Konges Sløjd Reviews 

A couple of months ago I have bought a set of 3 found foodboxes (stainless steel with painted layer) of Konges Slojd sold at a official retailer Mirle&Tess. Shortly after I have bought and used them I was shocked, as The painted layer came of and was all over The food of my 2 year old son.

I checked The 3 boxes and all of them had chipped paint which came off. As The food boxes are sold especially for the food for children, it shocked me even more. I contacted Mirle&Tess to warn them and ask them to contact Konges Slojd. This is a seriously safety problem, and Konges Slojd needs to solve this.

Mirle&Tess and I wrote several e-mails, included pictures of The boxes, but Konges Slojd doesnt reply, not to Mirle&Tess and not to me.

Thats The reason I write about this issue online and post it on social media as well. To warn other parents, to not trust the safety of Konges Slojd pieces and also to make a statement that a brand like this is not handeling serieus problems when customers and retailers contact them.

Im super dissapointed about the brand. Never thought they would act (or better to say ‘not acting’) like this.

9 may 2023:
Konges Sloejd finally contacted me about the food box issue.
They apologized and will handle the safety procedure /contact the manufacturer and remove the foodboxes from the webshop.
They told me they couldn’t find the first emails that the retailer and I had send, else they would have contacted me earlier.
I’m happy to hear from them and the way they handle now, so that’s why I add this experience to my first one.

Hopefully the problem won’t happen again with someone else.

We had problem with the same toy 2 times (circus puppy, wool, music toy) since the baby liked it and we had to order it once again when we’d lost the previous one. But the quality of this toy in both cases was very poor: first time I literally had to sew it up as it came apart at the seam, uneven seams and parts of the toy (clown hat etc.); on second time one of the puppy’s paws was not stuffed at all! If you press it - it appears to have no filling at all, and again- material was torn apart at the clown hat. Super disappointed given how pricy it is.

Update: the one pieces and tights are a whole size longer than labeled (my girls are in the 99th centile for height), the Lapis fabric pills terribly (so badly that even if you remove large tufts after they just walk around let alone playing/washing there's just more and more pilling) but it is nice and warm. The stitching around the cuffs of the heart bodysuit started coming undone after one wear with following washing instructions. Beautiful style but disappointed in the quality of these clothes that are not made in Europe but have European prices.
Also, American Express was able to take care of the fee for me below, I was so grateful! The company sent me a shipping code so I could get a matching shirt for the twins, which was nice.

It’s interesting this is the only place you can leave feedback for this company … I am Danish and was excited to buy clothes for my twin girls until their next birthday not knowing that orders to the US over $800 would be slapped with a $260 customs fee, despite free shipping at checkout and no indication of this charge. There should have been some warning this amount would be mandatory before shipping. You can also not cancel an order or modify it at all after it is placed. The company could split the order to avoid this for the customer. Customer service did respond curtly to say that this info is on the website - if you scroll down to the bottom and click shipping, then you can find it but I obviously didn’t know about it before making my order. Because their clothing is made in China, Bangladesh and other developing countries, UPS explained to me there are import fees. This company would have you make smaller orders and increase your carbon footprint but it would ultimately save the customer a LOT of money in fees. You would also have to pay return fees and customs yourself to return anything or not accept the package. I share this to hopefully save someone else this pain.

Very bad customer service. It took 3 weeks to process the order, the money was withdrawn and the order was canceled with the annotation "at customer's request". I have not received my order. Nobody contacted me. Only after my message regarding the information where the order is. The order has been cancelled by the story. Nobody even apologized. Unfortunately, this is not legal.I do not recommend.

Order of 2 products. Only recieved 1. Costumer service did not respond on mail.

Still got only 1 product.

Shortened my life every time when I visit Konges' website, especially the B2B site, I have to wait for like 3~5 mins to log in and wait for another 5mins to open a page to check our order.

It's 2022, not 2002, do something!

Like your products but your webshop does not work well on phone
