Fast shipping , easy to use website.

I ordered a few items from Lakeside on line as I like to shop at independent tackle shops. My order was confirmed and money taken from my account at the point of order. I received confirmation of my order and thought great next working day delivery so should arrive Tuesday as I ordered on Sunday night. Tuesday came and no confirmation of shipping or out for delivery. I E Mailed Wednesday and no answer by Thursday afternoon so I called the shop. Had a lovely conversation and was told that two of the four items were not in stock I should have received an E Mail explaining this. (No E Mail received) and I was going to get a partial refund and the other items will be sent. I requested the order to be cancelled and refunded which was not a problem for the shop but my refund is now going to take an extra 10 days to process. I’m not annoyed just disappointed at the lack of communication and lack of timely response to a refund. Will try somewhere else and hope to get better results. It is no surprise that small tackle shops are disappearing as the customer service for on line sales is just not working as well as big companies like Angling Direct.

Paid for order then was told they did not have it in stock. Received alternative but postage was extortionate.

I have to say I cannot fault the service as it was first class my reason for only 3 stars is the cost of postage which apparently meant I would receive a re-useable tube that the floats I ordered would come in, well they didn't they arrived in a small cardboard box with a £2,56 postage stamp not £8 whether they ran out of tubes or this is their interpretation of a tube no way was the postage worth that amount of money therefore NO I wont be using this company again as I feel I was ripped off not a good feeling and lighter in the pocket too.

One of best companies I have ordered from nice one for your sales, keep up the outstanding work top effort all.

Whenever I order from Lakeside I know my order will be delivered quickly and well packed. Visiting the shop itself is equally as good. All staff are friendly and very knowledgable about the surrounding lakes. Stock is good and varied and Lakeside Angling is a credit to independent tackle shops that we must all support

Lakeside angling supplies isn't out closest tackle shop but we always go here there is everything for all kinds of fishing styles, we love how friendly professional and knowledgeable the staff are and how they always smile and take time to make sure your happy with what you want and also show you the cheaper option of your shopping on a budget

It goes without saying they have the best maggots going we've had the same maggots for a week they are great for catching fish,

Tbh we wouldn't go anywhere else for our tackle and bait.
