I have been a customer for a couple of years now and have found their customer service, product support and functionality to be second to none. I have tried other “competitors” who offer similar safety systems compliant with Natasha’s law but they don’t come close when it comes to ease of use, set up and functionality. Labl.it is an amazing product for any busy kitchen, it allows you to quickly print food date labels with a press of the button. the labels contain all the information you will need for running a busy kitchen, it shows the product name, allergen information, expiry dates, who printed it and a barcode for quick reprinting.
you can now even have a report sent to your email daily showing you what products are about to go out of date on that day, as well as a new feature that allows you to create allergen matrix's forms from the meals you produce in the kitchen saving even more on paperwork. the device is easy to use touch screen using an Android platform so simple to use and understand, and you dont have to worry if you damage the device or miss place it as all your labels are stored on the cloud, so when a new device arrives put your login details in and everything is back as it was. if you do happen to have a miss hap with the device, a new one is sent out within 24 hour.
Pricing the unit works out at about £1 per day and if you buy in bulk the labels each label could be as cheap as 1p.
this produce is a must rent for any busy kitchen, it complies with EHO standards of labeling, it also saves on staff wages at the end of each night as no manual writing of labels are required, you can even print in bulk if you have multiple batches of products.
Label.it is a sold 5 out of 5 from me and we use this product in all 3 of our hotels and the chefs love it (event the temp's) have asked where they can get them from.

We have been using Label-it for nearly a year now and im not sure how we managed without it. Labelling is so easy just a touch of a button and no worring if ive forgotten any allergens. It also gives peace of mind in that you can rely on the labels being correct 100% of the time no matter who did the labels from junior chefs up to the head chef.

Honestly, this little machine makes light work of all our kitchen labels, so much quicker and less trouble than scribbling them by hand. The EHO inspector was well impressed too, which is always a bonus, and it keeps costs down for us.

Setting up our labels for the kitchen used to be a bit of a palaver, but this little machine makes it so straightforward. Anyone can just walk up to it and get the right label printed instantly, which really takes the head-scratching out of it for the team.
