We purchased a toy poodle from a Pennsylvania-based breeder and for months now have been trying to help this poodle get rid of Giardia. It has been a nightmare and exhausting trying to get this puppy well, we hope she gets better soon. Our first visit to the vet we learned our poodle had coccidia and giardia. We have spent so much money on vet visits etc. I regret that I did not do my homework and ask more questions. After our purchase we learned our puppy was never given proper treatment to prevent giardia and we learned the breeder is relatively inexperienced at breeding. When talking on the phone with the breeder we requested pictures of the parents and the breeder said he would show us the parents but never did. I will never purchase a puppy through Lancaster puppies ever again and would never recommend to anyone I know.

We had been looking for a female, small breed puppy, at a reasonable cost, for almost a year.
We are from Rhode Island and the shelters in our area, rarely had any small breed puppies and of the ones that did, they were outrageously high priced.
I had one heart break, drove halfway but could not make the 8 hr drive because of a health issue, and gave up for a bit, thinking I could not find another “she is the one”
I had been looking at Lancaster Puppies since we started, but only a couple of them really gave me that, “ooooh she is the one”.
We came across “Cherish” and we immediately fell in Love with her.
I called the breeder, Barbara, in the early afternoon and made spur of the moment arrangements to hop in the car and make the 7 hr drive, which turned into a little over 8 hrs, to PA.
It was getting late at night, I hate being late, especially when someone is waiting for me, but Barbara and husband were so hospitable, welcoming and sweet, asking us if we had any questions and wishing us a safe journey home.
It was an immaculate home and property.
The puppy, now Skye, is in great health, happy, spunky and has that wonderful new puppy smell!
I could not have had a better experience!
Thank you so much Barbara 💕🐾💕

Advertised with them for 14 yrs. Looking else where. This entire year, I've had to pay twice for every puppy. Why? Because they DO NOT SHUFFLE THE PUPS. WITHOUT FAIL... Every pup I posted this year is at the bottom. Now my pups don't sell. Lost money. Pay twice. DONT ADVERTISE WITH THEM. *THEY* decide who is at the top and who is at the bottom. There is zero basis or protocol as where your ad falls. It's based on them deciding who stays at the bottom. I posted 18 pups this year and not one of them was ever at the top or in middle. They are very UNFAIR which is another term for DISHONEST.
I got a 5 month old purebred dachshund and he is the sweetest little thing! Every other dachshund on Lancaster Puppies was over $900 at that time, and I got him for $500 because they said he was the only one in the litter that wasn’t a dapple, but when I got him he was a little bit dappled! After I got my dog I recommended Lancaster Puppies to my neighbor and they got a little 3 month old Springer spaniel, and after my neighbor got one my sister got a 4 month old Puggle. Sandy Marlin is the one I got the dachshund from and she was so sweet,
They were fast to deliver our pups and I will be getting more in the future!❤️
If Anyone got a Doberman puppy please let me know who you got him/her from. My dream dog is a Doberman or a Cane Corso!❤️❤️❤️❤️
My review is mostly positive and I will start with the positive positives and then the negatives and make it as short as possible.
Most on both Lancaster and Greenville puppies are Amish breeders, which so far I have found to be very good. I had two or three breeders lined up in case the first one wasn’t to my liking and I would’ve ended with no puppies if I wasn’t happy.
My puppy turned out to be excellent at 15 weeks old. I had a complete work up with my vet who is very good and a parasite and ear mites were found which he said is very common in puppies so we needed a couple of prescriptions and that is the negative Part of it. My vet also told me this is common in all puppies regardless of where theyare bought from. Nobody likes any sickness to start, but again whether it is bought, a breeder pet store or ECT my vet said there will always be a certain amount of risk.
My puppy has a beautiful coat and the vet said her nostrils were 100%, which is pretty uncommon positive in the pug breed and along with that her heart and everything else came out very good. Very intelligent, alert, and almost have potty trained from when I brought her home And shows no signs of any type of anxiety from the transition.
My advice to all would be to research the breeders as much as possible, and make sure the parents are on site. ACA or AKC registered is always better and the parents were registered, but the puppies were not. And above this, make sure your paperwork includes all the vaccination and dewormer information.
I wish I could leave a picture on here because she is an absolute beautiful black pug puppy!

These are Amish and Mennonite puppy mills. Sick dogs infected with Giardia and worms. These pups' parents are treated like livestock. I have been to several of these facilities and its all about quantity not quality. And the pups that don't get sold let's just say they disappear somewhere in the manure pile.
All of the sellers are so shady. I tried to write a review on individual seller profile and it wouldn’t let me! Beware of this site.
A lot of puppy mill puppies if you look at pictures of different dogs types per person selling
Drove 4hrs to pick up my fur baby (8hrs total) just to find out 6 months later he isn’t the dog advertised. The posting was for a black TOY POODLE. He is still in his puppy stage and continued surpassed the size range for the Toypoodle. The kennel I purchased was for the size of extra small dog to miniature poodle and his paws are hanging out. His hair is growing straight and not tight curls. He is a CAVAPOO !
My fist red flag should’ve been not being able to “see dad” when asking questions about the dogs, before the purchase! They assured me he was smaller than mom who was on site and very small (mom was definitely a toy poodle).

