Lakeside angling supplies isn't out closest tackle shop but we always go here there is everything for all kinds of fishing styles, we love how friendly professional and knowledgeable the staff are and how they always smile and take time to make sure your happy with what you want and also show you the cheaper option of your shopping on a budget

It goes without saying they have the best maggots going we've had the same maggots for a week they are great for catching fish,

Tbh we wouldn't go anywhere else for our tackle and bait.

Great up and coming tackle shop, Danny has really grafted over the past couple of years and his hard work really shows.
Fresh bait, fishing gear at all different price points, a tackle hire for kids, fountain of knowledge and always available for a chat to offer advice.

Always good to visit Lakeside Angling. Over the past couple of years this business has expanded to be one of the best tackle shops in the area. Staff are friendly, and also knowledgable, especially about the lakes. Stock level is varied and does not just cater for the immediate waters, which is nice as we normally need a few bits for river fishing which are always available. Mail order is also a bonus, and if it's not in stock doesn't mean they will not locate and stock it for you. We all need to support local tackle shops, and when they are as good as Lakeside Angling, it is always a pleasure. They also have a brilliant member of staff, known as Molly Dogason, a beautiful Labrador who makes you visit even more special.

Lakeside was very helpful when I asked some questions and very prompt with the answers I shall be buying more products from them thankyou

Well what can I say about Lakeside Angling Supplies we've become loyal customers because of how great the store is! Danny the owner is amazing friendly and very knowledgeable and very honest,
All of the staff are amazing there and nice and friendly and very knowledgeable but only reason I mentioned Danny by name is because the first time we came in he helped is loads and is the main reason we got into fishing.

I highly recommend this tackle shop and they literally have the best maggots around we never fail to catch with his maggots,

All good except only half my basket was actually available. Refund was granted but if I’d known that I would have ordered cheaper elsewhere given the shipping charge. Main reason I bought here was because everything I needed was available

I visited the shop during a trip to the lakes on site and found the shop very welcoming and helpful. Stocked the items I use aswell and staff was very friendly and full of information.
Definitely will use again keep up the good work

My first time visting lakeside, popped in to get some tackle and i was blown away by dannys knowledge and passion! Left the shop alot lighter in the pocket but hopefully a better fisherman watch this space
