Fantastic Experience (No, Really, It Was Actually Fantastic!)

We're not kidding, folks! Everything went off without a hitch, and we're still grinning from ear to ear. John, our trusty guide, showed up on time (miracles do happen!), and was like a walking encyclopedia of awesomeness. He shared his life stories, and we were riveted (who needs Netflix when you have John?!). He was very knowledgeable about animals and birds in all the national parks we visited.

The trip was so smooth, we are pretty sure we heard angels singing in the background. And the best part? No meltdowns, no lost luggage, no "I forgot my passport" moments (okay, maybe just one, but John had a spare... just kidding!).

All joking aside, we can't recommend this experience enough. It was the real deal, and we are already planning our next adventure with Kubwa Five Safaris. If you want a trip that's actually fantastic, look no further!

Kubwa Five Safaris went out of their way to ensure that my son and I had an experience of a lifetime. From the beginning, they were in regular contact with us as the safari was carefully planned. They were flexible and accommodating. Our trip took us through Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania. As we entered each country we were paired with an expert guide for that location, who made certain we enjoyed each day of our vacation. The guides shared their knowledge of the animals, geography, and culture of the area and welcomed our questions. In addition to viewing animals, we were also able to visit cultural centers, a museum, and an orphanage/school. We explored on foot, bike, boat, hot air balloon, and safari vehicle. We felt safe and confident in our guides' driving skills as they navigated the rough roads. We had an exceptional trip and if I am fortunate enough to return one day, I will be reaching out to the kind people at Kubwa Five.

Initially we did not really know what to expect, so we bombarded Kubwa Five Safaris with what might have been considered to be an unreasonable amount of questions - where to go, what would we see, where would we stay, and who would travel with us. Every time we asked a question the team responded incredibly quickly and were happy to answer the many follow-up questions that we had. Ultimately, we decided to travel as a couple with one of their local guides who would accompany us and drive us from location to location over the course of our 12 day trip. The Kubwa Five Safaris team were happy to customize the itinerary to make the absolute most of our time in wonderful Namibia (even when we asked them to add a last minute game drive before going to the airport to fly home). Our guide Angelo did an amazing job looking after us. Not only did he take the pressure away from the daily driving on unpaved roads, but he was our nature/cultural/city/history expert, and with him our unforgettable trip exceeded our every expectation. We started on a high at a private game reserve, before spending a further three days in Etosha National Park. After having spent two interesting days in Damaraland we moved on to Swakopmund with the German history before tackling the dunes in a 4x4 around Walvis Bay. Our final couple of days were spent in Deadvlei climbing "Big Daddy", overnighting in the Kalahari, before returning to Windhoek for the flight home... twelve amazing days filled with experiences of a lifetime and we cannot thank Kubwa Five Safaris enough for being with us every step of the journey. We are already thinking of where to go next with this amazing agency :-)

Kubwa Five Safaris made experiencing Rwanda safe, easy and fun!
From our earliest contact with them, they were always quick to respond to questions via email. We felt their communication was clear and the final contract very accurately reflected our actual safari experience. They also went above and beyond by providing transportation services within Kigali and outside the city. The home office kept in contact with us via a group chat in WhatsApp throughout our time there, which added a nice sense of care and added security.
The safari itself was exactly as advertised or even exceeded our expectations. Smith, our driver and tour guide, was very friendly, upbeat, helpful and service-minded. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and were comfortable. He was also always there to pick us up early, and was very knowledgeable about the animals and other sights that we saw within their cultural contexts. It was the little touches like this, listening to African music as we rode and the multiple local food options along the way that made it so enjoyable.
Accommodations were outstanding! The hotel we stayed in was beautiful, and the food options there were delicious. Staff were attentive, friendly and courteous.
Kubwa Five Safaris are a good value for the cost, and we would definitely book with them again if we return to Rwanda or go to another country where they provide services.

