Excellent service

Landlord Checks completed a gas safe inspection. I was kept updated throughout the process.
The engineer was professional, friendly and did his job well. I highly recommend.

Ridiculous company, ridiculous service, do not use

Just one fact: gas safety inspection for my boiler was on 11th March and I receive a valid certificate on 7th June!! Ridiculous! Not only this. First engineer who went to service and checked boiler called me a few days later to ask me the brand of the boiler he serviced. I mean... No mention of any problems. My tenants then showed me that the boiler had not been re-assembled properly but LandlordChecks told me they did not need to open the boiler to service it. Apparently only by looking at it, you could service it. Not their fault. And the certificate issued was for a different boiler than mine. I had then to arrange a second visit (another £140) to re-assemble the boiler properly which was not fully done... and I had to wait another few weeks to get my certificate. Now, do I trust what they have done?

Quick and reliable

Quick and reliable. We needed to do a fire risk assessment of communal ares. Was able to book for the next day and the report was ready within 24hrs. Would recommend for anyone wanting quick yet professional services.

Super Fast Service

We needed the FRA done for our new building urgently. Called their customer service around 11am and they arranged someone to be on site in the evening around half 6 same day. Although we had to pay extra for getting this arranged but it was worth. Time was more important for us than the money. Received the report within 48 hours too. Saved us from a big trouble. Definitely be using them again for new projects. Thank you

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WARNING! THEY WILL SCAM YOU. The engineer who attended my property was extremely vague, unhelpful when asked for information on checks and deceiving in his responses. I wanted to ensure everything was safe after his checks and he claimed to have to check his calculations first knowing full well that he was scamming me. I then received an unsatisfactory grade and if I wanted a pass I would have to rehire them at 120£ per hour plus vat. Without any information on how much longer they would need. I then called 3 more companys and shared the report ALL of whom stated that the report was vague, full of typos and incorrectly assessed. In the end someone came and did it for much cheaper and all they had to do was CHANGE LIGHT BULBS and put new plates on. I'm writing this review to save anyone from this company. I'll also send my review further along to the consumer board.

We have carried out an internal investigation on the concerns that you raised and can confirm that the engineer attended your property to carry out inspection and testing was according to BS7671. We are proud to say that all our engineers are vetted by our compliance department and are qualified for the work they carry out. However, upon investigation, we have concluded the information from you and the engineer. You have stated the engineer was scamming you by not giving out information about the safety of equipment however he informed you in case of immediate danger he would rectify it before leaving the property. He also informed you about potentially dangerous conditions which can cause an unsatisfactory outcome. Our engineer also informed us of the payment method you decided to change upon not receiving the VAT excluded invoice, as well as approaching the engineer to do the works required privately in order to get it done cheaper. Once again we are proud to say that our engineers are not only qualified but faithful to the business and take every job seriously. We provided you with the remedial quote, and it is entirely up to you to either accept or decline the quotation. You also mentioned to the engineer that someone had worked at your property before inspection and was not even qualified. I regret to say we could not match your expectations on prices but the only reason is qualified engineers are slightly higher rated than unqualified. We would appreciate it if you could provide us with facts on what grounds you believe the report is incorrect because the evidence our engineer gathered at your property proves the unsatisfactory outcome. Also, How can you question the report when you have done the same remedial work with a different engineer?

Very happy with the service next day…

Very happy with the service next day service provided gentleman came to carry out checks for EICR was very polite and nice, Reception answered my calls and gave me satisfactory answers of my enquiries , I will use their services again and highly recommend Landlord checks

Landlords checks limited are brilliant! they sent a EPC surveyor within a few hours of my call to 2 properties and by the evening I had 2 registered EPC's-fantastic!
They are really helpful, friendly and professional,I would highly recommend them!! Many thanks
