Scam. Receipt for your payment is all you will get. I have frozen my card and ordered a new one. Hate these people.

SCAM !!!! company you never received anything from them and they don’t reply when you email them, my bank is currently getting the money back.

Update on my previous post. Clearly a scam outfit and should be closed down. Although they will probably simply change their bank details etc.
#However I have started a "charge back" through my bank and hope others do too. Even though we are taking about small amounts it might get the bank to step in and close them.

A receipt sent but nothing received and no answer to 2 queries. Why is this site still up there?

Applied for 2 searches 4th September 2024 paying £29.94.
As of today (September 20th) I have had no response whatsoever from this address.
Where has my money gone? They are obviously quite good at SCAMMING.

It’s a scam. If you push them when it doesn’t arrive, they say that the document you need is not available. They did refund me. But yes, it takes time to receive the refund and you will need to cancel your card and it’s a pain. The government website is instant.

Fraudulent Scam. As other people found. They take your money and then nothing happens. Supposed to be a fifteen minute service! Will report to the various authorities and hope they get closed down.

So I used LRS a few years back as I had misplaced some deeds. Within 10 minutes they were emailed to me, fantastic service! Fast forward to July 2024 and now required information on a strip of land adjacent to my property. Paid my £29.94, immediate receipt emailed. Nothing arrived after one week, so started to chase. After several emails and online submissions, still nothing. Sent them a final email offering them to refund me or send the information, failure to do would result in contacting Trading Standards. FYI the online form for Trading Standards is available from Fridays 5pm through to Mondays 9am. Citizens Advice replied to my complaint and said I must write a letter and send it recorded to them. However, there is no address on the website. I emailed LRS to ask for the address and hey presto, an email straight back to say the £29.94 would be refunded!! It was an auto generated email and not personal. So there IS someone reading the emails, just choosing to ignore customers who have not received the service promised. Do not give up if they have failed you, report them to Trading Standards. I guess they are hoping that most will give up for the sake of £30 but for me it is the principal and boils down to stealing. I am glad to say the money is safely back in my account. Buyer Beware.

Beware. We have paid £75 to expedite a loan and after 15 days was told “ sorry we can’t help” we’re still waiting for the refund 20 days later. They pose as the UK land registry but when I was through to the real land registry they had never heard of them.

Same as previous reviewer - I paid and got an immediate receipt then nothing else despite chasing for the document. I have just emailed them stating that I am going to leave reviews on google and immediately got back a refund receipt - will keep updated on whether they have refunded - I can confirm that I have received a refund in my bank

They issued a receipt straight away but no documents have arrived and no reply to my chase up email. Didn't think to look at reviews as thought it was the genuine site. Oh well lesson learned.
4/8. Have now received an email informing us of a refund which we have received.
Just slow communication.

It beggars belief that there are reviews warning about this scam from as far back as 2018. Why has the site not been taken down? Probably because, having already had enough hassle, as I have, trying to get our results and finding we have been scammed, we just want it to end. If you are looking here, as I did, after the event please report it to Action Fraud and don’t forget that your card details are now with these unscrupulous fraudsters so cancel it. It is a nuisance but nothing compared to the possibilities of your details remaining with them.

Fantastic service! Don't be discouraged by the reviews—it's definitely worth paying the company to obtain a copy of your housing deeds.

Paid two weeks ago and no document received, no response to email or whatsoever. It's a scam for sure.

Avoid Landregistrysearches.com. I would give zero stars if it was possible to do so.
I paid £17.94 on 31st May 2024 and still have not received my documents (11th July 2024). I have emailed 3 times via their query email but have had no replies or even an acknowledgement. I thought I was using the official land registry website but I have clearly been scammed.
