Birthday party package
we had our son's bday party at the Westfield mall location. averall good, staff were a bit overwhelmed on a Saturday, felt like a zoo. But they were nice in the way they interacted with the kids. Food package a bit expensive for what it is, not enough juice for the entire party. Cake quality was average. overall kids had a good time, just I think it's a bit overpriced for what it is.
Truely Awful
What can I say, that has not been said before here - yes truely awful. A message to myself - Always look at reviews before you decide to go somewhere like this.
The place should be shut down - the sponsors (British Airways etc) and their children need to visit as should the fire & safety services.
What made it worse was the passive agressive behaviour of the manager - she had obviously been trained to behave like that. I then complained to the customer services office and the lady there behaved as if I had just had a family bereavement (it was almost quite comical) but refused to be of any help whatsoever apart from inviting me to write in!
Seriously AVOID at all costs.
Waste of both money and time
Rubbish and packed to the grim.It was levels below mediocre.Queues lasted for 40 minutes just going in and also 40 minutes waiting to do a job.jobs weren't even exciting or interesting . They made there own money so that after we finished the session we could buy stuff but did they expect us to buy it if prices were 90 for a bracelet which broke within four hours. It was boiling hot and stuffy like it was summer in there. We had a four hour session however we barely lasted 2 hours . defiantly a disappointing experience first and last time
Dreadful place
Dreadful place, uninterested staff, speak to children like adults, rude, queues ridiculous for a mediocre task that the kids have no clue about.
Not clear where you queue so have to deal with people trying to push in. Too many little bus type things in a small space an ambulance, fire truck and then a tour bus! No idea why you need a tour bus it’s tiny and quicker to walk around than go on the bus.
The queue for the KidZo shop is the worst parents aren’t allowed in so kids are fobbed of with utter crap.
Lanyard to hold their bank card cheapest one is £7.99 and my daughter sliced her finger open on it.
If your child is SEN I wouldn’t bother! There is nothing in place to ensure it is inclusive.
It is stuffy and hot you feel like you haven’t seen daylight in days barely any seating for parents.
I would also NEVER leave my child in there alone!!!!!
Dreadful day and a complete waste of money
I wish we had never gone to KidZania
I wish we had never gone to KidZania. This place lives up to its terrible reviews.
It is way OVERPRICED
We were given a timed entry slot and still had to wait 45 minutes in a queue outside to get in. This is UNACCEPTABLE with children.
We had an 'inspirational role play' experience in the Police department that has left me with SAFEGUARDING CONCERNS that I have reported to the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham for investigation.
The H&M 'inspirational role play' was a colouring sheet and pencils given to the children to complete on their own with no 'inspiration' or guidance.
The staff were disengaged, bored, distracted, disillusioned and showed no real enthusiasm for the children or their role in KidZania.
After a terrible day they went to spend their Kidzo's (money) and the amounts on their bracelets were totally wrong - leaving the whole experience to be pointless.
Despite admitting fault, KidZania have refused to refund our tickets leading me to report the matter to the OFFICE OF FAIR TRADING.
Awful and an embarrassment to the brands they represent.
NO TO KIDZANIA!!!
We took 3 kids to enjoy the day which was a birthday treat. The kids were briefed to work hard and earn a great reward for their hard work at the end of the day.
1. There was no clear instructions to where to line up.
2. Staff were making up their own rules as they went along.
3. There was no control over the busy environment and everything felt so rushed!
4. Collection and drop off games, staff were so inattentive to the children.
We had two kids that had 48 points and another which worked extra hard to accumulate 80 points. When collecting their reward at the end, they didn't allow any adults in the gift area. We talked our way in as we had a 4 year old which needed help in picking a prize. There was hardly anything to pick from. The response we were given was sorry, it has all gone from the morning rush. I am sorry but how is that our issue? We are paying customers too! All the kids were fobbed off with a cheap plastic Frisbee ring. We were clearly lied to saying you need 200 points for that frisbee, as we overheard another kid being told its 20 points.
Most disappointingly, the kids were unhappy that they were all just given the same thing. We have a 7 year old and a 9 year old that do understand more than the staff think. They were rightly upset as we too were as parents.
We visited Kidzania 2-3 years back with our nephew and the experience was far better. Unfortunate to say that this is now just a business making money and the kids have been forgotten about!
Sadly our last time we will be going and I will make sure this reaches every social media platform available.
If I could chose 0 stars, I think that would be far realistic!
If there were 0 stars that's what you…
If there were 0 stars that's what you would get.
