The facilities are wonderful, all you may need is provided with a great welcome basket which was unexpected and very much appreciated. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly so we felt like we were at home.

Stayed in Chaff house for 1 week stay & had a great time exploring Scotland so many different places to visit from the doorstep.
The house was very clean & tidy & we were met with the best welcome hamper ever, with loads of treats & fresh eggs & a nice cold bottle of prosecco in the fridge.
The hot tub was lovely & relaxing after a day of exporing & loved sitting out on a night seeing the stars & even had a glimpse of the milkyway one night. Angela was the perfect host & works very hard to make sure your stay is a memorable one...Thanks again to Angela & family & also for the parting gift until next time keep doing what your doing x

We had a great little escape, stayed over the weekend just what we needed surrounded by lots of animals all very friendly ideal spot for little romantic break or to take young kids for a few days. We spent hours in the hottub each day even when there was alittle rain just added to the experience under the stars. Angela was amazing very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed even alittle surprise which went down a treat! We will be back!

Beautiful stay! We loved our three nights here, amenities and personal touches were carefully considered, had everything we needed and we loved the hot tub, meeting the lovely animals and the views. Would definitely stay again and recommend! Thank you to Angela and family

Laugh Hapton farm holiday is a beautiful place and accommodation was lovely in the houses, but as me and my friends arrived we were judged for arriving 10 mins early (without horses) from Angela the owner of the “horse holiday accommodation” and were made to feel very uncomfortable, stables weren’t ready so we were happy to take on the daily chore for our horses arriving shortly after. I unfortunately was make to feel very unwelcomed as my 5 year old has a bad habit of weaving which has been taken control of by being turned out most of the time and not in stable, Angela was very rude to not understand that she would get all types of horses on her premises which made me feel so judged I was up at 6;30 every morning to turn my horse out so Angela wouldn’t see him, which is not the way I wanted to feel when “on holiday”. As I have had a bad experience up at laugh hapton farm holiday I can’t recommend this place if u are looking to have some chill/ relaxing time with ur horse, I will not return

When me and my friends arrived we were made to feel we were doing something wrong and was made to feel we didn’t know anything and to Angela’s no knowledge, between us we have extensive knowledge in different disciplines and care of horses so we know what to do with our horses and what they require at every moment and we have been on horsey holidays before and this place doesn’t even come close the accommodation and hacking was lovely don’t get me wrong but that’s all I can say, and I didn’t appreciate when my mare got stuck in a hay net (because Angela wouldn’t accommodate my mare after me suggesting what I could do, my mare was the only mare and has problems with back legs and needs constant movement and not stuck in a stable “like a stay away show” as advertised even tho it’s a holiday to enjoy as my horse lives out in summer and is only in during the winter over short periods of time- feel like I had to explain that as she didn’t get it and said no it’s dangerous as i suggested electrical fencing to fence off a bit of the turnout pen but it wouldn’t be electrified so wouldn’t cause any problem as my mare knows better yes she’s dominant but she respects boundary’s) and when she saw my mare proceed to stand and tell me about why not to use haynets and putting hay on the floor before helping once my friends came to help she got scissors, but as for stables weren’t prepared for us coming and she expected our horses to lie on concrete with one bag of shavings she provided in which between us all either bringing shavings or buying them from Angela for the 3 nights in my horse didn’t lie down and effected her legs because of it and she then question why all this bedding, YES not many people would do this for a short stay but I’m not going to let my horse lie on concrete. In result I can’t recommend this place if your wanting to bring your horse as not very wide versed in different horses needs. I can personally say I wouldn’t be returning

Accommodation at Laigh Hapton is beautiful.
However, the proprietor Angela made us feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable for the majority of our stay. Anything we asked seemed to be a bother despite having never been before. On one occasion, when we asked Angela a question she sharply replied "What is it?" which really took me a back. She had no insight or understanding of what a horse holiday actually meant or should entail and was obviously way out of her depth. There was no communication or understanding of horses basic needs. Personally, I will not be returning and would not recommend anyone brings their horses to this place as it was novicely run and badly managed for highly paying customers.

So perfect cabin was clean and cosy hot tub was amazing along with the fire pit peace and quiet was unreal and views are incredible ,, Angela was so welcoming and helpful

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Very warm welcome from Angela who showed us round the hayloft and our hot tub. Absolutely loved all the animals - especially lying in bed and hearing the peacocks! The hot tub was tranquil- the setting and the lighting was just so beautiful. It's so SO quiet, which we loved. The hayloft is such a lovely little space and the bed is VERY comfortable. Angela was so helpful before and during our visit and nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to visit again :)

Laigh Hapton farm was the best staycation I’ve had in a long time! Me and my partner stayed in the Hayloft and it was just so cosy and gorgeous. We loved seeing all the animals around the farm as we had a tour with the owners son who is a lovely and very welcoming man! I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet time away, I cannot fault this place and we will 100% be back in the future! (Bob the cat is the one to look out for🤭)

Stayed two nights with my sons and my niece. We all absolutely loved it. Angela provided a high chair and travel cot for my baby which made travelling a lot lighter. The Chaff was so homely and welcoming. My son loved the chill room upstairs and he wants to come back for his birthday! The hot tub out on the decking is just great and we all enjoyed this. Would definitely recommend the farm tour to meet and feed the animals! Loved being so close to all the animals and the dogs, Jess and the new pup Smokey.
Will definitely be back. Xx

We had the loveliest of stays at Laigh Hapton Farm Holidays. Angela was a super honest and was easily contactable. The location was beautiful, and perfect for a relaxing, secluded weekend. The accommodation was well equipped, and the hot tub under the stars was magical! Angela left lots of nice touches to our stay, such as the welcome pack, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again. Thank you so much!

Great 2 night stay Angela and her family are so lovely and on hand to help if you need them ,my two kids enjoyed meeting all the animals and the hot tub was a bonus also the sunsets are amazing had a amazing time

Stayed for 2 nights in the hayloft and it was absolutely brilliant! Host was great, we got to see some horses, very friendly doggy’s! Hot tub was brilliant! Would highly recommend. Place was clean and tidy and was also left a welcome gift of treats and eggs!

What a fabulous location for a relaxing holiday. A beautiful cottage with everything you need, including a very thoughtful Welcome Pack. We loved spending time in the hot tub enjoying the stunning views and watching the sunset.
Angela and Stuart, our hosts, made us feel very much at home.
We didn’t get a chance to try out the wide range of activities they offer on site but that’s a good excuse to come back again!

We had such a lovely week staying at the Hayloft. The cottage was so cosy with the most comfiest bed! Hosts couldn't be more welcoming, and the hamper was such a thoughtful touch. We were lucky enough to spend nights in the hot tub under the stars and see the shooting star, or space dust the papers are calling it! We are definitely planning on coming back. Just spent a week at Laigh Hapton with my wife and 13 year old daughter. It was perfect for us size wise if snug in the hayloft. Any bigger would need to book the chaff house. The hospitality was first class and the welcome basket amazing. If you like animals and view from the hot tub this place is for you. I never thought a holiday in Ayrshire would be so good.

We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday at Laigh Hapton, the location was so stunning and peaceful, the property beautifully equipped. Our teenage son has ASD and complex issues but he relaxed so much, loved the hot tub and especially the horse riding with Angela! We look forward to returning.
