Not ideal for small businesses...
Klaviyo is a really large and robust program that just was not a fit for my small business. At times, I felt like I needed to hire someone just to understand and utilize it best for us. It was also extremely expensive, and while it certainly is capable of a lot, it really was not a good platform for a business of our size. We have 15,000 email subscribers, but we are a small business of 3 people so I maybe had an opportunity 3/4 times a month to actually send an email and at $165+USD/month I just wasn't seeing the return. I think that I could have had a full time job just running Klaviyo.
In order to utillize it best, you need to put a lot of time into your email marketing strategy and maybe we just are too small for that right now.
Customer service was always excellent and there were a ton of help and learning materials that Klaviyo provided, but as I said before, the system in general was just way too much for what we are capable of right now.

Be very careful using Klaviyo. Like others here we’ve experienced Klaviyo auto checking boxes to auto increase our, the customer’s, bill. It is one thing to auto check on a box to subscribe someone to a series of emails, but any business that uses this to immediately send a dramatically increased bill to customers is going to get request to reverse the change and issue a refund or a huge number of complaints, but it gets worse - Klaviyo won’t refund the money. Contacting them minutes after the auto-checked increase the bill, first they denied it was an auto check box, later they admitted it, but either way - no refunds - even though we hadn’t used it. Be very careful using Klaviyo.

Best Customer Support
I have been working with Klaviyo for several years now and in addition to all the merits of the platform today I would like to focus on their customer service/support.
I have had the pleasure of being helped by FX on several occasions and their helpfulness and professionalism have led me to achieve very complex goals in terms of platform integrations and technical problems.

The initial response from Klaviyo's "canned-response" email was that we violated their "anti-abuse and campaign monitoring system".
No specifics were provided, just AI style computer talk.
As a multi-million dollar online seller with various professional relationships and vendors, I take accusations of abuse very serious.
We follow the rules and monitor feedback from consumers closely.
Klaviyo is a "Tech" company. They let computers run their business.
As CEO of my company I have instructed my marketing team not to work with Klaviyo again. We like working with real, like-minded people. That's not Klaviyo.
I had an account that I cancelled a year ago.
My marketing company wanted to use them again but Klaviyo deleted my data.
I tried setting up a new account but cannot.
Klaviyo CS message says log into my account to open a ticket? What? Without an account you cannot.
I found a link on Google that got me connected to a CS person.
It took 2 days to get a response. The message said "create a new account".
That doesn't work either.
Technology companies that rely on computers think their smart.
They can all close down and make the business community a better place for all of us.

Ongoing issues related to bot clicks
We've been a loyal Klaviyo customer for years, but my recent experience has been incredibly disappointing. We've been dealing with ongoing issues related to bot clicks, which have severely impacted our email marketing campaigns. Despite reaching out multiple times, the support we've received has been unhelpful and condescending.
Joanna from Klaviyo's Billing Support Team provided a response that was not only patronizing but also failed to address the core issue. As professionals with extensive experience in data monitoring, we found the provided information to be basic and ineffective. We've already implemented all the suggested recommendations without any success.
It's frustrating that Klaviyo seems to be the only email marketing platform plagued by this problem, and it's disheartening to see that the company isn't taking meaningful steps to resolve it. Instead of offering a refund or compensation for the inconvenience caused, they have refused any form of credit or refund.
Klaviyo is supposed to be a helpful tool for businesses, but this issue has cost us significant time and resources. The lack of support and effective solutions is unacceptable. If you’re considering Klaviyo for your email marketing needs, be aware that their customer service and problem resolution are severely lacking.
We are now looking into alternative platforms that truly value their customers and provide effective solutions without the hassle.
Hard to do better
I am aware that there are dozens of good tools on the market for working with ecommerce, but I would not bet a single euro against the level of preparation of Klaviyo's support. There is no doubt that in order to receive answers of a certain level one must also ask questions with a high degree of depth, but Klaviyo remains in my opinion the ideal tool if one has a solid technical and strategic knowledge.

I have been using Klaviyo for around 4 years. I was originally with Mailchimp. My honest review of Klaviyo is that it is very expensive for what it is and there basically is no customer support (well support that actually help resolve issues and doesn't just send standard unhelpful responses). There are definitly better platforms out there.

Again, when I ask them nicely to remove another featured they added and we never asked for, I am asked the same questions 3 times in a row and ultimately treated like a robot. Different agents, but same behaviour. And the attitude? It's like they all have a bad day!

Very poor services and lots of errors.
Very poor services, lots of errors, and they never fix it!! They charged my card of 100 EUR, without any explanations, even though I did not exceed anything. When I contacted the support about this, they refused to send it back, saying that this is their policy. Stay away from this SCAM.
