No customer service, charged me even though I cancelled before free trial was over. I had to dispute the charge with my bank.

Kopa is an awful company with no customer service. They are withholding this month’s rent saying that it’s “processing” with my bank but my bank has not received any payment. I have never received payments within the 4 business days as they claim online and it has now been 11 business days with me continuously contacting their customer service with no response.

It seems that I am not the first or only person this is happening to or has happened to. Please do not use this company if you want to get paid my your tenants! They have very high service fees, too. Don’t use them!

Only a 1-Star because there is not an option for ZERO. There is no customer support, no response to multiple emails and voicemails, and worst of all, no required Kopa-controlled approval on a Kopa-run FB group to list a rental. But they damn sure charged my credit card every month. IMPOSSIBLE to cancel- again, NO RESPONSE to multiple attempts to contact. I had to go through my credit card co. to dispute.

I just posted one of my listings to see how it would go. I wrote customer service but have not had a response. It posted my listing but then after seeing it ones it doesn't show in searches. Last no other pages seem to have reviews. Is this business still in business?

Kopa charges outrageous fees to their property owners compared to other platforms that provide similar services. They are quick to remove funds from your account but do not respond when refunds are to be made back into your account. There is no phone number to call for authentic customer support, so they simply do not respond to written emails.
I do not recommend using this platform as a landlord.

I didn’t have a positive experience. The host let me stay one month, when I requested another 2 months, I was declined. Well we didn’t start off on the right foot. That’s fine. When I moved out, and left the apt absolutely spotless, I thought I would get back my deposit immediately or worst case scenario 30 days later. No, the owner of the property, who I had to get his number from a neighbor. They don’t have this information readily available, was not quick to respond. When he finally did, he said it would be 60 days after move out. And that the funds would be automatically deposited. Well...It’s been past 60 days. I’ve reached out to the owner, he said he thought the funds were automatically deposited. Gave me a few contacts to reach out to. I did. On Friday. No response😢 This is $750 worth of deposit. Be aware who you rent from. Personally, I had a very bad experience. I really hope I get my deposit back😭

I recently booked an apartment in Miami with a few days notice via Kopa. Space turned out to be great and exactly as advertised, I'd definitely use again!

Awesome site for finding student housing especially with the current limitations of viewing properties because of COVID.

This is a review for the direct booking website product. Setup was easy and my price is great compared to other options I took a look at. Import feature is very handy.

As a professional property manager, I could not recommend Kopa more. Their host interface is very intuitive and reservation management system is great for keeping track of tenancies/payments.

I’ve had the pleasure of hosting many students and staff members from our local University through Kopa. Awesome platform, and great innovation - love the new direct booking website feature!

Great place for student housing

Kelsey demoed and help set me up with a direct booking website. I could not be more than happy with my experience, the site looks amazing and it took me less than half an hour to completely setup. Price is reasonable and product is great!

Got an awesome tenant for a 4-month stay via Kopa!

It's refreshing to see a site supports us hosts during COVID-19; I had to convert from short term to long-term and getting a guest for that long through Airbnb isn't easy.

I have used Kopa for several years to find interns for our home in Bay area. Their system is very easy to use for posting your property and also comparing with other properties in the area for price and size of homes.
All the interns we found have been wonderful students from Canada. I recommend Kopa very strongly

I have used Kopa twice now to find short term housing in NorCal for my internships.

Both times my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The landlords themselves have been very responsive on the platform and the team at Kopa have always been responsive to any questions I have.

It's a great way to find short term housing in a new city when you're first moving out there. Simple to use interface without the unknowns of using a site such as craigslist.

Will be using again in the future whenever I need to find short term housing in a new location!

Great platform, very easy to use and good alternative to Airbnb especially as a host.
