I’ve used Kinesis for a few years and have been very pleased. No issues redeeming with physical delivery or withdrawing other than a delay when they were verifying my security information. Biggest hiccup is getting fiat into the platform but USDC transfers seem to work the best for that.

Great way to buy and have stored, gold and silver

I opened the account a few years ago, with a few hundred dollars. They have no debit card either physical or virtual. It is impossible the spend the money that is in there. They have been telling me all of this time it coming soon, but no cigar. Talked to them today on chat and same old story.

Great for owning real redeemable precious metals as digital assets, whilst also earning a yield paid back in precious metals.

I’ve been using Kinesis for a while now, and overall, it’s been a pretty solid experience. The idea of spending and saving with gold and silver (KAU and KAG) is really cool — much more stable than regular crypto.

I like that I can earn yield just by holding gold and silver.

The sign-up process could be easier, especially if you're new to crypto assets.

All in all, Kinesis is doing something different and worthwhile. If you’re into precious metals and want more control over your money, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Great business idea but unsafe and intrusive KYC procedure. Works with third party ID verification company Persona (sitting in the US) and is asking to upload not only government ID but also make a selfie. Thus they are collecting biometric information. HIGH RISK of misappropriation. Nobody knows where your sensitive data is going...

I have used the Kinesis system for years and remember its early development days. After the initial software hiccups, I have essentially been a user without any incident in trading, depositing, and even withdrawing. I like the system.

I have only one peeve: When will the KVT tokens become tradable on the Kinesis exchange?

I have been waiting for years and the money remains locked up in a non-tradable KVT asset. And since it’s still not tradable, there is no true market valuation.

Please Kinesis team, provide some more transparency concerning KVT trading.

I was initially excited about kinesis but after my recent experience I no longer trust them.

I tried to deposit money which required an international transfer, 3-5 business days they said…. 3 weeks later I had to follow up and go back a forth with them about my bank details, where I sent it too ect. It was required that I send them a bank statement with my name and the transaction on it. But this didn’t resolve the issue…

Another week later I am on the phone being recorded stating that “I did this of my own volition” which is where I pulled the pin and said if this is what it takes then send my money back. I’m not sure if I’ll be getting it back yet. I have never experienced this kind of nonsense when making transfers. It felt like I had to prove I was of sound mind when I sent the money so I couldn’t sue them or have my bank get it back.

All of this is after my own bank grilled me about trying to transfer the money and had to verify that I trusted this company and let the transfer go through.

Maybe they have had issues with people trying to scam them? I’m not sure, but this put me off.

If the expectations when making the deposit were more upfront/transparent could go a long way

I invested with Kinesis for over a year. I have been earning gold & silver into my account regularly, I was able to withdraw when I was ready & I still have a lil bit in at the moment making a return.
I have had a good experience so far

I used metal back as a loyalty program to buy products online. With the program you receive the same good prices for products you would normally buy as well as receiving gold into your Kinesis account! This is the best loyalty program yet. I look forward to getting the Kinesis credit card when it becomes available.

Hard to know whom to trust in life but I'm convinced these guys are righteous.

KAU and KAG digital coins are are 100% backed by real gold and silver. That is why I believe it is real digital money unlike bitcoins etc, which are just digital blockchain codes backed by nothing.

I believe in their vision for sound money. They have integrity and are trustworthy in my estimation, they've always been helpful to me.

I went through 4 different verifications (photos of documents, holding up paper with my face and card, facial scans, and a VIDEO chat) and I was still declined. I’ve never had to do that for anything in my life. If you want someone’s business, maybe ease up the verification hoops. This was ridiculous and I have asked for a stop-pay/dispute on the transaction I made with my bank.

Good luck. I’ll just stick with my PAXG.

A great way to buy and hold Gold, Silver and Crypto.
Also it's easy to deposit crypto and exchange.
Just wish the Kinesis card was available in South Africa.

The good, the bad and the ugly....
Pro's - great platform, app and solution for buying digital gold and silver.
Con's - Funding account is a complete nightmare, can take up to 3 weeks to credit account, should be much simpler and easier, it actually requires a call from service team to actually get funds allocated. Also would be good to add other precious metals i.e. Platinum, Palladium

Disappointing company. Continuous bugs, uncertainty around the virtual card delivery, issues with obtaining referral 1/2 Ounce of Silver, Kinesis Mint problem.
And to add the cherry on the cake, I get charged 25Euros for a withdrawal that initially cost me 0Euros because of yet another technical issue with the platform. A problem on their end*, and you as a customer have to pay for the consequences.

If you ask for help, they take ages to respond and their excuse is "we have other 'priorities'... how does that make you feel as a client". Horrible..

If you put your money in Kinesis, consider it a high risk venture. You would have more peace of mind buying physical AND paying a small storage fees.

Because, who knows if you'll even be able to get your money out of Kinesis.

I was so looking forward to using Kinesis for the long-term and I have been tremendously disappointed with their poor execution.

You have to beg* them to fix their OWN issues on the platform, and don't expect them to refund you a fee that should not have been there, or to make things right when they outright waste your time AND energy trying to fix an issue.

Kinesis cannot take care of existing customers, good luck getting new ones, they'll flee your platform when they see the tremendous amount of issues plaguing it.

Only plus, is Michael Barret trying his best in a sinking ship.

Don't waste your time, unless some dramatic change, this company is not delivering on promises and has trouble executing on the most basic things, referrals, platform usage, card release, trading platform User Interface..all things that are lagging behind.

Plus, they are so cryptic about what's happening behind the scenes, it makes you wonder if it's not one of the greatest Ponzi schemes to lock your wealth in. If not, then it's just run by an incompetent management team that is not able to deliver on their promises and keeps making excuses for their lack of results.
