Looks good but bad quality
We purchased a coffee table. It looks good and gives the impression of being real wood. But quality is very poor. The surface cracked with the slightest impact, it’s like cardboard inside. I would not recommend and will not buy anything else from this shop.

Good product, fast delivery
Ordered a recordplayer stand at LaRedoute. I saw a lot of negative reviews, but i was in love with the product so i bought it nonetheless. I was really surprised at how fast it was delivered, within 3 days from abroad.
The product itself was really well packed and is just as showed on the site/app.
In all, more than happy with the service and despite a lot of negative reviews, i am a more than happy customer.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, basically nonexistent. They use a super cheap delivery system, which means even if you pay for the best delivery option, that is crap. I ordered a bed a month ago, and still have not received it because the whole system is a mess and I just can't reach them. I would not recommend this company.

Horrible customer service. Don’t deliver the purchased goods, don’t react to inquiries and don’t provide a solution or refund. Ordered on the 24th of June, more than a month later still no delivery. When trying to contact their customer service more than 10 times by mail, whatsapp and chat no reaction what so ever. Have been a customer for several years and had positive experiences in the past. Laredoute has really sunk in customer service and I would advise not purchasing anymore with them if you want to avoid to pay for goods that will not be delivered and having no reaction and refund or solution from them within reasonable timelines.

They are the worst service ever
They are the worst service ever. I placed an order and paid even for the fastest delivery service. All the time, they were telling me I would receive my order. However, after 4 weeks, I called them again asking for my order and they just cancelled without any notification. Their feedback was only orders were cancelled and I’m still waiting for my refund even though they cancelled the order without previous notification.
Worst company ever!

Ripped off
I ordered a drawer for €600. It arrived damaged, with a big tear in the back. One of the doors was also not working and unable to open and close. When I contacted client support the couldn’t offer me a decent reimbursement. They told me that I have to send it back myself in the original packaging. Apart from the fact that it’s way to heavy to lift by myself, is the original packaging multiple boxes covered in foam and ducktape. Something that you had to damage to open, which means you cannot send it back.
I feel scammed, €600 gone to waste. Moving is stressful and expensive enough, this really felt like a slap in the face.

Arrived without problems
Arrived without problems. However, not satisfied with the end product. Not all pieces align properly so only connected at 3 of 4 points. Also, the metal is already showing signs of rust. The design and quality is nothing special and overpriced in my view.

La redoute sells overpriced and faulty…
La redoute sells overpriced and faulty products. For example, they advertise curtains without stating anywhere that it’s only 1 that arrives upon ordering. I waited for a month to find the curtain in stock again and it’s faulty, even though the size should be the same it’s much shorter than the other curtain. They also sell a lot of low quality products that they buy for cheap from other countries but resell at 10 times more. Their scheduled delivery is non-existent, they hand the package over to delivery and don’t promise you an actual date and time, but still claim it on the website. I don’t recommend buying anything here.

Broken ben frame
I bought a bed frame and it arrived at my place after 7 weeks broken. The only option they are offering me is to send it back, wait for reimbursement and order a new one (it is more expensive now) The whole process will take again at least 2 months. I am really unhappy.

Wish it went better
I have been eyeing La Redoute for some time. The site has some very nice looking products. I finally ordered some sheets. The delivery was on time. However, the quality of the sheets was really not good, so I had to return them. It took one month and two emails to get the return processed. I really wish the experience was different as I had high hopes.

I'm giving it only 4 stars because the bed arrived about one week late, but, to be fair, it was bought on Black Friday, so it was probably a busy period.

I want to return an item and like all the bad reviews state, something is very wrong with this company. Truly a scam, scary how a company this big can get away with such things.

Ordered , got delivered , but our mistake (colours didn't match) so return ; in package no return document so we send mail to get procedure and and ask for returndocument.
NO reaction , not even after 4 reminders (and 2 months)
They simple don't care .

Still no refund after 4 months

I returned an item back in November 2021 which I still haven't received a refund for. After following up by phone in December where I was promised that the payment will be in my account in 3 working days, the refund still hasn’t been paid. We’re now at the end of February, I have emailed LaRedoute but have not received a response. This is very unfortunate as I’ve purchased from them many times before not just clothes but furniture and soft furnishings too. Im extremely disappointed and quite frankly annoyed as the item returned is up to €100. I won’t be shopping with LaRedoute again primarily due to this bad experience.
Feb 25, 2022 update.
I did as instructed by the standard response from LaRedoute (below). Annie-Sophie kindly confirmed that she submitted a request their financial department for the corresponding amount to the return. And that the refund will be made to the original payment account as soon as possible. Well it has now been three days, and I haven’t received an email confirming that the refund will take place nor have I received the refunded amount.
Its all well and good to have a customer service department reassure you that something is going to happen but if this information is not reaching the finance department or if the finance department have no intention of making the refund payment then this is effectively steeling. LaRedoute’s finance department need to get their act together and give people their money back for returned goods. I will continue to share updates, hopefully the next one will be promising.
Mar 1, 2022: update
Issue resolved. Today I learnt that the refund from comes from a different name “Ingenico” and not under LaRedoute. In this case the refund was transferred in December however, I did not receive an email from LaRedoute stating that I have been refunded or to expect the refund to come from Ingenico, so it was not clear to me that it had been done.
Throughout, the customer service team have been very helpful. However overall communications with a returns could be improved.
