BUYER BEWARE!!! Kia Greenway East ORLANDO

I went to Kia Greenway East in ORLANDO. I have a vehicle that is less it's than 3 years old and the back seat fabric is fraying at the seam in two places and in the EXACT SAME PLACE as the other seat.

This is the absolute worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Absolutely ZERO help. No one returns phone calls, even the sales manager!!

I was denied a repair for $600 because there is a defect in the sticking of the seat..

Jennifer, the District warranty manager for the state of Florida, denied my small repair

Josh, the service person I was assigned to never followed backup with me until I called him 3 and a 1/2 weeks later!

I asked to speak to the owner of the dealership or the general manager and no one would give me his name.

Instead they sent me to Jay who is the sales manager. He NEVER got back with me either. Nor did I ever hear from Geena, who is the service manager. After leaving numerous messages for these people to call me back, NO ONE bothered to Return any of my phone calls.

I did contact the corporate office who only pushed me back to the local dealership.. I've been having this run around for over 6 weeks.
I am absolutely disgusted with how I was treated And I hope they are all fired.

Do not ever go to this dealership. They are incompetent, and they absolutely DON'T CARE0 about the customer.

My issue is still unresolved! If I could have rated this a -100 for customer service I would have. Buyer beware!

After experiencing their lack of care first hand, I will never purchase their stock or recommend them.

I have been telling everyone to spread the word about Kia.

2014 kia sorento

Hello, I had a kia sorento 2014 v6 that I tried to claim a recall on for the engine block, they turned me away claiming there was no recall, I have a lisp and spoke over the phone this was 2 years ago, since then I had to replace the engine, transmission, alternator, the ac is currently out and gas door no longer opens which in this car is a 2000$ fix I have to leave it open, I had several more issues, I just got rid of It this month finally after spending 9 grand on its repairs over 2 years, and owing 10k on it still, then it turned out there was a recall and I voided the warrantee and recall by having it replaced myself... I been screwed over by kia and will never buy them again, I just got a 2018 ford fusion

Poor Customer Service at KIA Southside, JAX

I have been a loyal customer with KIA Southside of Jacksonville. I have owned 5 different KIA's since 2003. I have even referred people to buy a KIA.
I am having issues with my 2019 KIA Forte. The defroster and A/C are not working. I called the service department and was told they couldn't fit me in until a week later. I feel being a loyal customer for so many years should account for something but I was just a number and the girl didn't care about me or my issues. I am not referring people to KIA any longer and will take my business elsewhere. Not good customer service at all.

After they replaced my ignition system, the remote key fob didn't work at all, so when I took it back. They said it was a battery problem and they changed the battery, but unlocking the car still doesn't work. Always take a picture before taking your car in. They left oil stains on my car seats, blamed it on me, and didn't vacuum at all. After showing them the picture of the seat before taking it in, they removed the oil stain from the seat. In addition, I always had to call them to get a status in my car. All around bad customer service.

Love the car! Upset with finance department.

I absolutely loved my Kia Optima Turbo! It was the best! But it was time for a new car so when I paid off my car early so I could get my title and sell my car, unfortunately it was during the pandemic and my 3 month delay in getting my car title (since I paid it off online) with calls to the department every week was blamed on the government title office not being available. I was pretty upset mostly because of the way it was handled. Nobody could give me an answer as to why my title still was NOT being processed AT ALL for over 1 month. Those who answered my calls were all shocked. And those who tried to get me an answer, simply told me they would send the title department an email and I would have to call again in another week. I even tried to complain. To a manager. Somebody. There was NOOObody. Omg......
so yeah. Absolutely loved the car and would drive another one again! Except I don't recommend using their finance department. Pay for your car up front in any possible way!
And the location where I bought my car, their service department was horrible too. They lost my wheel lock key... and after my complaints, replaced it with a used one... or I could change it to no wheel locks. They also almost crashed my car twice in the parking lot of the service department cuz the guy driving my car, I am pretty sure he didn't have enough sleep and wasn't with it that day. I didn't see him there the next time I went a few months later. But that was nerve racking.
I give it 5 stars for the car. Zero stars for finance department. 2 stars for their service department cuz it was a hit or miss depending on the service rep.