My first words on returning home were to say, « I wish I could go back again tomorrow ! »
That is saying something after just having completed an over 4000kms rough road trip in 12 days all over the country.
Everything was just perfect, from the welcoming at the beginning to the final fairwell goodbyes at the end! John, my guide, was excellent and looked after me so well that I didn’t have to do anything at all, which was fantastic after many years of travelling alone and having to take care of everything myself.
The Itinerary was very well put together and around almost every corner was a new adventure waiting. The days simply flew past far too quickly, inspite of the number of hours on the road.
I loved all the lodges selected for me, each one totally different but nothing I would want to change. I particularly liked the drive up to the Epupa Falls on the Angolian border and the lodge there. I expect not so many visitors get there, but it is well worth the long drive.
We saw all of the big 5 and many more as well, in their natural surroundings.
The final fling form me was 2 days of relaxation (or maybe not) at the Okavanga Delta Botswana, also arranged exceptionally well by Kubwa-Five-Safaris, which shows that they manage more than 1 country at a time very competently!

The 3 day Rwandan gorilla and golden monkey safari was a thrilling and wonderful experience. Kubwa Safaris was very accommodating and flexible. We did everything and more than what I could have imagined. Tour guide (Smith) was very helpful and friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the trip was as perfect as could be. Accommodations were wonderful and transportation was prompt and efficient.

Entering the van and listening to Afrobeats was a great first impression. I confirmed that we made the right choice and that what was to come would be unforgettable thanks to an excellent guide named Silas.

Always caring for us and answering our many curious questions, we immersed ourselves in nature and were able to observe and adore elephants, buffalos, giraffes, rhinos, hippos and a wide variety of birds among other animals. We also visited the Murchison Falls, a breathtaking place and take a boat trip on the river Nile.

In short, a wonderful few days to discover, connect, find peace and tranquility.

What a blast to have experienced a 3-day Murchison Falls safari trip with Kubwa Five Safaries! The people behind the titles were super communicative throughout the whole procedure, open and willing to listen to our needs, up-to-date and extra kind. We were lucky enough to have been accompanied on this journey by the contagiously energetic Silas, who took the best care of us during our trip. Prioritizing our needs and wishes, trying his best for us to catch a glimpse of our beloved wild animals, being extra flexible with the schedule, and always there giving us engrossing insights. Couldn't have asked for a better team for this magnificent experience, highly recommend them to whoever's into experiencing the wildlife while tuning in great vibes!

Three days and we made memories that will last a lifetime—it’s hard to put into words the magic and excitement that define this wonderful trip. Our guide, Silas, was a gem of a gentleman, a fantastic driver, a knowledgeable and interesting guide who always knew how to answer our many questions. From day 1 we were in capable hands with one of the sweetest and kindest young men I have had the privilege to meet and spend time with. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we saw what we most wanted to see and tirelessly explained so much to us about the African wildlife, Ugandan culture, and so much more. We now feel we have a special friend in Uganda—Silas has a special place in our hearts!

I can’t begin to express my gratitude for the excellent communication we had the entire time with the company and our guide. This is an organization that cares about the people they are working with, and I highly recommend them! Loved this trip so much!

My only regret is that I didnt spend more time in Uganda. I was taken care of the moment I was picked up at Entebbe Airport to when I was dropped off. It was an amazing trip where I got to meet the people and soul of Uganda. Everyone was so kind and friendly. My driver Samuel, became a friend, not just a driver with great conversations about Uganda, Africa and Life. Trekking into see the gorillas was an awesome, inspiring experience, not soon forgotten. I joined 5 others and we met at the ranger station. While waiting we were treated to songs and sance from the local community. The guides and rangers were educated, very friendly and very helpful in supporting this 59 year old guy on the trek to see the gorillas. I did the community walk to meet the locals which included meeting the Batwa pigmy tribe that untill recently was living a VERY primitive life in the jungle. You will be in great hands if you choose Kubwa 5 Safari for all your travel needs in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. These guys are the BEST !!!!

