Minus 5 Stars
If there was a minus 5 - star rating, they are lucky to receive that.
This is a SCAM company. They take your money and send you bogus tracking information. I am filing a complaint against this company.
Poor product, poor customer service. Avoid.
I cancelled this order shortly after purchasing it, having read the reviews. The company refused to cancel and insisted on shipping it anyway, assuring me that I could return it once it arrived.
When it did arrive, it was extremely disappointing.
Despite being marketed as a Japanese whisky glass, it was shipped from China. The glass itself is very thin, lightweight, and feels cheap and low quality. Nothing about it feels premium or suitable for a proper whisky glass. The wooden box is equally poor, made from very cheap wood and looks unpleasant and poorly finished.
To make matters worse, their website instructs customers to email for return details. I have emailed three times and received no response whatsoever. The only emails I have received are automated messages asking me to leave a review.
Poor quality, misleading product description, and non-existent customer service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.
These are cheap and flimsy glasses
These are cheap and flimsy glasses ! Don't be fooled by the descriptions and photos. They took weeks to arrive. They kept on sending shipping updates which said nothing . I have returned them to China and it has cost me to do so. I have also had to fill in extensive forms for China customs to include detailed codes for the products. I am still waiting on my refund.
Beautiful glasses, great quality
Really pleased with the 2 beautiful boxed glasses which arrived within 16 days in December, well packaged and presented. So pleased to have ignored the negative reviews, definitely not my experience, would recommend, lovely quality and the recipients were delighted!
Dreadful - AVOID!!
Dreadful.
Claims quality Japanese craftsmanship etc.
The item that came was a cheap, heavy, mass produced piece of rubbish.
£46! Would have felt a bit ripped off if it was £5.
A total scam.
Avoid!!
Good quality glas
Good quality glas, nice in the hand, a very good glas to drink from. I really like the shape as well!
What they advertise…and what you receive
What they advertise “ Every Kori Whiskey glass is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship” is the polar opposite from what you will receive. After waiting and waiting, they finally arrived in their “original wooden casing for you to be the very next person to have touched the glass after it’s craftsman” (aka plywood?) were two flimsy cheap mass produced glasses that I would be too embarrassed to gift. A total scam.
Don’t purchase anything from here
Don’t purchase anything from here. I purchased what was advertised to be a beautiful Japanese whiskey glass and received a glass item so small it would barely hold a shot measure and you certainly can’t get your lips to the side of the glass due to the shape in order to drink anything. It resembles an eye bath and is very cheaply made. Dreadful! Extremely slow delivery too. A complete rip off. Do not buy
I am extremely disappointed with the…
I am extremely disappointed with the Shimo “handmade Japanese glass” that I purchased for £29.00 as a gift for a family member. I ordered on the 13th December and it has only just arrived on the 31st December after I was told the latest it would arrive was the 23rd. The “Handmade” box is awful quality and arrived with two sides of the lid cracked off.
Low quality product
Delivery took ages, and I received low quality crappie glass that's not worth the money.
Definitely never will use the again, and don't recommend
Product was amazing but the delivery could be better
Glasses themselves were amazing and loved the ice stones that came with it.
Will be ordering again in the future.
Only issue was the long delivery and the issues with yodel collecting once the glasses arrived inland.
24 days to be delivered and no gift box as advertised
Ordered this for a Christmas present on 06/12. The glass has only just arrived on 30/12 - how can it take 24 days to be delivered. It’s also advertised as a luxury ‘Japanese whiskey glass’ but shipped from china?
The packaging for the glass was abysmal, just came in bubble wrap and a plastic delivery bag, yet on their website it states that it should include an ‘authentic wooden gift box’? Where’s the gift box? The look of the glass isn’t as impressive as the photos on their website. The photos on the website look like something you’d get from selfridges, but the actual product looks like something you’d get off Temu.
I emailed their customer service twice over 3 weeks to ask when my parcel should be delivered and got a generic response that didn’t actually answer my question.
AVOID!
Nice Glass
Hi, I got 2 of the Bijutsu style glasses and I would say I would of liked them to be a bit bigger and the wood that is crafted onto the glass feels like it is going to crack.
I do like the style of the glass though.
Still waiting…
Ordered two glasses on 2nd December, still waiting for them to be delivered. They were a Christmas gift too.
I'd give no stars if I could
I'd give no stars if I could

Still waiting for delivery. Wish I'd read the reviews before I ordered 😭 oh and BTW since when does hand made from Japan come from China🤬😡
Generic replies from Fastway

Worse experience!!!
Worse experience!!!!
I ordered 2 times the
"Asama - Japanese Whisky Glass (1+1 Free) Buy 1 get 1 free". And I paid for the price of it. The 19 December 2025 I only received 1 glass and never received the others one. I call the company of delivery and they didn’t have it. I also send an email to your compagny but no one answered me. I never had a refund for the missing glass. I tried to call no answer. I send email to the delivery company too and same no answer.
I post this review the 29 December and I still haven’t my refund nor the three missing glass.
I want a refund and an explanation.
Beautiful Glass
The glass was a gift and I have not given it to the recipient yet. It is beautiful! However, I was expecting it to arrive in a wooden box for presentation. It did not. There was no indication that I had to chose that option. I would have paid more to have the box. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.
Not genuinely Japanese or hand-crafted
I ordered a whiskey glass from the website - I believe it’s called the Edo glass. It arrived after a couple weeks, and the packaging was quite nice. The glass itself was a decent size, but it was clear the glass was not ‘hand-crafted’ as is suggested on the website- the glass was made in a mould.
The company is based in China and there is clearly a strong focus on hiding this fact on their website. It was only after placing an order that it became apparent that these glasses are decidedly not Japanese.
The reason I have given 2* instead of 1* is because the person I gifted the glass to was happy with the gift, and it did come in a nicely presented gift box. It was of a normal whisky glass size, which it sounds like other customers might not have received, so I am grateful for that.
It’s just a disappointment that the company is parading themselves as authentically Japanese when they are not, and that the glasses are marketed as ‘hand-crafted’ when they are clearly made from glass moulds. You can actually see the seam in the glasses where the moulds have been placed together.
