WARNING. DO NOT BUY FROM LAKIQ

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY – THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

I ordered a coffee table in July and only received it in October after repeatedly chasing them for updates.

When the table finally arrived, it had broken parts, missing instructions, and even the wrong components.

I contacted customer service to report the issues. They sent me assembly instructions for a completely different table.

For the damaged and incorrect product, they initially offered a 5% refund, which I refused. After I escalated the issue with PayPal, they increased the offer to 20%. However, they blackmailed me, insisting I close my PayPal case before they would issue the refund—on the condition that I keep the faulty table.

PayPal later instructed me to return the item. The company first refused to provide a return address, and when I finally received one through PayPal, the courier quoted £80 for return shipping.

To avoid further hassle, I reluctantly accepted the 20% refund and closed my PayPal case. But as soon as I did, Lakiq refused to pay the refund.

This company is dishonest and untrustworthy.
Do NOT buy anything from Lakiq.com.
Stay far away from these fraudsters!

Terrible quality and terrible customer service

I ordered a desk for my son. It arrived a month later yan quoted with very limited tracking information and no updates. When it arrives the box was in extremely poor condition. Quite frankly it looked like someone else's return. It also stank of rotten fish. On opening the package, it was clear that the parts were all damaged. We took photos and sent to customer services. I requested them to arrange a return for a full refund. Instead I was offered a 5%refund, a free water bottle and a few replacement parts. Stay far away from this company.

Ordered a console table from this…

Ordered a console table from this company £180 took months to arrive,
When the box was opened the mdf top was all damaged on the back edge of the top and marked on the front edge
We requested a refund as this console was obviously poor quality materials and would not stand the test of time? I am a joiner and know the different type of mdf and this is made from the softest type and definitely not moisture resistant
We have been offered discounts, replacements but have insisted on refund but the will not entertain this and ignore our request and keep coming back with ridiculous offers
Avoid this company at all costs

Sunday 9th November. still fighting for a full refund for this awful damaged piece of furniture they have offered me £55.40 !

Complete Scam Company - Do not order anything!!

Terrible experience working with this company. I ordered two entry benches. Their customer service told me the benches were actually sold out and offered me a store credit and slight discount to order something else. I looked through their site but didn’t see anything else that fit my needs and asked for a refund. They told me they could not refund me, only “cancel my order” for a 20% handling fee. I spent over a week trying to get a full refund since they were the ones who couldn’t fulfill my order and in the end they only refunded me 90% of my money, saying they would keep 10% for a “handling fee”. I feel totally scammed by them and want to warn others so they don’t steal anyone else’s money.

Super long delivery time.

Product is of a lower to mid grade quality, and delivery took nearly 2 months. I ordered one very small sink, and was very surprised at how long it took to deliver.

Incorrect item was sent

Incorrect item was sent. After sending pictures and confirming that the item was NOT what I ordered, Lakiq said that it WAS correct and that they didn't make any mistake.

I was willing to wait for the long delivery period, I would have even been understanding if they said 'we're sorry we made a mistake.' But what infuriated me was the unblinking statement that they sent the correct item and they offered no further explanation or apology.

What a crappy company.

I ordered a table and then cancelled within an hour. They charged me 10% for doing so. I think this is very bad customer service.

Stay away from Lakiq

Two months after placing my order, I finally received the office desk. It arrived in a crate, but all the components inside were loose and completely unpackaged. The product quality was extremely poor; items were bent, and the shelves were broken. Despite clear damage, customer support insisted I prove I had broken the crate myself. This entire experience was a waste of time. Do not order anything from this company; it is a complete scam!

However, I must point out that under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the French Consumer Code (Articles L221-18 to L221-24 and L217-3), I am entitled to a full refund, including any delivery fees, in cases where the product is defective, not as described, or non-compliant with the advertised specifications.

As I have already informed you, the item I received is not as described / defective. Therefore, according to these legal provisions, all return and refund costs must be borne by the seller, not by the consumer.

I therefore request:

1. A full refund of the amount paid (including initial shipping).

2. A prepaid return label or clear instructions for return at your expense.

Please confirm that you will cover the return costs and issue a full refund once the product is returned.
If no satisfactory response is received, I will submit a formal complaint to European Consumer Centres (ECC-Net) and relevant consumer protection authorities.

They are scammers

Never buy from Lakiq again

I wish I’d read the reviews for Lakiq before our purchase. A disaster and complete product misrepresentation. The makeup vanity was represented as wood. It was a pressed fiberboard with decal overlay. Furniture from pictures to what’s provided looks different. Cheap looking. Panels are a different color than frame. Nothing shared during order process for delivery timeframe until order placed. Then it wasn’t shown till a week later and it took 36 days to arrive. Upon arrival box had broken open durning transport parts jammed back into box and taped. No instructions. No letter or number keys on parts. Hardware very cheap compared to price of product. Emails to company are replied with apologies and nothing to resolve issue other than additional questions. Requested refund or credit and wouldn’t address in replies. I’ll never deal with Lakiq again. Be very careful if you choose to purchase their products.

This website is an absolute scam: avoid it!
I've lost $800.
Ordered an office desk that took 6 weeks to get shipped from China and package arrived completely destroyed. I'm at my 80th email with the service support to get my maximum 40% refund since I took a shipping insurance. Can't expect much more...