My husband and I booked a 5 day safari with Kubwa Five Safaris and had an excellent experience. From picking us up at the airport to dropping us off, everything was well planned out and well executed. The meals, excursions, accommodations, transportation, etc was all taken care of for us. It was so wonderful to be able to relax and fully take in the safari experience and not have to worry about the logistics, because there's a lot that goes into it! It was all very well organized. We had a well laid out itinerary emailed to us with all the info we needed prior to the trip. Communication was great, we were able to get all of our questions answered prior to the trip.
Our guide, Mukisa Silas, was wonderful. He truly made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. When we would go on an excursion he would always speak with whoever was in charge and make sure everything was good and that my husband and I were taken care of. It was like he was dropping his kids off at their first day of school and he wanted to make sure everything was good to go before leaving us! I ended up getting car sick on one of our drives (tip: bring Dramamine) and he was genuinely concerned about me and willing and ready to do anything to help me feel better. He drove slow the rest of the drive and I'm sure it took longer than planned to get to our destination, but it really did help me feel better.
He takes his job very seriously, and is committed to ensuring his clients have a trip to remember. It is very evident that he puts his heart into his job and doesn't just go through the motions. He really does care about the client and their experience.

I would absolutely recommend Kubwa Five Safaris to anyone. We have memories to last a lifetime!

When we arranged our trip, Joseph was very responsive and helped my wife get her visa. During the trip, our guide Samuel is a soft- speaking considerate gentleman. Generally speaking, in comparation with its neighbors, Uganda’s infrastructure is weak(especially the bumping road) , but its people are extremely warm-hearted, and its food is purely organic. We came on rain season, so the animals in Queen Elizabeth Park were sparse, while the Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking became easier, we found the gorilla in impenetrable park within 30 minutes.

Kubwa 5 did an amazing job planning our safari vacation. We had them arrange a 7 day trip through Zambia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe that had a variety of activities from game drives, river cruises, quad biking, and more. Everything that they planned went super smoothly and all of the places we stayed were great! Kubwa 5 went above and beyond when our flight to Africa was cancelled and rebooked to a day later by rebooking all of hotels and activities to accommodate our unexpected change in plans. We were still able to experience our trip originally as planned thanks to their quick action to help us. We would definitely book with them again.

The itinerary was well prepared before our safari, and everything listed there was delivered as promised. It was an ideal adventure, filled with stunning scenery, the Big 5, and nature unlike anything we would ever seen.

The meals on our safari were great, and our guide was knowledgeable and helpful with our questions, in fact he never got tired of our questions. The rooms were pristine, and the bathrooms and showers were of excellent quality.

Kubwa Five Safaris gave us a fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable about animals. The several places which we visited were worth it, we enjoyed amazing scenery. The food was excellent, and the lodges had excellent customer care, meals were great. Thanks to Kubwa Five Safaris for making our vacation memorable.

My husband and I spent 8 days with Uganda safari team . We thank them for their professionalism and diligent efforts, which made our trip to Uganda unforgettable.

My wife and I had a wonderful safari trip two weeks ago in Uganda. I contacted 5 safari operators and evaluated the safari itinerary before the trip. in the end, we decided to select the 8 days safari luxury package from Kubwa 5 Safari. Kubwa 5 team, Joesef and Samuel, greeted us at Entebbe airport and we had a private land cruiser with open top. We went through Lake Mburo, Bwindi Forest, Queen Elizabeth NP and Kibale Forest. We encountered endless wild animals, such Gorilla, Chimpanzees, tree lions and many more. The Kubwa 5 team is excellent, they are very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible when we want to change some stop point. they are also working hard and providing first class services.

One additional point we would like to thank Kubwa 5 team specially: they arranged a heart touching Batwa community visit. Before the trip, Kubwa 5 team informed us that we will visit Batwa community at Bwindi Forest and reminded us to being some gifts for Batwa people. We brought 10 solar powered lanterns from Australia, and Kubwa 5 team worked with local community guide and help us to present the 10 lanterns to 10 Batwa family. it became a heart touching moment when we saw the happy smile of Batwa people.