Terrible place do not waste your money/time.
1) lots of activities not open
2) long queues
3) staff make up their own rules to suit themselves
4) staff look like they would all rather be somewhere else, all except for the one doing the poice station who was great, happy & enthusiastic with the kids
5) very minimal food in cafe despite having a decent menu! & staff couldn't even answer a simple question.
First visit & will never return. We got to do 4 activities in the whole 5 hrs!!
AWFUL PLACE, DO NOT VISIT
AWFUL PLACE, DO NOT VISIT! Rude staff and customer service, incredibly long queues clearly not designed with young children in mind. Asked for a refund as soon as we came in, we knew straight away this is not a fun experience for a 4yo - one hour queues, loud blasting music, super adult-controlled activities. Needless to say even though everyone agreed with our dreadful experience, no refund was issued. AVOID LIKE PLAGUE. Boring and incredibly expensive
This place doesn’t deserve one star but…
This place doesn’t deserve one star but there’s no option to give a zero which is my rating for this place. We went to the London Westfield centre, we booked in advance for a disabled child and free carer. On arrival queues were horrendously long. Staff were clueless, having to call a manager to authorise a carer ticket only to be told the carer ticket is only for an adult, even though this isn’t mentioned on their website or on their carers policy anywhere. Some children are young carers but we were told we would have to pay an additional £39.50 for our young carer to accompany our disabled child which is DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION UNDER THE EQUALITY ACT 2010. When I mentioned this to the manager she was very patronising nodding her head and basically agreeing but doing nothing about her breaching The Equality Act 2010 never mind HEALTH & SAFETY which was clearly being breached with the amount of people entering the place. This was a MASSIVE HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUE, particularly at a time where COVID, STREP A & SCARLET FEVER ARE rife. Absolutely no measures in place to keep children or adults safe. The kids could not get on any of the activities due to the excessive numbers of people being let in. This meant the £39.50 per person cost was a complete waste of money as you are basically paying to queue for up to an hour to get on something and bearing in mind the time slot is 4 hours this is mostly taken up with queuing to get in first of all and then more queues go get into the actual place itself then more long queues for the activities. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. A RIP OFF. AVOID THIS PLACE IS MY RECOMMENDATION. Our kids were stressed out and really couldn’t engage due to the queues and ended up wanting to leave after getting fed up queuing and unable to get on anything. Some of the staff were helpful and understanding but also pretty clueless to be honest, clearly without any disability awareness or understanding. Not a place for children with additional needs. You are singled out, made to wait longer, not given what is promised when booking and treated unfairly. NOT RECOMMENDED!
Kidzania was nice but what really made it special…
Kidzania was nice but what really made it great for me (or my kids) are certain staff that would go out of their way. One lady, Mikayla, seeing that I had little ones, and that the venue was pretty full of older children, made my daughter and her friends day. She was so patient with them, kind and understanding. She went above and beyond and really made my daughters birthday celebration special. I wish I could thank her again. Another lady in Pilot area was great too.

it was a oppertunity nowhere else would offer.it was amazing
One of the best experiences ever!!!!!!!
Me and my class have gone there and had the experience of our life as we were able to ready ourselves for the upcoming future and had various activities to do. This let us have an idea of what jobs we would like to have.
Terrible waste of money
Terrible waste of money. Writing the review now as I’m here since the queue is so long for everything. Good concept but so poorly run and they let too many people in. Biggest waste of money. Did about 2 activities in the 4 hour slot. Definitely don’t recommend.
Staff say they will help and then walk off and never come back. Staff just pass you back and fourth as none want to help
A waste of time and money. Do not book!
We had a terrible experience today at Kidzania. Well overpriced for what it is. We had 4 kids in our group, 2 managed to do 2 activities and the others didn’t get to do any. Queues for all activities were at least 30 minutes, various parts weren’t even open. We were told by the information place not to even bother queuing for the fire department or pilot as the queues are too big. Kids got fed up of waiting and wanted to leave within an hour. God forbid we dropped our kids off for the day, we stomached the £18 per adult to make sure they were ok and so glad we did. They wouldn’t have had a clue what to do and there we no staff around to help. One activity which was completed, one child couldn’t get ‘paid’ for as the swipe card had no barcode… to rectify this we needed to go to the bank… which had a 30 minute queue. To redeem your money (50 kidzos already given at the start) you needed to queue again for around 30 minutes to get into the department store. Which was basically just a few shelves of small, cheap plastic toys. Lots of overpriced cafes whilst inside to grab even more money from you, and a fully stocked toy shop which you couldn’t use your kidzania money in. Enough was enough and we decided to leave… that was another 20 minute queue just to get out of the place! Plus when we wanted to complain there and then, customer services was closed… during their busiest time! We had to wait again to speak to a manager who advised us there was a no refund policy in place so we couldn’t get our money back, despite someone else being given a full refund for the same reasons while we were there. Lots of people were complaining as they left. Do not waste your time or money on this place!