Service Manager Review

I had a recall on my 2020 Kia Sportage and brought it into Century Kia in Tampa. My service manager assigned to me was Chris. I waited and waited for the email review but never received one. I just wanted Kia to know that Chris was great. He was one of a kind and took such great care of me. All the service advisors should be like him. He deserves a raise!! Thank you Chris and sorry it took so long for me to get to this. I appreciate you. You took great care of me and my Sportage.

My Kia Niro has been great

My Kia Niro has been great. I got the first year it released and apart from a couple of bumps along the way, it's been a reliable car. The dealer tried to upsell me, and also tried to dissuade me from buying electric, maybe because their profit margin is lower, who knows? I wish I had gotten a different color other than black now though. Love the car. Service has been good too.

Kia Sportage 2017

Hands down one of the best vehicles I have owned. The all wheel drive is amazing in the snow. It will get up and go when you need it to. With the 4x4 button, I never worry about getting stuck anywhere. Thanks to KIA for making an outstanding vehicle.

Dishonesty and Bad Business Practices from Kia

So, when I purchased by car from the Kia dealership, the finance manager told me that the $19K I would be financing would be at 6% interest, even though the advertised rate on their site is .9 to 2.9% and I was leaving a down payment of $11K. I balked. Well, they got it down to 4.5% and the finance manager said Kia corporate set the rates and it was out of his hands. I signed the papers even though I still wasn't happy with the %. The finance manager failed to charge my credit card before I left so legally/technically I could have said I already paid the down payment and all I would have had to do was show the signed papers. However, I'm not that kind of person. I did phone Kia Corporate Finance the very next day and spoke to 4 different Finance Supervisors at various times in the morning and they all told me the same story: The dealership sets the tiers and the interest rate on car loans. I phoned the dealership and the Finance Manager told me that whoever I was speaking with was wrong. Well, I went back and forth for a while between Corporate Finance and the Dealership, not getting a straight, verifiable answer from either party. I threatened to return the car. The finance manager again said it was Kia preventing them from lowering the rate. He finally got all of my credit scores from 3 reporting agencies (782) for all of them and was able to talk Kia into lowering the rate to 3.25% (weirdly on his report, it shows my credit score as 702 from TransUnion. I have no idea where he was getting his info). I still don't know who was being untruthful but I'll never buy another Kia product. If this is the way the company treats their customers, I would advise you to avoid them as well.

Careful with the paper work and more. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Bought my car in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada last March. InwIted almost 8’weeks. The Telluride was a new model to the lineup. Careful with the paper work. They aren’t too trustworthy. They are a car dealer after all. They made an error in basic additive math. That I eventually caught. Mostly cuz I didn’t want things written in scrap paper. Good lord. Seriously. Then They made an error in subtractive math later also.
Additionally, They don’t want to honour the warranty in Canada according to the manual in the car. They will say that Canada is “severe weather” (since when !) and the oil changes and maintenance should have been every 6000. Even though the manual clearly says 12000. Amd I was doing Every 8 already anyway. Cuz i didn’t trust the Kia oil. Which might be great for all I know. But when I asked to See It one time cuz the manual says specifically what standard must be used, it was not possible. Excuses. Exhausting. So get ready for trouble unless you get all this nonsense written down in advance and / or free maintenance checks for the warranty period. Also, TIRES! I tried to upgrade at sale. Was talked out of
It. Did my due diligence. They were seemingly right. The tires on my Telluride were rated good amd the warranty was 90000 km. So I was not worried. Guess what? Tires were done by 37700. And I am fifty with glasses and drive like it. I asked for new tires with a prorated price for my usage. Nope. They said that’s the tire company not them. Tire company says it’s Kia. I reported it to BBB, waiting
For an outcome. I suspect Kia is buying
Fake tires from China at a heavy discount. Extremely prevalent there. I know cuz I lived there many years They likely know it. No way can the real tires rated for 90000 be done before 38000. Lastly, I paid for the trailer wiring with the 7 harness amd not the factory 4. I bought the trailer towing package upgrade. I didn’t check when picking up car. Two months later I went to get my trailer in another city
Storage and guess what surprise I had? Yup, not a 7 pin wiring harness nor the brakes etc. Had to do it After market. Almost 800. So, I’m trying
To do that. Already paid 700 for the upgrade. That did not happen. Brutal! Be careful. Solid product. Good value for quality and build. Bit proceed with great diligence and check your boxes. Take your photos. Check and Double check. Including their math. This is what happens when Hyundai (famous for this stuff and more) buys Kia. I should have stuck with Toyota who I no issues with for 20 years.
PROCEED WITH CAUTION

