I emailed a question about the order the serums should be applied. I received a very detailed reply as well as lots of helpful information to make sure I get best possible results. Very impressed by customer support.

On month 3, I understand hair growth takes time so far the change has been subtle. Their customer support is excellent, a prompt and personal response was very much appreciated.

I was very hopeful and used their product for 5 months because that's when they said I should see a lot of baby hairs by, but I saw no growth. When I asked for their advertised refund I was told the refund policy was that you had to wait 90 days but couldn't go over 90 days. But oh wait they give you a complimentary 20 days to request refund. So exactly within 20 days. never mind they encourage longer use for results. Not reliable!

I have white very fine hair so purchased Dr Kilgour’s hair serums. It makes my hair look greasy and turned my white hair yellow. I contacted customer service and asked to return 5 unopened bottles and was denied. I feel this is a scam company that says a 90 day refund/return policy but this did not happen. Do NOT waste your money!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to continue using the product, because the light scent proved to be a migraine trigger for me. My 5-star rating is for their customer service. At first I emailed questions, which they answered immediately. Then when I needed a refund, it was processed very quickly. My brief experience with the product was that it was easy to use and didn't make my hair greasy. The scent wasn't strong, just a sensitivity for me personally.

Unfortunately Kilgour did not work for me. That is not to say it won't work for you.
I have been using hair loss products for 3 decades. They typically work for a few years. I am someone who experiences increased shedding as new growth comes in. By 2.5-3 months shedding decreases sharply as new hairs stabilize. That did not happen with Kilgour. My hair loss increased and did not slow down. It may not have had anything to do with Kilgour, it may have just been my continued terrible hair loss. I did see new, baby hairs but I mostly saw them in the drain-catch...even after investing in the shampoo/conditioner that claims to stabilize new hair growth.
I am fully in menopause and I am managing it but it could be related to why Kilgour did not work for me. I gave it 4 months. At 4 months there should have been more stabilization of new hairs.
As a topical product, it is awesome that Kilgour is not sticky. It does not interfere with hair styling at all. It smells nice and it is easy to apply.
I see a lot of reviews that claim it is hard to cancel your subscription. That is not true. I sent an email to Kilgour at 5:37pm and at 6pm I received a text and email that my subscription was cancelled. They were very easy to work with. Very receptive & responsive.

I am a licensed hair dresser. This morning I permed a client who's hair is normally beautiful, healthy and perms beautifully. Her hair felt funny before I even started and looked yellow on top. The perm took very poorly. She told me about this product she has been using. Don't expect to get a perm over this. It won't work.

The product had a strong perfume chemical smell that made my tongue burn and gave me a headache. I only used once and they kindly offered me a refund right away. I’m not sure if they added the scent, but product doesn’t seem made for sensitive women. It’s obviously made by a man.

The two ladies that have answered my emailed questions have been friendly and helpful. I appreciate their customer-forward attitudes as it comes thru in their writing.

Kilgour serums helped improve my menopausal hair loss. Over 6 months, it helped to reduce shedding and brought new hair growth. The customer service experience via e-mail communication was responsive, concerned, and prompt.

My question was answered clearly and directly with a friendly, helpful tone. Impressed with the products and appreciate the customer service!

Doesn’t work! It’s hard to cancel too. Don’t waste your money

Prompt response to questions. I would suggest that a possible effect of color change on very white or light hair be mentioned in direction. Rubbing serums into scalp and not combing after has really helped minimize brassiness. This is the only product I've ever used that actually works. I'm in my 70s.

Excellent customer service. Provided an easy refund. I used for 60 days. However, the product didn't work for me. It also turned my hair in the treated area, orange. I have very light silver hair. I was using it mainly on the top of my head. The area it was used on turned my existing hair orange. Now I have another problem to deal with. Maybe because it is chemo hair, I don't know, but watch while you're using it to see if your hair changes. They told one customer it was waking up follicles, not for me. Orange hair is not new growth.