Horrible Horrible
Horrible Horrible. Please don't waste your money. So badly managed and rude staff
Hell on earth
Hell on earth
A wonderful concept but so very badly executed. We arrived 15 minutes before our time slot as it says to do, only to be told to come back in 10 minutes as a school trip was arriving. We then got the full airport check-in stress of standing in a massive queue for 30 minutes. Once inside it was absolutely manic, every single activity had a queue of at least a dozen children outside meaning a 30 minutes wait for every activity. My 6 and 8 year old would wait 10 minutes then declare they didn’t want to do the activity and we would go and queue outside another u til they got tired of that too. Many of the staff were hopeless at explaining to the children what they were supposed to be doing in their activity. The best bit was parents standing in a queue to hold a space for 4 children, so when you and your child thought they were next in, guess what? More children appear in the queue and you have another 15 minutes to wait. I would say 70% of the 4 hour time slot was spent queuing. And when the children can spent their kidzo currency, parents aren’t allowed in the shop, nothing is priced and they all come out with a hatching unicorn/dinosaur egg. I would give 1 star but the children enjoyed their time so have given 2 stars. Parents be warned, take ear plugs and a hip flask to make this experience bare able.
The laugh of it was, when we rocked up at a jungle cave for dinner without a reservation and they apologised that it would be a 10 minute wait, we just laughed because that was NOTHING compared to what we had had to endure at Kidzania.
Really disappointing trip with our 3…
Really disappointing trip with our 3 children. Son only did 3 activities, each daughter did just one. Unmotivated, unfriendly staff, things closed we were looking forward to or just had ridiculous queues. Had a 4 hour time slot, we were on the way back to the car after 90 mins it was just horrendous for our kids. It felt like an expensive waiting area lacking inspiration and interaction. Would happily have paid double to have stayed home.
Rating should be 0. SCAM and rip-off
Our children queued unreasonably long 30min to 40min for each activity (nearly 2 exhausting hours for 3 tiniest activities!). Kids declared that it is not fun at all and didn’t want to be there anymore. The waiting time is exhausting and the activities were shallow only for 6 and 7 min & one of which lasted only 4 min - theatre audition with no any costume, no any scheme, no anything in particular. Kids were just asked to express agression. Not a good thing even from a moral point of view. It was exceptionally boring and disappointing. Not worth the money at all: paid over £50 just to enter 1 child with adult and additionally inside £50 for 3 most boring activity with over 1h 40 min just a waiting time. Especially it felt like a SCAM in comparison to recently visited Discovery Children’s Story Centre where every one had amazing, magic, wonderful & full of fun time at a reasonable price of £8 per person!
£130 for 3 adults and 2 children
£130 for 3 adults and 2 children. Absolute rip off. No costumes for the children, staff mediocre except the guy rounding up the “fire brigade” too many older children just running around chasing each other and knocking the little ones out of the way. Extortionately expensive once inside. Do NOT accept the “offer” of a lanyard - they are £10 each. Our children only had time for 4 activities because so many were closed the queues were really long. As for the volume of the pumped music - why ? Just why is this needed ? It’s a completely sensory overload and having worked with children for over 30 years I think the whole disorganised mess needs a complete rethink. I especially recommend that parents with children having additional needs seriously
consider if this place is a good choice, especially if you children is super aware of noise levels. The final straw was the lift not working so we couldn’t get upstairs.

The worst place I’ve ever taken my children
I paid £78 to take two children today
We left after 30 minutes
It was smelly , sweaty and dirty
My 3 yr old couldn’t take part in anything in reality it’s for age 7 plus
The toddler area was disgustingly filthy and hardly anything in there
The toilets smelt awful
There was a party room full of mess and left over food that hadn’t been cleaned
I cannot believe that this place hasn’t been shut down
The staff were not engaged at all , literally zero personality and seemed as if they were forced to be there
Nothing was explained properly
We did one and then left
I do not recommend this place at all and I will be getting a full refund
Update - contacting trading standards as they are refusing to refund my tickets
Absolutely appalling response from their customer service