kia scammers

As much as I like my new kia soul, I won't ever buy or refer anyone to buy a kia ever. The scams perpetrated at the denville NJ kia did me in. Showing me one price and putting a higher price in the contract without me seeing it ( they kept saying the computer wasn't working right) was the worst. Not telling me that the car was being delivered from pennsylvania was another long with all the usual tricks. If I want having car trouble that day, I would have left in the first hour.

Bad advertising.

Hello to all kia customer. Hello to kia advertisers. Why the heck would you guys waste money on a commercial of a car spinning on a ramp. Why would you send that kind of message out to the public. Do you guys have any clue that young drivers see this. Can't you demonstrate speed without a car flying in the air. Omg smh.

I met with a salesman to buy a new Kia…

I met with a salesman to buy a new Kia K-5. He gave me a print out with the price and told me the discount he could give me. I told him I was going to check the price with other dealers and get back to him. I called the next day and said we had a deal. I asked him to send me confirmation of the price including the discount he quoted me. This car was for delivery in a few months. He started to tell me that incentives might change by that date. I told him I wanted to lock in the price now and would buy the car immediately. He then rambled on about financing and paying it off in time. l told him I was paying cash. He said he would now have to talk to a "finance" manager and call me back. Never heard from him again. Then I called the dealership and asked for the sales manger. Told there were two of them. Tried to talk to one and got voice mail. I left a message. Never heard from him. Called back and asked for the other sales manager. Left a message on his voice mail. Never heard back from him. This is Liberty Kia in Libertyville, Illinois. You should act accordingly if you are thinking of doing business with this dealership.

Kia Motor Gone AFTER 4 YEARS!

We bought a brand new Kia in April 2016. Four years later, the car would not start. We brought it to the Kia of Greenville Dealership for a diagnostic and were told that we needed a new engine to the tune of $6,000. The dealership suggested that we call Kia HQ's to see if we could get a new engine since the car, "should not have had that problem after only 4 years of use." A representative from Kia HQ's called us back with a decision that they would NOT replace the engine and that it was something that the service department told them to lead them to their decision. We had regular oil changes and had all the receipts, so I can't imagine what they would have told them--I'm thinking they didn't want us to get a new engine so we would buy a car from them?? The punch line: they made us pay the $130+ diagnostic fee! I spoke with the service manager to see if we could get the fee waived, then spoke with the GM of the dealership. He was talking in circles and stated that he would not be able to pay his service tech if we didn't pay the diagnostic fee (I'm fairly certain his tech's don't earn $130 for 10 mintues of work). He ended up hanging up on me. I have a call into the owner (who also owns Greer Nissan and Toyota) and am yet to get a call back. After considering out options, we decided to sell the 4 yr old Kia vehicle salvage and buy a new car as we were in need of a truck to do some camping and gardening projects. We enjoyed our Tacoma in the past so purchased one, but NOT FROM GREER TOYOTA. They lost a sale over a measly $130--the culture over their is not one of common sense I'm guessing.

Kia was the future. Now it is.

Once upon a time I tried buying an American made car and was turned down. I walked across the street and rode away in a Kia Rio. I have since bought 3, and my children own 3. They are simply wonderful. More bang for the buck. Kia? Keep doing what you're doing. Taking the world by storm.
