Really poor customer services and rigged product reviews

Received a targeted promo code to get 15% off, and it appears to be invalid. Then I've checked with their sales support, instead of honor a new valid code or explain what happended to the old, I've been told there will be other promotion through out the year.
And also, two or maybe three years ago, when they firstly rolled out their winter thermal LS jersey, the fitting is absolute out of shape, and I tried and tried so many times to leave a feedback on their product page, guess what, never got posted : )

Price wise, I think it's just right when you compare other manufacturers but in reality it's about comfort and longevity which La Passione provide..

Hard and sharp chamois edges ruin goodfitting & looking Bib

Very disappointing indeed. I was maybe expecting for too much at this price point.
After receiving, while fitting for size, which was fine, I already felt the chamois edges “cutting" my thighs. Due to the sharp & hard stitching/edges of the material of the chamois and the stitching “onto" the Bib, not “into” the bib, and without tapering lower at the sides to be stitched" into the Bib”.
So there is also a” hight” difference, bigger and more noticeable than other top brands. This hight, together with the hardness/sharpness the material makes for an unexpected and unpleasant experience. More so after a few hours in the saddle, where this problem became more obvious and irritating. Irritating in both meanings.
I hoped washing would soften the edges/stitching, but no such luck.
After a few 80k+ rides the problem is still there, so I know this bib will move to the bottom of the closet.
I own many bibs, as I train daily, of all kinds of brands, but this unpleasant cutting effect have I only encountered once or twice before, in a cheap no brand bib combined with wrong sizing. Not in a perfect fit.
I know and love the Italian maker of the chamois, but for some reason, this product is much below the usual and expected quality in wearing.
I feel it is not right to return the bib as it is already used, but as for LaPassione, I doubt I will return for a bib or any of their products.
Note: I try to publish above review on the LaPassione site. No surprise they did not publish. They talk the talk, but do not walk the walk

Another poor experience

I agree with all the many people who have had a very poor experience with this company. They simply don’t care about their customers and resolving issues in a reasonable manner. They are sharks, and 100% to be avoided.

Very fast delivery

Very fast delivery. Very fast reply on questions and returns. I like the designs. Only the fitting and sizing could be a bit better. Eventually I found a good fitting and beautiful bibshort.

Excellent materials, nice design and good service

I have bought a pair of winter long trousers and mid-season jacket from Lapassione, and am very happy with the quality, fit and feel. Online customer service was excellent (had a question on choice of jacket, and the advice I received was spot-on). Delivery was quick (2 days to S of France).
Have worn the jacket many times and both it and the shorts keep me warm and dry.
The chamois padding looks slightly bulky but it provides a comfortable ride, even after many hours of roads.

Not sure they're legit

Yeah, not sure if these guys are legit. Customer service was horrible and abusive when trying to return. I wonder if they're reselling cheaply made gear from Alibaba with a markup. Had to make a claim via Paypal to get money back.

Good looks, bad quality

Do not believe the reviews on their website. It would appear there filtered. I originally put up a positive review after purchasing a jersey BUT it has come apart at the seams even thought I’ve only worn it about 15 times. I decided to put up another review that was not so positive, this hasn’t appeared on their website!! I would avoid.

Mercedes prices, Fiat quality, NHS Customer service !!

Bought a size medium jersey - same size as 2 La Passione jerseys that I already own and fit fine. Guess what - It's way too small. Ok. I contact La Passione - I can return it for full refund, but it'll cost me £5 to return it !! Poor customer service this considering you are obviously unable to try before you buy and all my other stuff is the same size and fits Ok. Also got some leg warmers. Big let down - they don't stay up. Way too little rubbery stuff on the hem that's there to "stick" to your skin, so they're a waste of time. I wont bother contacting them about it, too much time, expense and hassle. Stick to Rapha and Assos in future - miles better quality, miles better customer service - these guys are Italian so any issues appear to be met with the "shoulder shrug, so what, tough luck" response. AVOID.

Poor customer service from a "premium"brand. Bought a winter jersey last year and worn it no more than 20 x times and the stitching has come away at the forearm.

Certainly won't be buying from them again :-(

My experience with La Passione is not good!!!!

My experience with La Passione is not good! This is the story. I had ordered a Bib short in the sales (-40%) and it was send out tom me. It was to small for me, and I wanted to exchange the bib short to a larger one, this is not possible, oke fair enough. I needed to order a new one on the site. But the sales was ended. I send out an email to ask if I order a new one, that I can heve the discount. The answer was NO. So last time I have ordere here anything.

Worst customer service ever!

Ordered livery jersey and matching shorts 10 days ago, and it still has not been dispatched. I emailed them 8 days ago and despite the promised two day response time but have heard a nothing back. Since then the items I ordered have all gone down in the sale, so I emailed to try and ask them to either refund the difference, or give me a full refund as the items had not been dispatched. Guess what? No response. Having read the other reviews, I’m now very worried and am going to try and get PayPal to refund me.