Posted my 5 pups... separately... 3 one day. 2 days later. Listed as diff litters on purpose to see the outcome. Paid $25 a piece. My pups are at bottom of page all together. My pups fall within the last 10 pups. Yes I have lots of info, 8-9 pics plus parents pics. Still last. Ads older than mine come before mine. Ads with only one or two pics come before mine. Ads with no parents pics come before mine. They're clearly lying about their protocols. Their controlling who's at the top and who's at the bottom. People are going to continue to complain left and right until they become fair.
This site makes millions every year from breeders posting pups.
Currently they have 5000 pups listed under $500 which means in 45 days they made $100,000 just on the "below $500" category. Think about that. That's only one category. There's 100 or so. Yup Millions. Million millions is what they make. While I sit over here can't sell a litter of 5 pups. Lancaster is clearly thieves and liars.
I also bought a Boston terrier from a breeder advertising on Lancaster puppies and had a good experience. My little Mia is healthy and affectionate. Couldn’t be happier with my decision.
Just rescued a dog who was used as a breeding mama over and over. These dogs on these sites come from mills, the dogs live in filth, they live in cages in barns or sheds and have 0 medical care. Our new girl was flea infested, underweight and has lymes disease-we just found out. These dogs are advertised to be happy, healthy and bred in pristine conditions on a farm. Do NOT support this.
I bought a beautiful Boston Terrier puppy from this site & he is Great. Healthy with a great personality. I had no issues with the site.
Our experience was great! We were absolutely impressed with the quality of care Kristina at Aussie Boutique (in Atlanta) provides for her puppies and adult dogs. We recently purchased an exceptionally well-bred and healthy Australian Shepherd puppy from her using this website and couldn't be happier. She was extremely sweet and knowledgeable, and we unreservedly recommend her and Lancaster puppies website as a great source for a new puppy or adult dog.
I bought my Cavapoo puppy from a breeder in PA. I was hesitant at first because I never purchased a puppy this way. The woman I was decided to get my puppy from was so polite and informative. There was complete transparency and open communication the entire time. I am so relieved everything worked out perfectly!
Amazing Experience bought a cavapoo puppy from this breeder for $750 he was shipped to me for $350 via furrytrails and I would give it 10 starts if I could I was able to pay in cash once i got the dog and he had all his vaccination and was clean healthy and lovely I will be buying another one
My son purchased a French bull dog from a breeder in Fremont,Ohio. I tried to talk him out of purchasing from him. I just had a bad feeling. The price was just to good to be true.My son gets the dog home. We take him to the vet. The vet tries to find out information on dogs health and vaccines no luck. After having the dog for two weeks, the dog has a seizures. Something is clearly wrong our little dog Moncler. Moncler has to see a neurologist now, and I am so scared of what they will find. Greedy for money because this guy is into breeding exotic bulldogs. I believe my dog was abused because when I touch to show him love he trembles, and I not my son have every abused our dogs and appears to be scared.
Had a great experience! All the negative reviews made me caucious, however I am 100% certain of 2 things. 1: Every experience is different. And 2: I noticed and would like to point out the vast overwhelming negative reviews. Have you noticed every single one uses very specific words. "Red Flag" or "Dirty Amish" or "Mennonite Family" and finally "100% puppy mills". Seems to me like if these farmers are willing to breed the dog for a discounted rate than the over priced breeders "such as those charging $1800-$2000 for a mixed breed dog, ie, Goldendoodle" are salty about this because it's impacting their market. I would also troll them constantly. The sympathetic stories you will notice pushes you to take on a stance to help "fight these puppy mills and avoid them" these are posts from people who believe they are activists. You can hear it in the tone and forceful nature to get you on their side. Using phrases to make you feel as if you're doing something wrong for going and buying a dog. These are my observations and I can also assure that you will see the same. My dog is great the mom and dad had full range of the farm, the puppies were running around in a large fensed area with 8 matching cute food and water bowls. Parents were smart, knew a ton of adorable tricks the breeder showed off with pride.
We planned to pick up a mini dachshund puppy yesterday at 12pm. The person we were messaging about the puppy said all was good to be there for 12pm. This was a 3 hour drive for us. Got there at 12pm was then informed the breeder wasn’t gonna be there until 3pm. We waited 3 hours for the puppy when we were suppose to get her at 12pm. Wasn’t happy
My son wanted to get me a Schnauzer cuz my dog passed away the advertised the price and once he got there they raised the $300 and 50 very disappointed I'm upset that he paid that much for a dog that was advertised at a different price took advantage of my loss
