forced me to pay extra for exchanging a different size

I bought sale item for my husband from Krishna on Sunday but the size was wrong. So I took it back for an exchange the next day. Upon entrance I asked one of the sales lady if it's ok for exchange and was told yes. So when we got the right size, they had told us that the item is no longer on sale and I now have to pay the difference of 20% off from the original price. Never had that experience of PAYING EXTRA for an exchange because the sale finished even though I already paid it on the day the sale was on. Did they scam me for extra money ?

I bought a Nehru waistcoat last week

I bought a Nehru waistcoat last week. Wore it for 4 hours at a wedding function and the neck is all frayed. Took it back, Nilesh at the checkout said sorry cannot take anything back that has been worn, because we don’t know what you have done with it. I repeated it was worn at a wedding function for 4 hours the neck should not do this it is faulty. He refused to do anything and gave me his name and number to contact trading standards!

Dear Customer.

Many thanks for your message above. As per our Store policy we do not accept return of worn and misused items. We would have happily provided you an exchange for item in its sold condition. Threatening us with posting negative social media on leaving is something that you are entitled to. But please don't use items and then return them to any business not just ours.

Kind regards

Krishna Sarees

From your points:

1) Our range of Traditional Navratri Chaniya Cholis Sets is from £35 to £70. This equates to a starting price of approx 3000 Rupees. No where near the 50,000 Rupees you state above.

2) All our goods in our shop are sold as seen. We have different ranges for different budgets. We also have fitting rooms for trial of outfits to ensure suitability.

3) All tailoring is always additional cost as every person will have different or no tailoring requirements. It sounds like someone at the store tried to help and think of a solution for you because you didn't want to pay additional tailoring by suggesting the use of safety pins on blouses - many of our customers use method on Traditional Navratri outfits. But again that's an option and if you wanted a proper fitting & finishing done then you could have gone to one of the many tailors.

4) You have mentioned you were lied to regarding Krishna Sarees having their own tailor but as you were told in store we do not have an in house tailor or we do not recommend tailors. If you want any tailoring done we provide details of or show you many tailors on our street who freelance, they charge you directly depending on what is needed. They also have their sample work for you to view for you to make your own decision.

We accept all feedback and will always look to serve our customer properly.

Many thanks

Never shop with krishna sarees. Krishna sarees are bad and mean people.

Krishna sarees are bad and mean people. Very rude with customers. They do not care for customer other than themselves. Only want to loot customer and make a fool of them. They charge £49 to £59 for 1. Navratri chaniya choli . That is 50,000 Indian rupees for which they have actually paid only 400 rupees per piece. This chaniya cholis material is too bad and very cheap that they are ripped up from everywhere. No buttons on.blouses or strings comes off from blouses and owner asked me to use ssfety pins to tie up blouse. I want him to wear chaniyo and blouse and use a szfery pin to tie up and see how he could wear it ripped blouse. They do not provide gold and white strings for chaniyo as well. There is no lining in chaniyo to cover the threads and embroiderey. They have a tailor but charge customer seperately for altetaration. After charging so much they ask customer to pay more money for alteration. They should have provide alteration to customer size and fitting. But instead he told me he do not have tailor. What a liar. Telling lies to a customer.I can clearly see that they have a tailor. Very bad people. No one one should buy any items from them .

Great Customer Service!

I bought 8 Sarees and 4 Kurtas for a wedding - my first Indian wedding. They turned out to be beautiful, and arrived very on time. I bought extra Sarees to see which one I wanted to select and then refunded the others and the refund process was so smooth and easy. Krishna Sarees have great customer service and I will be back!!