Horrendous experience !

Horrendous experience
I measured my body against the recommended sizes and even went one bigger when the shirt arrived it was more two sizes smaller
Customer Service were appalling. Charged £15 to return item to Italy i’m top of the £10 delivery charge meant I spent £25 for something I couldn’t wear.
When I complained I was met with a rude and very abrupt response saying that’s how it is. Not recommended
Suggest trying one of the other companies like Chapeau, Le Col or Rapha

Disapointing customer service

So far I had bought several items, all sized XL and was quite happy with them. Then I decided to give XXL a try and was quite surprised. Not only where the arms shorter and the shirt tighter, but the front zipper was also 10cm shorter than the one on my XL jersey and still 8cm shorter than the one on my Gillet. When I tried to claim a faulty sizing they started telling me about more "stretch" added. I never heard of a stretchable zipper and asked them specifically about that, but they only repeated the first answer. To me, that's a reason to switch to Cafe du Cycliste..

Bought a pair of bib shorts in my size…

Bought a pair of bib shorts in my size in grey. Wore them once on a ride and was told by all the other riders I was showing off more then they had bargained for I.e. the shorts were very see through.
These are expensive shorts and I would expect the quality to match the price. When asked if LaPassione would replace the ‘faulty’ pair I was told this never has happened before and as I have worn them they cannot intervene.
What a load of rubbish!
It’s a manufacturing issue and they should take more care in helping customers with issues with their products.
I won’t buy from them again and will tell everyone about their poor customer service.

If you want expensive, average quality cycling clothing with terrible after care customer service then LaPassione is your brand!
Otherwise buy elsewhere!

Avoid!

Bought a pair of Zenith gloves for the summer and a buff for the shoulder seasons a month ago. The buff is supposedly made from recycled material and so environmentally-friendly but on arrival looks and feels cheap. The stitching on one of the glove fingers unravelled within 4 rides and when I wrote to their Customer Services, I was told they would not replace them and that I should wash them and return them for a repair - not worth the effort for a €25 pair of gloves.

Stick with the established brands if buying online or buy in store so you can have a conversation with a real person if things go wrong.

I would look elsewhere.
I bought one of their high end jerseys. It looks good and i like the fit. When i got home after my first ride and took my jersey off i saw that the seams had let go in three different places resulting in holes in the jersey. I got in contact with their customer service via email including pictures of the holes, and their reply was that "since the jersey is used they cant send me a new one, but if I send it back to them they could mend if for me as long as I washed it first". I replied that a jersey of that price should hold up better and not break apart after a two hour ride. But they where addament that they would not send a new replacement. Having bought alot of stuff from other online stores I have sometimes needed to return things but have been treated in better ways. I got a faulty tire from Rosebikes and they just sent me a new tire. Thats how you keep customers! All in all, jersey looks good but not with three holes in it. I expected more for 80 euros.

Please don't buy from these guys

Please don't buy from these guys - This is one of those online stores that look flashy and professional and pays lots of money to advertise on Facebook. The minute you start to return a faulty product you get that sinking feeling that you've been scammed. I purchased a pair of all-weather gloves that broke after 40 minutes of riding. Returned them for a refund and their customer service became abusive, throwing insults at me over e-mail, calling me "disrespectful" because I had sent them back used. Pointing out the flaw in their logic, that they had failed after being used, hence why they were returned "used" was pointless. I was told that I shouldn't have returned them in such a state and that I'd insulted them by doing so. It was complete insanity trying to get any sense out of them so had to make a claim via PayPal to get my money back.

LaPassione terrible costumer experience

I placed an order after seeing an advertisement through US FaceBook: their sales had very nice items. It was advertised that if I shopped for over 100 it would be free shipping. I did place my order and was charged for three items; but the “free” shipping indicated it was meant to be in Euro. My total charge was 99Euro. I confirmed and paid the order. I did send a message to their website trying to communicate that it looked like 100$ but was happy with the deal as it stands.
Today I receive a cancellation of my order since I did not responded within a three day period about my claim?? Seemingly my “dispute” was unsolved and after three days “holding” the order was canceled. I immediately responded and expressed that I had never intended to cancel and actually accepted the shipping charge when confirming my order. I’m baffled that sales representatives find it acceptable to get into verbal “wars” over bagatelle issues. I really was looking forward to receive my items - but this experience is uneven art and could have been prevented by simply sending a message, a text, an email, or even call! It’s 2018.
I share this experience to warn others; even if an article looks good: the company’s representation and decorum for their product is of equal importance. Never quarrel with a happy costumer; avoid escalating conflict especially when your client is already a convinced fan of your product.
Their methods do not match their quality!
