Brilliant experience on new Mac
Brilliant experience in purchasing a replacement MacBook, price was excellent process simple and everything as promised. Ordered on a Saturday night, order confirmation sent Sunday, further email confirming everything and that dispatch would be that day. Tuesday another email confirming delivery today, which it was, brilliant.
Also received an email on Tuesday after delivery with details on setting up, transferring Macs etc.
This is jut not Apple service level.
Pretty frustrating experience in the Nottingham shop. Decided on a MacBook Air M2 - their easiest customer by far on the day I guess. It then went downhill - I was charged (the money left my account) from the 'wrong machine'. So they had to credit it and charge me again on a separate (the right one). It took 24 hours for the credit to arrive - so all good. But the digital reciept (for VAT purposes) did not. I had to email them (they told me in the shop it would arrive automatically). If you are going to differentiate when you can't alter the Apple pricing - the service needs to be exceptional. This is just not.

Think twice
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with KRCS, and I must say it was one of the most frustrating and disappointing encounters I've had with a retailer. I placed an order with them, excitedly expecting to receive my product within a day, as promised by their customer service representative.
However, reality struck hard when my eagerly anticipated item took an entire week and a day to arrive at the shop in princes quay. This blatant disregard for the promised time left me feeling deceived and frustrated. The lack of communication from KRCS regarding the delay only added to my dissatisfaction, as I was left out of the know about the situation which is utterly unacceptable. When I attempted to contact them, I was met with only ‘I apologise’ which quite frankly didn’t cut it when I’ve spent nearly a thousand pounds.
On the flip side, the members of the staff in the shop were polite and eager to help, yet their company seemed to let them down with their poor communication.
I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before choosing KRCS as their preferred supplier. Stick with curry’s or Apple directly.
Impressive!
Very impressed! Ordered an iMac that was out of stock pretty much everywhere and received it the next day. Great prices and customer service when contacted. Highly recommend, even more so than Apple's website.
Excellent prices, good customer service but bad courier choices
Customer service is great, DHL let them down as the whole delivery thing was a bit of a mess but Daniel handled it like a pro. Great price, I wouldn’t of got it anywhere else at the price that I paid that’s for sure!
Order not delivered
I was on a high hope that because they are "legit" apple distributor they could deliver my order on a date they've promised. However, given that all other distributors have their products and even apple can deliver on the same day for your order, I was wondering why KRCS can't do that. The update on my order was, should be fulfilled in November, but it's already December and yet it's the same date on their platform. It's frustrating to wait knowing that the product is available elsewhere. If they can't fully commit to their customers they should avoid accepting orders beyond their control. It's a shame to experience this with them. I thought they're really legit.

Never again
Purchased iPhone over a month ago, since order placed status hasn't changed from "processing at store". Asked them many times about an update, they customer support said yes, sorry we have 4-8 million weeks to deliver, nothing in stock bla bla bla... yet, as I have checked you can have it in Apple store or Currys delivered within 48 hours to your door or any local store for pickup/collection. How does that work ?

Impeccable 2 year warranty on MacBooks - even better than Apples own offering
I was worried when after 15 months of ownership of my MacBook Pro that I would be outside of warranty support on my screen failing. After reaching out Henry assured me that they cover all products beyond the 1 year standard Apple warranty and they offer 2.
I sent on Monday and it was back fully working in perfect condition on Friday
It can be so daunting when something so expensive has an issue, hopefully anyone reading this can be assured that the aftercare and service from KRCS is of a very very high standard and they’ve got your back!

My phone stopped charging last night and I did what I could from home to troubleshoot the issue. Went in today for a service appt and told the tech what I had and hadn’t tried (I suggested from a bit of googling that it might be an issue with the charger port). He went out back to undertake a “start-up test” and came back to say my phone was unresponsive and that my best option was to buy a new handset at £375. I tried mobile lab a couple of doors down (recommend!) and the first thing the guy there did was pick a bit of fluff out of my charger port and my phone was all good again, didn’t feel the need to charge me for it either. At best a very expensive mistake and at worst trying to get me to part with a lot of money for no good reason. I made a complaint in store but I am not convinced the person I spoke to acknowledged what an huge oversight this was from my perspective.

Problems sorted
I rarely write reviews and even when I do its mostly something critical and definetely not positive. So far I cannot praise them enough. KRCS only came up on my radar because you can buy stuff with klarna so I bought a macbook pro becuase ... why not right? 6 monnths £200 monthly payments for 6 months. Ordered one but placed the wrong order. I wanted a different color than what I had on my invoice. Emailed them and got a response back withing an hour or so. Very friendly representative I think his name was Russel, got it all sorted he said becuase of the late notice or whatever I might not get it the next day. But I did. And the correct color as well. So far I was very impressesd. But when I opened the box and turned it on boom a biga$$ vertical line down the middle. I was in shock and couldnt believe it but went back to Russel and I was assured that everything is going to be taken care of and he explained what will happen. They had to check the laptop for whatever but he assured me once thats done I'll receive the new one asap. There was a weekend inbetween but here I am on Monday writing my little review as a happy little bunny from my stupid macbook pro. I hate this thing becuase its an apple so god knows whats what all the buttons are messed up and nothing works the way as on a normal windows PC but nontheless my laptop was swapped and my issues were sorted and in my book thats how you can judge a company when something actually goes wrong so they got a big butterfly and a little star as well. They have delivered. No pun intended. Couldnt be happier this macbook doesnt have a line down the middle of its screen which is great. And I've got the correct color again. So they have dealt with an idiot so well I was so impressed.

Visited last Friday for some support/advice with replacement a key for my MacBook Air. The member who of staff who approached was very awkward, rude and unhelpful. Was abruptly told that my mac was too old that they would not replace the keys, then asked if they had any experience of changing MacBook keys he replied saying “no” and said nothing else. Could understand why the shop was empty on a Friday afternoon as was a very unwelcoming environment.

Another year, another accolade……4 years ago I visited this shop and was…
4 years ago I visited this shop and was blown away with the service. Today 9th May 2023 I went in with my IPad Air which had frozen and wouldn’t let me reboot or anything at all! SIRI was a complete waste of time…do not understand the question!!! And several more useless comments. However, yet again an amazing member of staff, a young man called Tyrese, took my iPad and within literally one second handed it back sorted!!! Now for two days I had held the off button AND the volume button knowing that should put me onto the ‘apple’ but it didn’t……I had done an incorrect sequence! And Tyrese, instead of telling me I was a ‘numpty’ was so polite telling me it happens to others, and it was not a problem….so polite and so very pleasant. I forgot to even ask what I owed! I will phone tomorrow and ask, but I suspect he will say..no charge as it was a couple of seconds.
I strongly, again recommend this store and its staff. THANK YOU SO MUCH Krcs Princess Quay HULL.
