I love my Lance Air Glasses! They're very light (Extra Light Titanium Frame), comfortable, and stylish. They are everything I was hoping for when I chipped in on Kickstarter. Thanks for this great pair of glasses.

My experience with Lance Glasses improved significantly once they realised I was not going to let them get away with ignoring me.
Once they engaged they were very good and we got to the right solution. The quality of the glasses is excellent and I wish them every success. I hope the lesson is learned and others have an easier route. Thankyou for responding so positively

Quite surprised reading the reviews on quality. I personally got a pair of the 'paris' style and the quality is great. I got clip on and they are great as well. I was also worried about paying high duty given some of the other reviews, but it was that high which is surprising in a country like Canada where duties can be notoriously high.

I was offered an adjustment after being two years late on a kickstarter campaign. I didn't have much of an expectation but did make a case regarding the difficult of picking glasses without being able to try them on. Cristine from the service team was very helpful and explained things very clearly and responded very quickly. It would be helpful if Lance offered a virtual try on feature, but they more than make up for it by offering quality at the low price. What did help was to pay attention to the sizes mentioned on the glasses and using other online tools to try out similar styled glasses. Thats how I settled for the 'paris' style for myself

I love my stylish, comfortable Lance Glasses! I moved on from a chunkier frame I wore for a couple of years and I really appreciate the minimalist design/look of the Lance eyewear. Highly recommended for a quality product and outstanding customer service!

I have bad vision which leads to thick heavy lenses (usually I spend $300 USD every 2 years to update my prescription and thin my lenses). I’ve never had comfortable light lenses until Lance. I can focus on my work and trust I don’t have to continuously push up my glasses to adjust it. I usually don’t buy new frames but the Lance ones are beautifully crafted and I’m proud to make it my everyday wear. Seriously my favorite buy and the cost is half of what I usually pay for my glasses! I’m going to definitely get another pair in the future. Thank you very much for all your hard work. Lance made an error on its offer to BackerClub members - they did not ship the premium case and there was no discount voucher with no expiry date. I wrote to them and initially got an unsatisfactory reply but after a few exchanges of emails I received an apology and received this reply:
"Tell me please how can we fix that on our side at this moment in order to apologise and make you happy again. Your satisfaction is important for us and I can assure you we are learning at each step, working always on improvement."

Regarding the glasses (I pledged for the sunglasses), they are great. They are very light and comfortable, and of excellent quality.

This is my second purchase from Lance. The frames look and feel great.

The glasses look terrific but sadly I can’t use them as the prescription seems incorrect & I can’t see with them. I ordered multifocals & I suspect the lenses may have been fitted upside down!

Postscript: Thanks to Lance for reaching out & agreeing to replace the lenses upon provision of a review by my optometrist confirming issue.

I ordered my glasses in January 2020, a few months before the world went into lockdown.
Sending the glasses here at an extra cost didn't feel worth it, so I left it for almost a year. In 2021 I finally decided to have them shipped to me, and I'm really glad I did.
The frames are really high quality and the prescription was perfect. The lenses themselves are also of great quality. Cristina was very helpful in sending me various quotes for shipping costs etc.
All in all, given the price etc., I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've ordered a pair of "super prescription glasses" from Lance Glasses, through a Kickstarter project.
Whilst everything seems (ahem!) to be "running a little late" I have found their Customer Support to be excellent at managing those little flaws in getting what I want - to the extent that when I discovered I'd accidentally ordered the wrong colour frames they cancelled the original order, replacing it with a full-value voucher and thus enabling me to re-order the same lenses with the correct silver frame! Of course they could just have amended the original order ... but that may have been a tad too easy!!
I guess it's always something of a gamble buying new frames at a distance, when you've never tried them on, but you've got to have some faith that they'll 'find a way' to make then right. One interesting fact was that they required something that my prescription didn't include (which SpecSavers had never previously noted) was the pupillary distance (that measurement between the two pupils) and finding an optician just to provide that measurement proved inordinately difficult - without paying for a new eye test. I sincerely hope it allows Lance Glasses to get the overall width of my glasses correct!!
But it seems they're still some 6 weeks away from being delivered, and I've still to find out what taxes I may have to pay to get my glasses from wherever: whilst the shipping was supposedly "free" there was an $85 charge made originally for getting them to the UK, and I'm hoping that was to cover the tax charge and/or the charge made for getting them released from Customs by UPS or similar before they even get to me. This is certainly proving not to be the 'cheaper option' that I originally thought it was going to be.

I ordered two different frames from the Lance Glasses, and I am surprised with the quality of material used, the delicate minimalist design, and the amazing matt finish gold color on the frame.
The customer service was reasonable and quite helpful. I had a long chat with Cristina and she was quite helpful. I am happy with the overall experience.

The customer service of this company is beyond 5*!
I was recommended by my friend whos frame I really liked, so I decided to buy 2 pairs and one of them I mistakenly placed an order of sunglasses lenses and later I contacted customer service realising that I needed normal prescription one. Cristina was beyond helpful in making sure it was changed in time at production site. Although, the deliver had an issue by UPS not by company fault they were kind to apologise.

Cristina is a true asset to the company and she ensures the service delivered by the company is perfect, which is key for small developing business!

Best glasses I've ever had!! If you want a cool pair of glasses I definitely recommend Lance Glasses.

Simply excellent! all the way to product quality, design, customer support, flexibility and all you could need from a vendor/brand. I’ve personally bought 2 pairs of the same model cause i’ve fallen in love with the screen glasses so i came back for sunglasses as well so i can wear them more often 😅 Totally reccommend it!

Absolutely amazing. The customer service is excellent, the quality of the glasses is better than most known designer glasses and the processing time is very fast. I truly recommend buying their glasses and their sun-clip.

Lance glasses is some scamworks company that puts most of its budget into hype and advertising. the product you'll get is nothing sensational or good, or anything you couldn't of gotten in existence elsewhere or locally. Nothing is new - just may have been new for you. And they will charge you for every single step along the way.

The advertised product was blue-light blocking prescription glasses for kickstarter prices. The final price was over 200 USD, with multiple shenanigans of "read the fine print" slammed all over their "customer service". A brief search on google will show you hundreds of complaints about such things.

The product that was delivered was quite flimsy, with the prescription being just slightly off-putting enough to not want to be worn. Almost like a fish-eye kind of distortion, where everything is pulled back.

Christina was the sales rep I tried to deal with, and she was brutally dumb. Circles of emails where she just could NOT comprehend the failure was on their systems end. Although I had demanded refunds several times, Lance denied me over and over.

Finally, on a facebook comment page, somebody mentioned they would give me a refund - but after answering a pile of questions Lance wanted another pile of cash to pay for shipping. I refuted, and just sucked up my losses.

Some scams are just better than others. Some scammers use Kickstarter. This is not Lance first time, and won't be their last.
