Long delivery and way too expensive
First of all, I would like to praise the beautiful design and the appealing cards - I like them very much. I would have liked to order from a retailer in Germany, but unfortunately the cards were sold out everywhere there. As the cards are intended for an invitation to a funeral, prompt delivery was particularly important to me.
Unfortunately, there were considerable delays due to customs clearance. What was particularly disappointing for me, however, was that in addition to the 41.01 euros for the cards, I had to pay a further 16.78 euros in customs duties, taxes and display costs. I therefore paid a total of 58.79 euros for 10 postcards - a high amount, especially as I am now not sure whether the invitations will reach the recipients on time.

Hi Paul, thank you for your kind words about our cards and designs. I understand that the delays due to customs clearance were particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, since Brexit, we have no control over customs charges, and this is standard for everyone. Additionally, shipments are sent via Royal Mail, our national postal service, and again, we have no control over their processes.
Going forward, if you'd like to reorder, please contact us directly so we can assist you where we can. It's quite unusual for all our postcards to be sold out in Germany, as Lagom Design has extensive coverage there through our very active distributor.
