken bits (didn't even taste like chicken) and the fat on the beef was not even cut off properly. I am unfortunately reluctant to chuck the left over food, and with dread, try and finish 1 box per day. Whilst there are those who are picky when ordering food, or their taste palate, I would recommend you order only 1x of each, and then have a go. Hopefully you will come to your own conclusion.

I personally would not buy this food again at 80% off permanently.

Allahu Allam (God Knows best), I have personally tried it (and still continuing) until the boxes finish.

The food is bland, tastes like cardboard and has little to no taste. You will struggle with your diet, if the only food you eat, tastes horrible.

The lovely chap did try and call me within a few days of cancellation, where he gave me the spiel; that the purpose of the prep is in order to save time (which I agree), but it should be about taste vs time. From the conversation that I had, they have okay customer service, but they need to consider the food again.

Great meal prep, will defo order from here often! Each meal is flavoured quite uniquely, and everything is nice and fresh and clean to eat. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quality meal prep. It’s also the only halal meal prep I’ve seen!

Wow, totally shocked by how tasty the food was! The flavours are amazing, a lot of thought has gone into the menu. I can't wait for the new menu, it looks delicious!

The concept and flavours are great but unfortunately the meals were extremely stale, chicken was hard and the rice seemed like it was cooked a few days ago and the salad/ veg had wilted. For a first time trial I was extremely disappointed, had high hopes for this.

Food came later than agreed, took longer to warm up than suggested. Otherwise, taste is nice, I can’t flaw it so far. Thank you

The delivery was a day late. Its because it was a bank holiday weekend but then they gave me a discount code to make up for it. The food was okay. My favourites were the beef wrap, butter chicken and honey chipotle chicken. But then they took the wrap out of the menu. Dips were good as well. I am indian and to my taste the food was bland. Other people might like it more than me. It was a relief to know that there is a halal food prep service.

Food is well packaged and did have some delivery issues. Would have prefered some vegetables to come with the meal rather than starchy carbs like potato. Flavouring isnt the best, had to add some additional seasoning. Overall it was ok and highly convenient. 5 stars as I don't like leaving bad reviews for businesses.
