From initial contact for a quotation, then site survey, the installation team and further contacts with accounts and general information, and follow up on paperwork and payment confirmation. The Kingfisher team have been nothing but professional.

I recently had the pleasure of having Chris and Craig install two dorma windows and cladding on my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, they were exceptionally polite, friendly, and professional. Their attention to detail and commitment to a high standard of work truly set them apart. The finish was immaculate—every aspect showed their expertise and pride in their craft. I can’t recommend these two enough; if you’re looking for skilled professionals who go above and beyond, Chris and Craig are the team for the job! At first I wasn’t too happy as my window came with the wrong sized . A gentleman called Hugh came and was very apologetic.
On his leave he actually helped fix my door and was back in a few days to replace me cracked window. Very nice gentleman top star for him.

I was very nervous about getting some new windows, as I expected to be hounded by a salesman, once I'd expressed an interest in getting some new windows.

The Kingfisher rep called Simon who came to see us was very polite and not pushy at all. Very easy to engage with. I did the follow up, with no hassle following the intial visit.

I'm not sure what the going rate is for PVC windows, but maybe Kingfisher are better quality than the average supplier and possibly slightly dearer than others. I thought the price/quality was good however.

We made an order, which was fulfilled in July.

We had windows replaced that were not very straight forward installations and I expected a lot of touching up post installation. I'm pleased to say that the install team did a great job and left things in a state that required no further painting or patching up. I was pleasantly surprised by that, given the non straightfoward nature of the windows that were replaced.

I would therefore recommend Kingfisher and wouldn't hesitate in using them again.

Replace new door. The service was exceptional. Keep me informed of any changes that was fitted even came back to do an architrave. Would definitely use again as I am wary of lots of companies out there and you need to get somebody you can trust to communicate. Brilliant will be using them again.

Kingfisher stuck to their 10 year guarantee. I decided to write this review even though it’s probably 6 months to a year since Kingfisher came out to us. We had a new front and back door fitted about 8 to 9 years ago. One day out of the blue the lock on our front door went faulty. We phoned Kingfisher not expecting anything from them seeing as the door was so old. However we were very pleasantly surprised when they said it was still covered under the guarantee. Russ came out and quickly replaced the lock. He also checked the back door lock and said that was about to do the same as the front, so replaced both. What a great guy too. We are considering replacing all windows and doors shortly and Kingfisher will be our first port of call for a quote. Thanks so much to all the staff here.

If there was a five star plus they would without doubt qualify for one. Both me and my whole family have used Kingfisher for over 30 years and not had a problem.
The quality of their work and customer care from inception to completion is first class. The sales and fitting team are exceptionally good at what they do along with the production guys. I can’t recommend this company enough. Thank you Kingfisher for making my house look beautiful. 🤩

I’ve just had my old conservatory replaced/refurbished with a new one which has a tiled roof.
I wanted Kingfisher to do the work because of their reputation which I’d heard through word of mouth from family and friends. I wasn’t disappointed, everyone from Kingfisher that attended site, was a credit to the company. The rep that quoted for the job, Scaffolders, Builders, Fitters, Electricians, they all did a superb job. The conservatory that I now have is even better than I’d hoped it would be. Chuffed to bits.

We recently had all new windows and doors for our house, supplied and fitted by Kingfisher. As this included 11 windows and 2 composite doors, as well as replacement cladding, this was no small expense. We obtained a number of quotes to ensure we got a competitive price and were happy with the service provided. From the very first home visit, Kingfisher stood out. The sales advisor was knowledgable, professional, courteous and honest, and didn’t make us feel pressured at all. He patiently answered our (many) questions, and outlined the process, and timescale, and followed this up with a detailed quote via email the next day.
Although Kingfisher weren’t the cheapest quote we received, the sales advisor made a great first impression and the quote was still very competitive. Another positive was that the company had a wider selection of composite door styles than any of the other companies we had approached, and we settled on one that was in keeping with the period of our property. We discussed the option of designing a bespoke glass panel for the doors and they were very accommodating, they even managed to send us a mock up of the design.
The fitters who attended were absolutely brilliant. They worked hard, kept us updated throughout and went above and beyond when encountering all the unexpected issues that often come up in old houses. They were pleasant to be around and made sure everything was tidied up at the end of each work day. The attention to detail really made a huge difference, and the windows and doors were finished beautifully.
When the doors arrived, we discovered they were key turn on both sides, and we had requested a thumb turn lock on the inside. We let the company know and the locks were changed to thumb turns the very next day, with no drama whatsoever.
Having had a number of repairs and upgrades done on our home recently, it was really reassuring to know that the company has a fitting team who don’t need to be ‘chivvied along’ or monitored. The guys worked hard every day without fail, and we left them to their expertise.
Highly recommends.

My parents had Kingfisher out to replace their front door. The gentleman that came went above and beyond. Not only did he lower the threshold but He even put the bell back on and meticulously cleaned up after himself. Incredibly good work. Very happy and would highly recommend.

We decided to go with Kingfisher on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. We have received excellent service from start to finish. The fitters, Chris and Craig, went above and beyond to provide a first class installation. They were prompt, courteous and friendly, making sure we knew exactly what was happening at every stage, and also how to maintain our new windows and doors. They cleaned up conscientiously, both during and at the end of the day We would certainly recommend this company to anyone considering replacement windows and doors.

This is the 3rd time I have used Kingfisher. They are an excellent company providing good quality windows and doors but with a tailored service. They are very good at advising when making choices and at keeping you in touch when surveying before installation. Excellent service

I rang up on Thursday about a small problem with my external doors and an appointment was made for the following Monday, great. Russ came nice and early in the morning and quickly saw and dealt with the problem. He was efficient, polite and helpful. I have no hesitation in dealing with and recommending Kingfisher.

A terrible, terrible company. With the exception of one room, all others had considerable damage to the plaster work and ledges which they claimed they would repair and made arrangements for a tradesperson to carry out the repairs 13 days later, which they then didn't turn up to or even phone to apologise. They also broke the toilet seat and said that it would be replaced. After having to make numerous inquiries chasing this up, 12 days later a fella turned up with the cheapest piece of plastic tat they could find, nothing similar to the one that broken (foolishly I expected quality like for like). Not only that, but it doesn't even fit properly. Disgusting behaviour and customer service and explains why a staggering 20% have given them only 1 star. I will now take them to a small claims court. Be warned and stay away.

I don’t usually post bad reviews but feel like Kingfisher Windows experience wasn’t great. First they couldn’t make it original fitting day so I’ve lost day of holiday. I have no issues itself with quality of the door but fitter used brown silicone to finish which look awful an doesn’t match my windows(wasn’t even ask if I wanted brown). I made complaint to the company but was completely brushed off by guy called Paul, he said that as a standard the used brown which is not true as they fitted my neighbors door and used white. Really not happy with the service.

Having used several of the bigger window companies in West Yorkshire, we can say that Kingfisher are definitely the best in terms of quality and customer service. Friendly, but non-pushy sales staff, great office and back room staff, and our fitters, Chris and Craig, were really first class. No redecoration required, the internal finish is that good Externally they knew to advise us to have a stone coloured silicone sealant, instead of matching the frame colour, for a much better appearance. Well done!
