My experience with Antonio Lee, L3 Matrix, and Learn Group Ltd has been extremely concerning and financially damaging.

As a training provider in the aesthetics industry, I was approached and offered access to an e-learning platform that was presented as providing Level 3 to Level 7 aesthetics qualifications. I was informed that these qualifications were regulated and could be delivered to students through the platform.

Based on the information provided, I paid £5,000 to gain access and begin offering these courses. However, after conducting further checks and seeking clarification regarding the regulatory status of the qualifications, I became increasingly concerned about the representations that had been made to me.

Following these concerns, I requested a refund and was assured that my money would be returned. Despite repeated promises, I have not received the refund to date.

I hold written evidence, including WhatsApp messages and other communications, relating to the representations made and the subsequent refund assurances.

I would strongly encourage any training provider, academy owner, or educator considering working with Antonio Lee, L3 Matrix, or Learn Group Ltd to carry out their own independent due diligence, verify all regulatory claims directly with the relevant authorities and awarding bodies, and obtain written confirmation before making any payment.

My experience with L3 Matrix / Learn Group Ltd has been extremely disappointing.

I am an aesthetics academy practitioner who delivers CPD-accredited training. In April 2025, I was approached by Antonio Lee, who represented that access could be provided to an L3 Matrix e-learning platform offering Level 3 to Level 7 aesthetics qualifications, which were stated to be Ofqual-regulated.

Based on these representations, I paid £5,000 to enrol onto the platform so I could offer these qualifications to my students. I was informed that Learn Group Ltd was operating under the Ofqual regulatory framework.

After payment, I became concerned about the accuracy of the information provided and subsequently questioned the Ofqual status of the qualifications. Following this, I was promised a refund. To date, my money has not been returned, despite these assurances.

I have written evidence, including WhatsApp messages, supporting the representations made and the refund promise.

Given the seriousness of offering regulated qualifications and the financial impact involved, I believe the information provided to me was misleading. I would strongly advise other training providers to carry out independent verification with Ofqual and the relevant awarding bodies before making any payments.

We’ve been using the L3 Matrix platform since it first launched, and I’m pretty sure we were the very first to sign up. To date, we’ve had over 2,000 students use it without a single issue. The team is constantly providing updates and reliable tech support, which has been invaluable. I honestly can’t thank them enough for helping all of my students succeed.

Oh my god, my training academy has been using L3 Matrix for years. I've just finished a course on there and it's literally was a breeze. The most important part was they connected me up with an insurance company. Can't thank them enough for getting me through my aesthetics career.

I have even been using the L3matrix platform for 3 years, I have never had any issues. This is an amazing, professional platform to use with so much support for students and academies.

The learning course content has carefully been structured in great detail, offering the highest standard of learning.

My students love using the l3matrix and have come back to cheshire Clinical Contour to further their learning and growth within the aesthetics sector.

Lee is fantastic and very prompt in responding. Thanks to L3, I have watched my business grow.

If there was more stars I would pick the absolute highest!!!! I was in a panic last night finding an email I had missed for my course on 3rd June, so I stayed up late to work on it, only to find my account was playing up! So Antonio from L3 matrix absolutely saved my life, fixed my account within a day so I could still attend my course & he even marked it at 11.45pm!!!! Now that is what you call bloody amazing service.. totally put my mind at ease when I was almost having a heart attack & was there for me ASAP!!! Great support, highly recommend and thank you again for everything!!!!!!

Easy system to navigate which looks very professional and learner friendly. This is most certainly the way forward with regards to online learning and assessment. Absolutely thrilled with my results, can’t wait for the practical element and to put this theory into practice!

L3 Matrix is extremely great support for the students as all they need is in one place. You get very high standard videos and pre- study material and Antonio is absolutely brilliant as he made sure I was guided with all properly and professionally what made my experience very easy and pleasant. Will be using them for my own business in the future.
