Came to replace my guttering and down pipes and Darren and his colleague did a really good job. Upon completion the site was left clean and tidy. The 10 year guarantee also provided peace of mind. I would recommend Kindlelight without hesitation.

Final product and installation was very good and we are very satisfied wih doors. However did not turn up on scheduled day with no notification and very unresponsive to subsequent communications.

The history of this installation goes back to mid-2017 when we signed up to have two sets of folding doors fitted. This was attempted in December 2017. The first door went in fairly well with two fitters involved. There were several "minor" issues but on the second day they only sent one fitter and it rained all day. We rang Kindleight to check if it was ok for their fitter to install the doors (the frame was nearly 2.5m wide) in such conditions. They said it would be fine.
The door was fitted in the end with two sets of clothing and a very wet workman. The Kindlelight contract insists that the client signs to say all is well and they also expect payment at the same time.
Needless to say, all was not good and we went through a period of calls, emails and visits which extended into 2019.
At no point did a senior representative of the company acknowledge the problems and nor have they replied to my letter of complaint.
Things that went wrong include delivering a temporary replacement window that was the wrong size, not fitting the agreed magnets to hold the doors open when the single door was left open (this caused more damage), multiple replacements of the internal blind windows because of bad workmanship, taking a month to obtain a replacement holder for the blinds chord (and then dilevering the wrong size), when the doors rattled we discoverd that the dampers supplied by the manufacturer had not been intalled, harrasing us for the final payment in April 2018 whn we had paid in December 2017!
This is a shortened list of things that went wrong. To make things worse our neighbours chose to use the company and had a similar experience with an extraordinary number of faults requireing many visits to rectify.

Appalling. Had to fight to get our deposit back before going to a competent company that could do the job without lying to us.

I can’t praise Kindlelight enough. I have just had all my windows and doors done. I would highly recommend this company. Quality, price and customer service was first class.

I ordered a 5-panel set of bi-fold doors and 2 roof lantern skylights.
Right from the sales enquiry through to the final snagging, it’s been a positive and most importantly, easy experience.

A pleasant chap turned up to take the measurements whilst talking me through the process and the 10-year guarantee which was included in the cost. (first time buyer!)

The order was made, and potential fit date agreed. I appreciated the regular updates from the office keeping me informed of the status of my order and going above and beyond trying to schedule a convenient fit date when I had very little flexibility.

The doors and roof lanterns look even better than I had imagined and make the room what it is today. With the excellent attention to detail and 5-star, top quality finish, I often get complements from friends on the finish.

I couldn’t recommend Kindlelight and the team enough. Friendly and reliable, supplying quality products and materials. It was not a difficult decision choosing to work with Kindlelight.

It is very rare for me to leave an online review. But sometimes you need to do your duty. Not just to the company in question but also to any customers thinking of using them.

These guys are amazing. From the quote to the fitting they are simply a different level. We order a very difficult and heavy five-panel bi-fold door / window, and we are blown away by the end product. Not only was the quote and discussion process simple and friendly, but the guys that came to the house to fit the doors could not have been any better.

So friendly and polite, so determined to do a good job, it was very refreshing indeed. Not one person comes to our house for dinner without paying a compliment to the doors, so thank you Kindlelight.

I recently had four moderate/small sized windows and two external doors supplied and fitted and the creasing tiles above the windows replaced.

At nearly £9000 I had hoped for a really good job, and from a distance it does look quite nice. Up close, it's more disappointing with lots of things out of plumb/straight/level. The window cosmetic glazing bars are applied rather haphazardly and with some very odd spacing on some of them, and there are some very uneven gaps between the window sashes and frames.

There were a load of other more constructional issues they wouldn't do anything about either. Apparently I 'have ridiculously unrealistic expectations and will never be happy with anything'. The fact that is was better than it was before and better than some of the neighbour's windows should have been good enough for me, or so the salesman told me.

A few friends and colleagues have used Kindlelight and their satisfaction does seem to be very dependent on the salesman and fitter they got. Maybe you'll be luckier than I was, or maybe I am too picky, but I wouldn't use them again.

Update: Damp now tracking through at head of window where I predicted given their bodge of using plaster to make good rather than remortaring. I was told I knew nothing when I complained at the time.

Unprofessional, uncaring, On their terms only, Abrupt, Rude

We have had a very poor time using this company; they seemed nice and the reviews overall seemed positive; how foolish we were to have believed them.

We have had rude and abrupt calls, demands to be at home when dates had been given that we were able to do, further abrupt calls, staff ignoring our request for an alternative date and frightening our neighbours by just knocking at their door of an evening.

The whole experience has been traumatic, upsetting, disappointing and we are scared if we get a problem they will treat us in the same manner. They have not been a caring company, quite the opposite and we wanted to warn others to be very very careful if you think of using them in the future. We cannot and will not ever recommend them and would just warn others to be extremely careful.

So many people are quick to complain, but not so quick to say thank you and trust me, we are so thankful for what you guys have produced.
From start to finish of this project, we have had nothing but professionalism, dedication and incredibly hard working guys here each and every day.
Our home was treated like a home and not a building site, Gary, Ian and Dave were outstandingly polite, punctual and tidy and I truly couldn't have asked for more.
The small snags we encountered along the way were dealt with at speed and again courteously.
The finished conservatory is so much more than we could of possibly imagined and it still blows our minds, Kindlelight made that happen and we can't thank you enough.
The quality of all the materials used exceeded our expectations and compared to other companies within the same arena,there is no comparison.
Finally, a special mention has to go to Ian, whom has worked tirelessly throughout this build. He is a credit to the company in so many ways. His work ethic is unparalleled and his attention to detail is a rare find these days. He is undoubtedly a lovely guy and has made this whole experience a pleasure.

Kindlelight installed windows, a set of patio doors, bifolding doors and a front door to our new house. The whole job from start to finish was carried out professionally. We are totally happy and have recommended Kindlelight to family and friends.

Very disappointed with customer service. We have been trying to obtain a refund from a deposit that we placed but out emails have been ignored and have not been able to get hold of the sales person. Have spoken to a number of people but have been given so many delaying excuses. There policy is that a refund should be with us within 2 weeks and still on the 8th day we have not received a call or any form of confirmation on when we will get our money back. They were very quick in taking the funds from our card, but not at all interested in confirming when we will get the funds back.
We cannot comment on their product quality, but can confirm that you should consider very carefully when parting with your money. Unfortunately we have to tick a single star to get this review registered, but on customer service I would not even rate them.
