Ineffective product

Ineffective product. Having persisted with weekly use of this product for 3 months, it has failed to reduce my hair growth.
Unfortunately not covered by 90 day money back guarantee, as you have to take a photo of your hair regrowth every week to be eligible.
I'd say it's worth paying more for a higher powered branded device for home use - this one is cheaper but simply doesn't work.

SCAM

Put my details in, it said that there had been an error. Almost did it twice but checked for confirmation. Almost did it twice but checked my bank and they had taken the money!!! Before sending me confirmation they said that it was waiting for me in my basket…for me to pay twice! I have asked for a refund and no response!! SCAM

BIG OLD SCAM!

I never leave reviews but whomever is running Lanveza.com is not only robbing people of their money but also giving out your personal information!! I realized pretty quickly upon ordering that it was not legit and despite trying to cancel it right away (which is impossible, btw) they informed me they could not (AKA would not.) I made peace with just being out of that money until this morning when I received a phone call from a woman asking me about her refund, like I was Lanveza’s customer service. She had accidentally double ordered their product and they instructed her to send the second one to my address, as though she was returning it directly to Lanveza. After she did, they promised to refund.They gave her my phone number to follow up, which she did after the lovely “Anastasia” (their alleged customer rep) told her that they didn’t receive the returned item and could not refund her. I’m appalled that they had the cahones to give out my name, address (the package was delivered personally to me, not to “Lanveza”) and phone number to another customer! I’ve already contacted the BBB and also plan to contact the FTC next.

STEER CLEAR of these “polite” scammers.

My package got lost in transit, I emailed customer support and got a quick, polite response that they would check. Turns out it got lost in transit and they promptly shipped me out a replacement even though it wasn’t their fault. Wonderful customer service. Can’t wait to try the product!

Scam run away!!!

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering the device… I have received (late) the device and used it for 7 weeks, and it did not work at all! I received the green light to sent it back from the customer service, after sending pictures of before/after the use of the device for 6 weeks evidencing it did not work. The return address was a private address, which is a strong indication of a scam or illegitimate business. I sent it back and since they are totally ghosting me. The customer service last message was on 6/29 that they are sending the funds but I did not received anything and they are not answering calls and emails anymore….

Thanks lanvaza for your answer but the dispute was closed beginning of June... Also, you were supposed to refund me the shipping cost and you did not.

The order was placed on 01/28/22 and shipped the next day on 01/29/22. It was delivered on 02/09/22 which is within the timeframe for delivery stated on our website (6-10 business days).

The conditions of the 90-day money back guarantee were met and we provided you with a return address. In the meanwhile the dispute was opened, and the money was frozen on the account until the dispute was resolved in Stripe. Then, the item was received back and we could not process your refund, because the dispute had been opened. The money was on hold and we did not have access to them. Therefore we needed to wait for the dispute to be resolved, which takes a long time, unfortunately.

At this point, the money was refunded. Please check your bank account to see if they returned.

I really hope I was able to clarify things!

Dear Valerie,

I would like to mention that we sent you our reply on 07/15/22 in which we let you know that the full refund was processed. Nevertheless, we will investigate as to why it took so long for the refund to be processed. However, I would also like to mention again that because of the dispute, we did not have access to your money and therefore could not process the refund until the dispute was closed.

DON'T DO IT

1 star since 0 does not exist. Changed my mind about purchase, and let them know within the hour of completing purchase. The product can't possibly be shipped yet and also as a customer you are legally entitled to a 14 day cooling off period. They refuse a refund. This is clearly a scam and i feel stupid for having fallen for it.

AVOID!

AVOID!! I didn’t complete purchase, I didn’t click on complete as was bombarded with pop ups on webpage. But they processed the order regardless and took funds from my credit card.
No response to emails. I didn’t even technically order this. Consumer Contracts Regulations give 14 day right to cancel within the UK and their head office is in London. Item being shipped from China, I’ve already given my notice of right to cancel.

I’ve never given a bad review in my life, but this experience was so terrible, I have to warn others.

I never intended to buy from them, but accidentally did (ok i know, dumb of me). I tried to cancel it before it shipped (never was emailed or told that it shipped) and when I reached out now they told me that it already shipped.

…ok I still want to cancel it, so they tell me it has to be unopened, returned within 1 day of receiving it, and costs $75 for a restocking fee. For an item I never wanted.

If you ever want to return it they will VERY rudely link you to their policies. They will not work with you.

I would never recommend buying from them. If you happen to buy anything from them, I sincerely hope you’re lucky enough to have it working perfectly.

SCAM!!!!!

SCAM!!!!!! Waited long time for device (that was expected). When I got the device I immediately noticed the color chart was off and said that any shade after medium won’t work (confirmed by rep when contacted) but the website says it “works for all but the darkest skin tone”. When I told them I want to return they said I couldn’t because the package was opened (so I can’t even open the device to see if it’s correct before returning????). I tried to return within 3 days UNUSED. They also charge $75 to return. If you’re looking for a company to just take your money and dip Lanveza is for you. Save your money and invest in a different device.

This doesn’t work

This doesn’t work. I’ve been using for 12 weeks on light skin/dark hair and have had NO results. Not only that it is a pain to use because the machine is so slow it takes me hours to do my legs, underarms, bikini and upper lip. And please read their satisfaction guarantee because it is very specific to what you have to do to be able to return it. Do yourself a favor and get a name brand.

I received the device and it was defective…

I received the device and it was defective. The unit wouldn’t flash after the second flash. Customer service was quick to respond and asked me to send a video to them to prove it wasn’t working which I did. I asked for a refund but they only wanted to send a replacement and offered to send two attachments for free. Which I agreed to . I really hope the unit works or I will be very disappointed!
